Very nice quiet Thai restaurant. The decor is inviting and the temperature, music level and everything about it was perfect for an early dinner. The service was very welcoming and polite. They check on you the perfect amount. We had the mussels which were really good. Similar to some other places, with a little bit more mussels. Then we had duck noodle soup and shrimp pad see ew. Both were really good! It was portioned very generous too. The banana delight was very good. It’s a banana in a spring roll with coconut ice cream. I recommend getting that for dessert. Some of the food smelled so good I forgot to take pictures of it. Just trust me and go.

This was our second time here and was very impressed with the food and the service. The first time I tried the coconut soup and crab Rangoon. The soup was so flavorful, loved the fresh vegetables and the cilantro. The crab Rangoon was amazing, it had yellow curry in the filling, so full of flavor and delicious. This time I had fried cashew with chicken. We had sushi too! Everything was fresh. Service was great. Very attentive servers.

It is stressful to be here but I don’t care because the food is always so good. My family and I usually get pancakes here (some of the best pancakes) but this time I got a cheeseburger with bacon, onions, and jalapeño peppers. You would’ve thought it came from a burger establishment it was so delicious. The burger was juicy and huge. I’m never going back to eating pancakes for breakfast when I can have this beautiful and flavorful burger instead. If you’re dining in your service quality really depends on who’s serving you because I’ve gotten some ‘tude before.

The building and the decor tell you the place has been around a while, and the food, prices, and service tell you why. I had a seafood pasta dish and was initially surprised by how much tomato sauce it was buried in and by the size {it was two FULL meals and I'm not a small man). I dove in anyway, pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was - even the sauce, which is generally not my preference. Spices were well used and the seafood was perfectly done. The 5th star fell to the overcooked, nearly flavorless pasta, but the rest more than made up for it. Service was friendly but a little slow and chaotic. The place was slammed so I cut them a break for that, assuming they (like many places) are struggling to get servers and didn't just schedule too few. The decor was dated kitschy but pleasant. Atmosphere is typical of a family-style diner and they had no trouble accommodating our large party. And the value was remarkable. For what we got, I would have expected a larger tab. As I said at the start, there's a reason (actually several) this place maintains its popularity. I look forward to my next visit.

An Unexpected Gem – A Feast Worth Every Bite! What a pleasant and completely unexpected surprise! We stumbled into this spot on a quiet Sunday afternoon and, I’ll admit, we were a little nervous when we saw the empty dining room. But let me tell you—this place is seriously underrated. The menu? Massive. Vietnamese, Thai, and American options, which can sometimes be a red flag, but we were feeling adventurous. Having lived in Asia, my husband and I knew we had to do a full-scale taste test—aka, order way too much food. The Feast Begins: Appetizers: The gyoza didn’t wow me, but the crab Rangoons? Chef’s kiss. Crispy, creamy, and packed with flavor. Sushi: We tried the yellowtail sashimi and a roll—both were fresh and delicious. Major points for the roll size! I hate when sushi rolls are so massive you have to unhinge your jaw like a snake just to take a bite. These? Perfectly portioned. Pho Challenge: My husband, in a moment of pure confidence (or foolishness), bet our server Huy that he could handle the large pho. This bowl was comically huge. I regret not taking a photo with his head next to it for scale—it was that big. (That’s what she said.) Red Curry: My personal go-to at any Thai restaurant, and wow. One bite transported me straight back to my favorite Thai spot in Okinawa, run by the sweetest Thai couple. Rich, fragrant, and packed with authentic flavor. Pad Thai (To Go, Because YOLO): Since we don’t live super close, we figured, why not bring some home? No regrets. Was this an obscene amount of food for two people? Abso-frickin-lutely. But here’s the thing—we’ve been searching high and low across Tampa for solid Asian cuisine, and this place delivered. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and honestly, exactly what we’ve been craving. The service was fantastic, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the best part? Our bill—with all that food plus four Sapporos—came in under $100 (before tip). And speaking of tips—please tip your servers well! We’re already planning our next visit. If you haven’t checked this place out yet, do yourself a favor and go. You won’t be disappointed.

