Sarku Japan
Can’t really go wrong with these ubiquitous hibachi style restaurants in shopping malls, some are named differently but we always call them ‘Sarkus’. Love the slight char on the chicken and the sweet sauce that they use, we’ve been steering away from the extra ladle of sauce that they offer to pour over the rice for free but that’s an option if you want it. Being near the gulf, the quality of their shrimp is really good. The portions are also huge and prices are just right.
I like the food, but You guys can't act like you aren't cheating us on the meat portions. It's getting smaller and smaller every time I go. But I'm also noticing that you guys are asking me more than often if I want double meet for two dollars extra. And at this point Double meat is probably the same as one portion before you guys started being skimpy with some meat. And please don't gaslight me and say that I really just want double meat because I've never ordered double meat and I've never had this problem where there is barely any meat but a fountain of rice. You guys are getting skimpy on the rice too. I honestly rather you raise the prices by a dollar or something, then me paying for one thing and getting another. They even tried to give me a half full drink until I gave it back to them. At this point, this is just getting embarrassing. But if you have people that are willing to put up with it and still eat there, so what can I really say?
Lee’s KBBQ Hot Pot
Nice Staff but wouldn't recommend the all you can eat KBBQ aspect of it. Friend and I had lunch here and were extremely sick after the fact. Meat from BBQ isn't best quality, apparently hot pot had better quality. I just wouldn't recommend it for those with sensitive stomaches... and it's definitely not worth the price. For close to $80 it could've been slightly better, however our waitress was very very helpful and nice! She deserved a great tip! Owner seemed nice too. No problems with staff but all the problems with the food itself.

Papa Johns Pizza
Since this is closest to me now I have ordered pickup orders from this location. Order is always great and correct. Employees are always friendly and helpful and happy to see you. It is in a nice neighborhood which is always a good thing when you want to place pickup orders. No worries here. Orders are always ready quickly and ready when I get there. Highly recommended location.
Second time ordering from this location. Ordered a Hawaiian BBQ Chicken pizza, as I always do. Did NOT taste any BBQ sauce, pizza was floppy and not completely cooked. 1st time I ordered was worse and I'm not getting into that. I suggest that they find someone to properly make a pizza. WILL NOT order from this location again!
Hong Kong Express
After passing by for a while I decided to stop by today. I’m glad I did. They have a food court style hot and ready section. One member of my party elected for this. She got the General Tso’s chicken with green beans and noodles. No complaints. I ordered the Mongolian beef with fried rice, Crab Rangoon’s, and Egg Drop soup to go. All were excellent the Rangoon’s had excellent crunchy wonton and the filling was perfect; they provided sweet and sour as a dipping sauce for these. The Mongolian beef was delicious had an excellent rich sauce and was very fresh. The tables were nice and clean also! The egg drop soup had an excellent rich flavor. I highly recommend them if you are on Perdido Key and looking for a close Chinese option.
Went in with high hopes based on a friend's recommendation. Unfortunately we found out after getting home that we did not receive any sauce with the sweet and sour pork (it was a carton of fried pork nuggets). Had to drive back to get the sauce - which was not like any "sweet and sour" sauce I've ever seen. It was thick and very red and contained not one pineapple piece. (see photo) Actually questioned if they had mistakenly provided the wrong sauce - was met with a blank stare. Fried rice was literally just brown rice with a vegetable or two sprinkled in. Entire meal - pretty much flavorless and sauce had a very weird taste (not sweet and sour). We do not recommend this place.
Panda Express
Food comes in a great plate portion, I always come here for a quick lunch if I don’t feel like going to the galley. It’s very quick and easy to get food and get out.
Food portions have gotten smaller , I've noticed the last four or five times I've ordered they don't cut the chicken up good. Just like a dull knife that does not go all the way through which You can't cut with spork and don't offer plastic butter knife to cut . Just seems to be going down hill
Fang's Poke & Bao
Ordered the teriyaki bowl with an appetizer of two egg rolls and an extra order of fried rice. Horribly disappointed. I’m a small girl and ordered extra things so I could feed my son to but the portions of all my items weren’t even enough for just me. And I do not eat a lot. It was also cold on arrival despite the fact I received it pretty quickly after o ordered. I’ll never order from here again.
