Had a great lunch here! They have a vegetarian platter special which was excellent. It came with vegetable curries, raita, salad, and rice pudding. Generous portions and a great deal. Interior design is stylish and sleek. Service was friendly and good.

This place is outstanding. The food is delicious. The service is great. The atmosphere and prices are good. The menu is large, with good choices. This is now my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. They have Thai food as well. Can’t wait to go back.

Tonight (12-28-24) was my first time eating at Eddy’s. I arrived approximately 7:30ish. I am basing my opinion on my experience only. When I arrived there was a gentleman cleaning up a bit. He welcomed me in immediately and apologized that the place wasn't organized due to him cleaning up. That didn’t bother me at all. In fact I like a restaurant that the workers make it their business to provide a clean environment for their customers. The restaurant isn’t huge in my opinion. In fact I thought of it as quite nice and cozy. However the place was filled with things that resemble the Jamaican culture. The restaurant has a large selection of beverages and bakery goods such as bread, bun, crackers etc. The menu was off to the right side of the wall and appeared to be visible. I was then greeted by a lovely lady. I asked if she had oxtails and she said yes. She offered small, medium, and large plate sizes. She made me a medium plate with oxtails, cabbage, rice and peas, and plantains. When I got home, I started to eat my food of course. The plate was heavy to say the least. This is the first restaurant that is NOT afraid of giving you what you need. There was a generous amount of oxtail on the plate. I asked for gravy and she gave me lots. The food was amazing. The oxtail came off the bone as soon as I picked one up. The food was fresh, and very filling. The rice and peas and cabbage did not disappoint me. I could taste the rich spices and flavorful ingredients. I definitely will be returning back to Eddy’s. I can’t wait to try the goat and jerk chicken. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for real authentic Jamaican cuisine.

There are these tiny, unexpected places that have massive presence. This is one of them. The jerk chicken (rice & peas, and plaintain) was excellent.

The food has alway been really good, I’d go at least 2 times a week for food. I wound religiously order the same thing every time me and my B.F. would go for food but then one random day, with no notice or warning of the price increase, they just raised there prices and raised them higher then most of the other HALA chicken places

Wow! Amazingly good! So full of flavor!! I loved everything! Ordered Thai tea, Tom Ka Soup, basil fried rice with chicken, calamari, curry puffs and noodle soup! Everything was hot and fresh! My only complaint is that the waiter stopped us from ordering more, but thank goodness he did! Lol we literally wanted to order the whole menu! But that was more than enough food for just two of us! I’m already planning my next visit! AND SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT!!!! We got the fried bananas with a honey drizzle and vanilla bean ice cream.. it was a great dessert! Can’t wait to try the rest! I really wanted the sticky coconut rice with mangos! Update September 2024 Still the best Thai around! They added a few new items to their menu! Come check them out! My friend and I went on a 4hr hike and upon learning I've never had Thai, they had to take me to get some. We went here, it's a nice small spot, very homey area. The server attended up right away and brought us water, he patiently waited for me to place my order. Their Thai iced tea was amazing, I loved it and highly recommend it. For appetizers, we ordered the fresh summer rolls & Thai spicy chicken wings (they're not very spicy for people who can't take heat) & one friend ordered the Tom Yum soup as appetizer. I ordered the Praram Long Song w/ chicken, in the stir-fry section of the entrées. It was very good, though a new experience for me since I'm used to dinner being a salty meal and this was more of a sweet dinner, it was a very good different. One of my friends ordered Pad Thai noodles w/ chicken & the other Pad Thai noodles w/ beef. They didn't have the fried ice cream but it is fine because we were all full. Very nice place, very clean. Highly recommend.

This is by far the best sushi place i have ever been to. Everything was fresh and you could tell that the man making it is a master of his craft. You can taste the passion that he puts into the dishes. I ended up ordering twice because the food was just that spectacular. Makes me wish I wasn't just visiting the area and that I lived down the block because I would eat here everyday if possible. The portions you get for the price is unbeatable as well

The food was delicious! And the service was on point, they seem understaffed, but we still had a great time. Definitely would recommend.👌

HIDDEN GEM!!! I can not say enough about this place -- we booked our HS Varsity Soccer banquet here and it was AMAZING!! The room is HUGE with a separate entrance and bathrooms, so very private. There is a bar in the room for ease of getting any beverages. The staff from TOP to BOTTOM were fabulous and attentive. They were VERY competitively priced and offered a huge array of food options. The entire team and families have shared wonderful feedback and really enjoyed their time. Could not recommend this place any higher --you will NOT be disappointed !!