Very simple looking interior but then they brought out the food… unexpected greatness! Gyoza was nothing special but has a great dipping sauce. Crab Rangoon was very nicely done and great flavor. Here’s where we have fun… when ordering pho and the dude laughs and says “you should get the large” please beware! It was massive! Ate every bit but still was massive. Great aromatics in the broth and a lovely, light meal (if you order the regular). Share the large with a friend or prepare for a food coma. The pad Thai is some of the best I’ve had in Tampa Bay (my opinion is based on living in Asia for a few years, not just local haunts). The sushi was lovely, light and fresh. Yellowtail sashimi was very tasty as well. Not a bad meal came across our table. Highly recommend swinging by this place for a taste of Asia.

Solid place been a few times never had any major complaints- food is good and service is kind and prompt- It’s a smaller location so not ideal for larger groups - the apps are tasty, we usually get the same platter. Main order is pineapple curry and sushi (sexy roll or anything with eel for me) Definitely so but I’d your craving sushi out Thai prices are a around $17 for specialty rolls but fair for everything else

So good. You can’t find a place that has Thai like this omg. I ordered so much food and everything was great I’ve ate here twice. The soup is great. I would order this soup if I was ever sick bc I feel like this is a hearty good warm soup that will help you feel better. I haven’t ordered anything from here that wasn’t good.

Great service. The food was ok. The fresh spring roll was cut into 6 and wasn't worth the price of one shrimp shoved into the roll and then cut into 6 pieces. The peanut sauce was amazing. The sushi was ok, not the best.

The food was phenomenal. It was 5 of us and we tried diverse dishes and everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The papaya salad is made without fish sauce and you could taste the lime, which I love. The broccoli in brown sauce was as good as expected.

The food here is great. The sushi is made fresh and is so good. The service is great. The only reason I don’t give the buffet a 5 is because the Crab legs are pretty bad. They are so over cooked that you fight for every bit of meat and they are so salty. If you are okay with not so fresh crab they keep them stocked.

So I've driven by this place many times but I never stopped there so tonight for the first time I stopped in and had dinner and I got to tell you this place does not disappoint! Even though I didn't get there until 8:00 p.m. the food was excellent! It was hot almost everything I ate was pretty fresh it was all very tasty and delicious! The hot and sour soup was excellent and all the different chicken dishes that I tried were phenomenal! The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the crab rangoon and the egg rolls They weren't terrible but they weren't my favorite but other than that this buffet is absolutely delicious and worth every penny! The service was good although when I asked for a refill On my Dr pepper the girl took my cup to refill it and never came back with it so I had to actually get up and go ask for it lol Also I downloaded the coupon for the free drink with the adult buffet and they still tried to charge me for the drink but when I pointed it out they immediately corrected the bill again that came down to the waitress, Even though she was a little ditzy she was a total sweetheart! The restaurant was very clean, The waitress kept up on all my finished plates, I highly recommend this buffet, I have eaten at the one up in Spring Hill and this one is just as good! I definitely give it five stars and I will definitely return It's now my favorite Chinese buffet! ❤️㊗️㊙️🈴🐲⛩️

This place is my go to for lunch. I've only had delivery and the food is warm and yummy every time. Delicious vegetarian dishes - potato samosas, vegetable pakora, Paneer Tikka, and of course the garlic naan. They offer a great vegetarian lunch special for $12.99, paneer butter masala/mixed vegi curry and other selections. The special comes with a samosa, rice and naan. I'm hungry now...lol

This place was recommended by a friend and they were right. The atmosphere and the service were great. The food was absolutely spot on. The flavors and spice were just right. If you’re sensitive to spice go with the mild and you’ll be fine. If you love spice, go for it!! Can’t wait to come back

Absolutely Excellent food and performance by our hibachi chef!!! Had such a great time!! So much excitement and energy from him!! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!! This guy definitely deserves a raise!!! Looking forward to visiting again and would love to be able to request him at the chef!! Cooked everything perfectly as well!!

