Pho 95 Vietnamese Cuisine
Best Vietnamese food I’ve had. The bun Bo hue was packed with meat and so flavorful. The coffee was delicious too. Service was excellent too. We were in a hurry and called ahead and they had it ready for us.
All the food made fresh and with care all dishes had good to Great flavor. Definitely eat pho here
Yaakuza Japanese Thai Fusion & Sake Bar
First time here and it was amazing! The service was great and the food was very good. We got the boat for 4 (pictured) which was MORE than enough for 5 people to share and you can sub out the rolls that come on the boat if you want which was nice. We started with gyoza, crab Rangoon, satay chicken and fried calamari. The entrees we tried were teriyaki chicken, chicken yakisoba, and spicy-Thai basil sauce with chicken. Each entree, including the boat, came with a choice of ginger salad or regular or spicy miso soup. Definitely will come back again!!
Sort of went here in a whim the other night when I was in town . Decent experience overall. Food took a bit of time but they were very busy for a Monday so it’s understandable. The appetizers from the kitchen came up pretty fast and they were extremely tasty . We ordered a total of six rolls and it took about 45 minutes or so to get them to the table. The flavor profile was unique and a cut above the rest . There are other sushi shops in Merritt Island, that are more expensive they don’t have the same level of detail in their flavors They seem to have a lot of to go orders. And the staff was super pleasant . All signs of a great restaurant. I would recommend this sushi place to anyone in town or if anyone stopping by from Cape Canaveral Most definitely worth your time
RICH ISLAND
Such a unique hole-in-the-wall find! Everything we tried was delicious and fresh. Our waitress was awesome! This place is a must try! I love the attention to details too... check out the stamped bun and the to-go bag.
Burgers, Wings, Chicken Tenders, and Fries All were fresh and delicious, and service was excellent. They grind their meat in house daily and make their sauces in house as well. You could tell the chicken was freshly breaded. You can also get a mix of regular and sweet potato fries, which I love. We dined in with a group of 8, and everyone loved their food. We also bought some bottled sauces because they were so good and at $6 a bottle you can't beat it. They even made and bottled them fresh for us. I should've gotten more photos, but we were starving and made quick work of devouring this yummy food.
Subway
*Update - This Subway is now OPEN after a recent remodel. New flooring, wallpaper and art. They did change the configuration of the ordering counter, not for the better, I think the line is going to get all clogged up at busy lunchtime. I usually only go when I get the sheet of coupons in the mail. *Also - bring back Swiss Cheese and Sweet Onion dressing that is NOT Teriyaki! I love Chinese food, but not on my sandwich!
The staff acts like you are a burden to them. The attitude is enough not to go back. If I am going to pay $30 for 2 subway sandwiches, the least you can do is be pleasant. I took the 2 cups to fill my drinks, put ice in, and then found out the iced tea was empty. My boyfriend doesn't drink the soda so I just got him water in the cup since I already had ice. I told the cashier, and she said I should have gotten a different cup and charged me $5.18 for the 2 drinks. So I should throw away a perfectly good cup to use a different plastic cup. Done with them and their attitude.
El Pueblo Magico Mexican Restaurant
First time to this Mexican restaurant and very happy with the visit. Sometime a small place hidden in a strip mall is gem waiting to be discovered, and this was the case with Pueblo Magico! The food is authentic, in fact our server was telling us about the little city in Mexico she was raised in….nice! The food was hot, fresh, and delicious!! We were not disappointed with anything! The service was fast and friendly and the Tacos were great as were the Sopes!! Highly recommend!
My friend and I stopped by yesterday for lunch and as soon as I walked in, I knew it was going to be delicious! I loved my tacos and the refried beans. I think that the salsas could have been a little spicier but that's just me! I'll definitely need to go back again soon.
Kim Bo Chinese Restaurant
You can't expect much from a $9.95 lunch special. But the staff could still be friendly. If you don't explicitly say lunch special, you get the same dish at a higher price. They tried that three times with their customers while we were sitting next to them (also with us). And you might expect there to be no bacon in the rice when you order a shrimp dish ;-)
Came to visit from Tennessee and went here based on the reviews online. We were not disappointed. Food was fast and fresh and tasted great! Will definitely be back 👍
A&M Atlantic Seafood, Inc
Go here! Find her! Eat this! THIS is just what I needed! Atlantic is a place to buy seafood where they will also cook a meal for you. Gretchen is fabulous! She kindly helped me with choices and was friendly and proficient. The lunch they prepared was battered catfish & shrimp with fries and two tasty sauces. The catfish & shrimp were amazingly fresh, moist, and flavorful. They came with cocktail & tarter sauces to top them off, yet their flavor was great without them. The sauces must be house made. They were so goood! The cocktail sauce was lightly sweet. The tarter sauce was savory. They are both thinner than usual and I liked it a lot. The fries had little or no salt. That allowed the flavor of the potato and oil to shine. The fries were crisp and creamy, which is my favorite combination. Every single bite elicited an involuntary "MMM" ! It was that GOOD! Chose lemonade. It's great without being overly sweet. I'm so glad I stopped here. The food was as good as you find at sit-down restaurants, with fast food convenience and a great price. This humble place NAILED IT!