The doubles was the best doubles I ever had! It was just like having them in Trinidad! Not even queens can compare to hers! We had a blast eating today. From doubles. To saltfish n bake, pastelle pie, Chinese style chicken, peppapot, sorrel and many more. Will be back again for all her delicious meals!

Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food is authentic Trinidad and Tobago cuisine and is outstandingly maintained it's taste through the family tree. As you enter, you see the grandmother's picture who started everything and the recipes she passed on. Curry goat, curry chicken, potato stew with rice and peas and doubles roti is so delicious and filling. Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The owner is extremely generous and welcoming. She and her strike an awe with the customers as they establish a good rapport. I assume most of the customers are repeats. She recommended several items to taste as this was a first for me and offered tasting of several items. They also claim to be the only restaurant that serves their cuisine in Orange county, NYY. Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The restaurant is a small quaint restaurant situated in a small town, however, is surrounded by Indian restaurants, Sri Lankan, grocery stores, Asian stores, and a few Mediterranean restaurants. The restaurant gives away a lot of island vibes and music is good. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is that the chairs are placed so tightly together that it's hard to get in and out of the table to eat. This restaurant gets an amazing 4.8⭐s. Definitely a go to restaurant and I will be back.

These dumplings are fat and juicy, but not greasy. The house steamed dumplings with pork, leeks, and shrimp were excellent, as were the pan fried pork ones. The green beans sauteed in garlic were phenomenal. The only dish we didn't love was the popcorn chicken as it was too overcooked. Regardless, everything else was delicious and we can highly recommend it.

Passed by this place many times, tried their soup dumplings (Xia long nap), very tasty. The flour dough is just right, soup not too oily, and it's a must signature dish! Ask for side fresh graded ginger to pair with the vinegar dipping sauce, it's high quality as the ginger is crispy chilled fresh! Will need to keep trying other dishes.

Found this place through TikTok. The staff is very friendly. The food was delicious. The noodles were great and the spicy chicken was just the great amount of spice!

Food here is avrage not the best but very budget friendly the give a heavy portion but doesn't mean high quality I wouldn't recommend this establishment but nothing bad just bellow average experience

Introduced by a co-worker with a highly recommended about this restaurant. We came to have a try with their foods why was such a hype. It located inside a small strip mall right at the corner of Beach and Lincoln. It was a small size of the restaurant, but don't let it fool you. Even it was raining outside but the restaurant was in full of capacity. As a friend had recommended We ordered a hot seafood noodle and black bean sauces noodle. It turned out they were good and delicious, the broth was just right and tasty. But the noodles were awesome, they were fresh and chewy. the noises were average and the majority of customers were middle ages with Family. Services here were ok, not too friendly maybe it was a little busy so taking care of customers was not a priority? Overall, this is a good decent restaurant to stop by. Good prices and big portion of foods so you could share...

Please be careful if you want to dine in here. The price of food does not match the menu at all. I ordered a noodles with list price as $9.95 but they charge me $18 for it. Doesn’t worth it at all! Besides, they don’t accept credit card if the total amount is less than $20.

One of the best Chinese restaurants we’ve ever had, it’s one of our go to spots! Our usual order is chicken chow mein (homemade noodles), shrimp fried rice, and (our new favorite) Mongolian beef. The employees are so sweet and kind. We’ve never had any issues here, only yummy food and great service.

Just your regular takeout place. They do have one vegan (tofu and eggplant) option on the steam table which is rare to find. But they have plenty of vegan options ala carte. I got the combo with lo mein and eggplant tofu and it was average. There was no taste of any sauce on the eggplant. Lo mein was good and contained 75% of my box. The box size is smaller than other Chinese places but the prices are less as well so it's good overall.

My family has dined at China King at least once every few weeks for the past 27 years. It has been consistent through the years and it is my sister's go to place whenever she visits home. No other place makes chowmein and orange chicken like they do! It has become a tradition to eat here whenever we have big events or have nostalgic family events to celebrate.