Looking for a great poke bowl? Come to Fang's Poke Bowl and Bao. The restaurant was clean and maintained by a friendly and warm staff. The poke bowls were amazing and didn't disappoint! If you find yourself in Cordova Mall stop by and be sure to say hi to Joshua!
China Max
I eat this a lot and it's normally good. I wanted the honey chicken and general chicken this last time. My fiance can't eat anything spicy so I asked them if I could get it separated and they refused. They told me it would be an additional $5-$6 to just put the same amount of food in an extra container. I won't be eating there again. Poor customer service.
Ordered the honey chicken with fried rice let me tell you it's not the same as it use to be. I thought it tasted a bit off because me and my mom was chewing forever had to spit it out, Would NOT recommend! no wonder I haven't eating here in a minute, let's hope I don't get sick
Wok-a-Holic
I have been eating here for years and every time I'm in Pensacola I have to go by workaholic and get the honey chicken and white rice. It is absolutely amazing. I could eat it every day and never get tired of it. The service is great as well. I highly recommend everyone trying their food, you won't be disappointed.
I've been going here for a while, back when it was still China-Max. This time I ordered for myself and 1 other. The fried rice, spicy chicken, and honey chicken were just as amazing as always, but when it came to my other order we ran into an issue. The noodles tasted fine, but the beef and broccoli I got tasted like shrimp, and not the tasty kind. We couldn't even eat it without gagging since it tasted like fish bait. Hope it was possibly just a minor cross-contamination issue or possibly a seasoning mix up, but I don't think I'll be ordering anything other than the chicken for a while.
Wow Bao - Inside Ruby Tuesday - Pensacola, Navy Blvd (FL)
Awful! The bao was as hard as a brick! I couldn’t cut it or bite into it. I finally managed to get it open and the filling was dry and not good. The fried rice and chicken teriyaki were also not good. Never again.
The egg rolls were greasy and the whole box was wet with grease. The orange chicken legitimately tasted bizzare. The bao filling was dry and did not resemble chicken. First impressions were solid. Never again.
Happy Kitchen
I had the lunch special garlic sauce with chicken- delicious! Sauce was very tasty and there was a great assortment of vegetables. My daughter thought the chicken lo mein was good but not the best she’s had. Portion size was good for the price (both were around $8.50). It’s a little bit of drive from Pensacola, but I think it was worth it because it’s better than any Chinese food we’ve been able to find there.
Went there for the first time recently. I politely asked the woman in front if they had options without msg. She was so rude that I left without ordering and will never return.
New China Buffet
I told my wife all Chinese buffets are the same. I was wrong. The fried rice here has a lot more flavor than other restaurants. The pepper chicken is superior. And while baked catfish is not a typical dish I'm still going to rave about the baked catfish. Very nice place to eat.
The food was cold. I asked if they would make it fresh but the manager just took my plate and microwaved it. I don't recommend this place at all.
New Hong Kong House
I’m absolutely in love with this Chinese restaurant in Pensacola, FL!🍜🍱🥡 The New Hong Kong House provides an all around excellent dining experience! Atmosphere: The restaurant is on the corner of a small shopping center with a large interior that provides a variety of seating areas. Service: Our waiter was on it. He placed our orders quickly, made sure that we had refills, and gave great recommendations when asked! Menu items: We got the Baked Custard Tarts (Egg Tarts) from the Dim Sum menu, Egg Drop Soup (not pictured), Pork and Shrimp Dumplings, Curry Chicken, and Black Pepper Chicken with Lo Mein. Every single dish was delicious and flavorful providing unique menu options to the area. I loved it so much that I’m already planning to come back to try new menu items!
This is by far the best Chinese food in Pensacola hands down! Everything we ordered was great tasting and the service was absolutely amazing. The host convinced my wife and I to give it a try and we were not disappointed one bit. Great food is hard to find in Pensacola especially if you’re from out of town. This place sets the bar.