I visited Kobe’s J today and had a wonderful experience! Our chef, Rain, was fantastic—super entertaining and cooked everything perfectly. I have a gluten allergy and our server, Ant, was incredibly kind and attentive. He made sure all my questions were answered and even double-checked to ensure everything was safe for me to eat. It’s not often I feel truly cared for when dining out with dietary restrictions, but Ant went above and beyond. Great service, great food, and a great time!

Really can’t beat the food and service here! The restaurant is owned by the sweetest family, who walk around to ensure you’re enjoying everything. The staff are very attentive and helpful for recommendations and questions. The food is delicious, large portions, and so affordably priced. If you haven’t visited yet, you definitely should! I’ve never had a bad item on the menu!

Food -- YES: Fresh fish, priced appropriately and perfectly plated to arrive as they were ready. An order of pad Thai was had the portion was tremendous. Another meal was made out of it. Glass noodle drunken chicken was ordered and another huge portion and very good tasting. Then we ordered 8 rolls. I was wow'd by one and enjoyed the others. We took some of the rolls home as the kids didn't particularly like them but fresh fish on the outside will do that for kids. I enjoyed it for a meal the next day. Ambiance -- OK: cute, clean and calm inside. Bathrooms were very clean and table/booth was wiped down and was not sticky. Lost part of the star for the rocking tables. We had two with our party of 7, and I was afraid waters were going to spill with every elbow resting on them. Service -- Needs Work: man if only we had a server. It was as though people ordered with them and when the food was delivered they disappeared. We were never checked in on after the food was dropped off in a reasonable amount of time- and get this, rolls kept coming and never were asked if we needed anything. It was just bizarre- like a robot made to do one task, order food then deliver. Order the Skittles (cucumber wrapped roll) and the Big Daddy. Skip the BodyBuilder as no one much cared for that one and frozen thawed spinach is not appetizing

Went tonight with my daughter, the fish was so fresh and everyone was so friendly! We needed a weekday break and this hit the spot. Loved all of the rolls, the tuna poke bowl, or pokie bowl ;) was maybe my favorite! Loved it! Will be back!

Fresh sushi and California rolls, nice presentation, pleasant service, a tad noisy but enjoyable dinner with friends.

You can already smell the spices when entering the tastefully decorated restaurant (greeted with a smile by the attentive staff). We just had appetizers - Samosa Chaat, Bombay Brussels, Pepper Fry Lamb - and Garlic Naan. It was great. We've enjoyed it a lot and will definitely be back for more.

Dinner was excellent. Very flavorful and delicious Indian. The Chettinand has such great flavors and seasoning. The samoas had just the right amount of spice. Service was great. Food came in good time. Can’t wait to go back and try more.

Do these reviewers think they ordered Nobu? This is a NEIGHBORHOOD CHINESE RESTAURANT, all of which are NOT created equal, and this China wok is EXCEPTIONAL. They are fast and consistent and the home made hot mustard, which costs a modest 50¢, will knock your socks off. Absolutely perfect ratio of flavor to pain, no notes. I am a die hard crab rangoon critic and they’re pretty good. Sauce is a little too liquid red-40 for my taste but the General Tso’s with noodles make up for any shortcoming. Is it spicy? Not really. Am I going to complain? No, because they give you about a bucket of it and again, if you’re not investing in the NECTAR that is homemade hot mustard, you’re doing this wrong and should have your review privileges revoked

Absolutely disgusted by this visit and the staff. Upon walking in the store, we noticed a man that seemed to be in urgent need of medical attention. The staff did nothing and laughed at a few patrons that mention/ and asked if they had call 911. They claimed they would. 5 minutes went by and they continued to take orders, and not call an ambulance. We ended up calling when they refused. Roughly 6 minutes after we called the paramedics, they showed up and luckily the guy was okay (as far as we know). THEIR INCOMPETENCE COULD HAVE KILLED THIS MAN. ANDDDD to top this all off they screwed up our entire order… Needless to say we will never be returning to this or any china wok. I wish I could give no stars…
