Franco Di Roma
Franco’s Pizza is a great spot with a lot of character! The place is huge, making it perfect for big events like weddings or sweet 16s. Franco himself is always welcoming and brings a fun, upbeat energy to the place. The pizza can be hit or miss, but the vibe and atmosphere are consistently great. I really appreciate the easy parking and was pleasantly surprised to find glass bottle sodas on the menu. Overall, it's a solid spot for a casual meal or a larger celebration!
I LOVED MICHELLE who was gracious enough to ask the chef if you could make me chicken piccata which was not on the menu to my surprise they were able to accommodate me and it was DELICIOUS! Salad was fresh, but was not a fan of the house balsamic dressing, thankfully, Michelle put it on the side aka had brought me the oil and vinegar I initially asked for. The decor is a bit dated but the food was very good.
Olive Falafel
While visiting in NY area, decided to get some Mediterranean food and chose Olive Falafel. My husband and I are glad we did! Excellent service, made us feel very welcome to NY, food absolutely delicious!! So much food that we can have another meal later. Highly recommend the platters chicken shawarma and gyro platter. The baklava is very tasty as well! Meant to get pictures before digging in but at least took some after. 😁
Ordered spanakopita and the olive sampler platter and got no hummus and no tzatziki. The chicken was very dry, so more sauces would have been clutch here and the spanakopita (pictured) was tiny, hard and dry and looked/felt/tasted suspiciously like the ones you can buy in the freezer section of the grocery store. It’s fresher and a larger portion at the deli in Adam’s. The baba ghanoush and gyro and rice were very tasty. The falafel was a little hard and dry, but it was good (not great).
Cosimo's Brick Oven
Great place to sit at the bar and have a drink. Also eat some appetizers and possibly a main course. I ordered the Thai chili calamari with this fantastic and then I ordered a Caesar salad of black and salmon which was the bartender's special. I got to admit it was a very good salad
Amazing restaurant. Molly, our waitress was kind, patient and helpful. Staff works together and all the food was good. We will definitely come back soon
Zen Sushi
Let me just start off by saying I had no idea all you can eat sushi existed anyways it’s totally worth the price. The presentation is very very nice. It’s spot on. You will be impressed. They do have a vegetarian options for you. The service is fast and they’re friendly and they’re very very clean highly recommend. Great sushi too
Not entirely the restaurants fault, but it wasn’t very clear when we were ordering items so we got a crap load of fried food. Luckily, our party was large enough to crush it. We certainly think this restaurant has potential perhaps reduce the amount of rice in the sushi rolls. Friendly staff.
MIX N MAC - Mac & Cheese
.. came back and they no longer had the Frenchie, huge disappointment, tried some of their other flavors but wasn’t too impressed. Bring back the Frenchie please. __________________ Best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had! I drove 1 and a half hours to get here and it was well worth the trip. I had the Frenchie and it was surprisingly delicious!! I can’t wait to try other flavors during my next visit.
This place is amazing if you love mac n cheese. I just visited this past weekend and tried one of the newer flavors and it did not disappoint.
Gold Chain
Great food. Great couple that owns the place.
Chicken with garlic sauce to go was tasty as expected. I'd order it again. Chicken was cooked properly with no strange pieces. Flavor was good and not overpowering.
Hanami Japanese Restaurant
It was phenomenal. My family and I came for my 16th birthday dinner, so they gave me a free fried ice cream after everything. The food was fantastic and I can't wait to go there again. Had a bariatric handicapped family member, and the waiter helped wonderfully and was very kind. The waiter checked in on us often, and even showed us how to properly open the Japanese fun soda (it meant it when they called it fun), and cleared our dishes frequently. The food was absolutely delicious. Just a tip, the meals are very large and filling, so we had leftovers to take home. Everything was delicious and very well priced. The fried rice was mind-blowing. I was surprised that I was able to finish my fried ice cream, it was so large, but surprisingly tasty. I got more food for a lower price than the local grill by where I live. Definitely worth the trip, 10/10 recommended.
Seriously the Spider roll was AMAZING!! I forgot to take a pic until I had only one piece left- but it was the best thing at my table of four!
Danny’s Restaurant
The food is disgustingly terrible. Dried up meats… burnt maduros that were hard and old. White rice was too hard to eat and the potatoes balls were nasty. The roasted chicken was dried up as well . It all ended up in the garbage. The worst Dominican food I ever had . Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. My family and I Will never order from this place again.
Great hole in the wall for some delicious Dominican food. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The chicharrón was crunchy and delicious. The Pernil had good seasonings. And the drinks were refreshing, especially the pineapple juice
Cosimo's
The food is always satisfying. Good dinner service. Had to wait for a bit although we had a reservation.
Good vibes, food and drinks. Servers and management were professional and polite. Definitely will come back.
Orange Hill Restaurant, Newburgh, NY
We started with the arancini and lobster bisque. Then enjoyed the Hudson Valley duck and chicken Milanese. Everything was wonderful. Served hot and fresh. The atmosphere was quaint, clean and spacious. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We were even treated to a sample dessert at the end and it was phenomenal, too. If we weren't just passing through we would definitely be back! The $$$ is definitely worth the quality and quantity. About $45 per person with a drink, too. This is definitely a gem to go to when visiting the Hudson Valley.
Took my children here for my 46th birthday dinner. Surprisingly elegant atmosphere and very accommodative staff. Had soups, salad, appetizers, and entrees. My 12-year old son had the duck, his twin sister had the veal marsala, and I had the swordfish; all were very good. Coffee/chocolate dome for dessert which essentially turned us all into jackals competing for every single spoonful! 😂 We had a great time and a great meal from start-to-finish.
Leo's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria Cornwall
We had a lovely dinner here! The staff, especially our server, were wonderful and the food delicious 😋 Highly recommend the shrimp scampi entree (which came with a delicious side salad) and the vanilla ice cream with avocado and biscotti sundae (accompanied by espresso).
We often get our pizza at Leo's in Cornwall. It's delicious. We went there for dinner and had soup, grilled chicken ceasar salad and eggplant parmigiana. Everything was fantastic! They serve warm garlic bread, which is exquisite. The staff was friendly. You should try it.
Frank's Pizza
Me and my family ordered delivery from here. We got salad, wings, and a pizza. It took about an hour and 10 minutes , for a Saturday night is understandable. But the food was really bad. The salad came hot, and the wings not one of us found edible. Here they are pictured in the trash. They tasted like general tso chinese food sauce, and they were inexplicably hard. The pizza wasn’t great either. I’m extremely disappointed, and I’ll never order from here again.
First time there fresh food I ordered a large frank's special pizza it was delicious l always need more sauce my sister ordered the shrimp parmigiano with angel hair pasta and we had ceasar salad l'm just visiting from stl I truly enjoyed everything food the people the service clean dining room