First, things were going well. I ordered food for my great uncle and me and waited for it to be ready. I asked if the fish and shrimp lunch meal came with fries, and the lady in the front (Gale) said no. I ordered onion rings (which were ridiculously $7.00, but since my great-uncle wanted them...I got them). She brought my food out: one meal was correct, and one was wrong. I explained that I asked for the fish and shrimp meal and ordered onion rings because of what she said (the wrong meal came out with fries, which let me know it was wrong). She wanted to argue with me up and down about what I said. I decided to pay the difference in the meals so my uncle could get the shrimp (if it were up to me, I wouldn't give them a penny more). At that point, I was frustrated because my food was getting cold because the cashier had heard what she wanted. But it gets worse. I paid the difference with cash, but unfortunately, I didn't have the exact change. The owner takes my money, closes the cash register, and tries to walk off. I then called her back to the front and requested my receipt and my change. She gets an attitude and literally takes almost ten minutes trying to come up with a receipt and locating my change. The lady who couldn't take my order correctly and heard what she wanted returned to the front, trying to be snappy. I told them to just give me my money and my receipt so I could leave. The moral of the story is that not only can they not get orders correct, but they also try to be slick and keep your money. I won't be returning. I'm also thankful I didn't pay with my card because I don't trust them (they also still attach the debit/credit card fees). Also, if you are military, they don't provide discounts like everyone else in the area. I recommend driving a little further and supporting another local business.
Teriyaki Madness
I stopped by Teriyaki Madness for the first time, hoping for something quick but healthier than typical fast food. The place wasn’t busy—just a couple of people ahead of me, that had already ordered and was waiting for their food —but I quickly realized no one was acknowledging my presence, which hinted at a longer wait than expected. After patiently waiting, someone finally came to take my order. I asked for two protein bowls with fried rice, but I wasn’t asked about the size and ended up with large bowls by default. I suppose I looked like like a person who would order a large item. 😆 The to-go containers were sturdy, which was a nice touch. However, once I got to my car and started eating, the food was lukewarm at best, despite the long wait. The chicken and thinnly sliced beef was drizzled with teriyaki, but the rice wasn’t fried as expected—it was mushy, like steamed rice that had been sitting out. The veggies were warm and crisp, which was the only highlight. Teriyaki madness - where was the madness? Barely a drizzle over the top. Strange. While the meal looked decent, the taste and overall experience didn’t live up to the price. Between the lackluster service and the wait time, I’d have to give it two thumbs down. 👎 👎 I’m not sure I’d consider going back, nor would I recommend it. Disappointing overall.
Thank you, Leena... the food was amazing. My staff raved about your beef tips and orange chicken. My favorite was the teriyaki chicken and eggrolls. Everything was very tasteful and fulfilling. The food delivered on te and with great service and a smile. Thank you again.
Toyo Sushi & Asian Cuisine
The delicious food is so delicious that I can't wait to taste it again. Una don is my favorite. My daughter ordered the Twin Lobster Roll, she loved it. I highly recommend it.Very good, so delicious,I will be back.
The waiters were attentive and the food was amazingly tasty and fresh. The plates were beautifully designed and the teppanyaki scallops for lunch were my favorite and I always ordered this dish. The waiters always gave me triple the teppanyaki sauce because I loved it so much.
Brasas Grill Brazilian SteakHouse
It was truly worth the price! We loved their salad bar. They have a variety of options to choose from while waiting for the main steaks. Great service too. The parmesan pork was really good. That was new to us so we loved it. The meat was tender and the parmesan gave it the best flavor.
A good Place to eat on Merritt Island This is one of the option near to the Merrit Island Mall. It is on the south side of the road in a shopping center with a Harbor freight. There is plenty of parking in the shared parking lot. The restaurant is at the end of the line of stores that open onto the parking lot. This location has much to offer. It has a small drinking bar in the back left part of the open space. The decor seems nice with darker wood for the chairs and tables. There is a taco bar to the right as you enter and the kitchen is directly in front of the entrance. Seating is booths along the walls and tables in the middle. We visited for a friend’s birthday. Most of us ordered the taco bar but the birthday person and their dad ordered the Steak House Rodizio option. The chef came out at least 4 times with the various meats and it looked delicious so, even though it may be a little pricey at ~ $42/person, my friends seemed to be enjoying it. The dinner buffet option was very good and cost ~$18/person. The waitress and chef were both very friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend this eating option for others in the area.
Red Ginger Suntree
The perfect Father’s Day dinner. Red Ginger Suntree right over the river from the beach is a cozy, tranquil Chinese sit down restaurant and experience. Key Points: 1. Ambiance: Plenty of seating with a variety of areas and types of tables to suit all needs. 2. Service: The staff were very efficient and friendly! Always kept our drinks full and quickly accommodated our request for family style dining. 3. Menu and Food: The menu offers a variety of Chinese, Thai, and Japanese cuisine with a separate specials menu as well. They have a plethora of choices for different dietary restrictions. 4. Beverages: Offers cocktails, sake, wine. We tried their Handcrafted Mai Thai (3.5/5) 5. Price/Value: Our appetizers and entrees were delicious and worth the price especially for how big the servings are! Final Thoughts: - Highlight Moments and recommendations: Wonton soup was nostalgic and flavorful. Special menu appetizer soup dumplings were balanced and flavorful! The Mongolian beef was tender and exquisite, the whole tables favorite! - Rating or Score: 4.5 I look forward to coming back and trying more soon
Just ordered takeout for the first time from Red Ginger and this food is DELICIOUS. We got beef-on-stick, krab rangoon, and scallion pancake (OMG YUM) appetizers, orange chicken, and General Tso's chicken. Also pork fried rice. Delivery didn't take long either. This will now be our go-to for Chinese takeout, everything is so good.
Nosh Restaurant & Bar
Relaxed and welcoming place that has a good selection of sushi. It’s in a plaza next to a beach shop with parking in the front and back. I ended up opting for a Bento Box that came with some sashimi pieces, California roll, and some fried rolls along with Pad Thai. It was pretty filling and had a good variety. Service was friendly and the ambiance is pretty chill.
Second time at this place, amazing food, service is top notch and great atmosphere! If you are ever in the Cocoa Beach area make sure you stop by and have some great sushi and the cucumber/jalapeño margarita…..just yummmmm
