Little Buddha

372reviews

I always thought Thai food was good, so here I am. Little Buddha is a really good Thai restaurant. Everything is creamy with curry. The meat is juicy and sometimes crunchy. I really like this restaurant and I recommend it.

We visited for dinner and tried several dishes: chicken satay, Tom Yum soup, Gang Kuar Goong (curry shrimp), Gang Ped Yang (roasted duck), and fried banana. The overall taste was decent but not particularly memorable. The roasted duck is nice with its crispy texture and rich flavor, although the accompanying sauce was a bit too salty. The shrimp was fresh and enjoyable. However, the other dishes were just average. The price felt steep for its atmosphere—$7 for five tiny banana rolls and $19 for a small bowl of curry shrimp. Our total bill came to $80 including tips, which didn’t quite seem justified by the experience. Perhaps lunchtime might offer better value.

Village Gourmet Chinese Restaurant

141reviews

Simply amazing.... Every time. Follow @fairfieldfooddude on social media for all your food needs. Village Gourmet is located on Chestnut Hill Rd in the IGA shopping center. Their food is slightly more expensive than other local Chinese restaurants, but that is my only criticism and it doesn't matter because the food quality more than makes up for it. The wonderful staff and beautiful decor create a splendid culinary experience. Village Gourmet is open for dine-in, take-out and delivery via apps. Enjoy!

So I have to start by saying that this has been our favorite Chinese food place in Connecticut, every time my family comes from overseas the first meal they always ask for is from this restaurant. And while they stay here we order every other day. So we have tried many things on the menu and everything is highly tasty! I mean, it keeps you wanting more, even when you have leftovers it tastes delicious the following day. The sesame chicken is soooo good, crispy, sweet and very well done. The shrimp is amazing too, the one with mango is highly recommended as it has fresh cut mango. We truly love the place for sitting and take out. If you eat at the restaurant, expect high quality service, they just keep you happy from beginning to end. Definitely love this place.

Kampei

Kampei is a true gem! We went today for lunch and enjoyed a lovely meal. They offer green tea and refill whenever empty (very yummie). Our lunch specials were all awesome, great deals! The staff is extrem friendly and attentive. Cute place, it’s very cozy and clean. And the check comes with fortune comes which I love! Thank you guys

The food was pretty good. I just didn't like the mushrooms in my lo mein. The customer service was OK, definitely room for improvement there. Overall, it's a good place

Ocha Thai & Japanese Cuisine

313reviews

I always order Tom Yum soup at thai restaurants. This time it was no exception. But the soul is not as flavorful as I am used to.green curry chicken was pretty good. Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice were fine. Service was straightforward and food came pretty quickly.

I’ve been a customer of Ocha for over 10 years. Hands down the best, most consistent, fresh, clean and reliable restaurant in the game. Sue and her brother are absolute sweethearts and make the most incredible team. I’ve only the best to say about this restaurant. The food is so delicious and some of the best I’ve ever had!! Whether dining in, taking out or delivery — 1000% satisfaction!

Chutni Biryani & Noodle Bar

505reviews

They do not have goat anymore or Momos and the place was completely dead. They might be going out of business but I would definitely giving this place a go before it might close especially if you like spicy. Staff is very kind and the food comes large portions.

Chutni Biryani and Noodle Bar offers a mixed experience for diners. While the slow service and over-fried samosas might disappoint, the Gobi Manchurian shines as a flavorful highlight. Notably, their gravies stand out with rich and savory profiles, making them worth a try. Despite some drawbacks, it's a spot to consider for those craving quality Indian cuisine with a variety of flavors.

Amazing Japanese restaurant to get your sushi/ sashimi fix! A large range of choices available, even dim sum and pad Thai 😂Good to listen to the suggestions from the owners, all the recommended dishes are amazing. Cozy settings, reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend this place!

Incredible sushi. Never disappoints and is reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Kyushu Ramen and Sushi

462reviews

Ramen tasted pretty good, slighly salty, but very flavorful. The fried rice and pork buns were also descent. Service was straightforward.

Decent ramen place. I eat a lot of spicy food, the ramen that I ordered wasn’t spicy at all. Good chicken bao portion.

Kumo Ultimate Asian Cuisine Buffet

566reviews

I love to get sushi here! The variety is excellent, and the hot food station and make-your-own hibachi station are great. The hibachi is usually very tasty, and there are all sorts of noodles, meats, and veggies you can include. The dessert station is also very nice, with lots of ice cream flavors and other small desserts, as well as a large chocolate fondue. There is also a great selection of fruit, salad, and cold seafood. Most buffets seem stuffy or somewhat dirty, but Kumo is very clean! The staff is very friendly, and I love the waiter robot that serves your hibachi when it is ready! I highly recommend it for those who mostly eat sushi!

The buffet is not expensive but expansive, offering a wide variety of options. The sushi and sashimi station was especially impressive, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and creative rolls that rival those of specialty sushi restaurants. The hibachi station was another highlight, allowing you to customize your plate and watch your meal cooked right in front of you. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured that plates were cleared promptly. Highly recommend!

Bao - Ramen "Celebrity Chef Kitchen" Korean Fried Chicken - Mozzarella Corn Dogs in Downtown Stamford-Korean Seoul Food

30reviews

Such an amazing experience! The food was fresh & amazing. They gave our son an ice cream cone just to see him smile. My husband had the ramen and I had the Korean fried chicken- both were amazing!

I stopped by this place out of random, I am from Jersey so this is definitely not around the corner from this place , but when I tell you I AM SO GLAD I WALKED INTO THIS PLACE, small yet comfortable intimate spot - I had ordered the Spicy ramen and added bulgogi beef and chicken to it. This wasn’t food , it was an experience! THERE WAS SO MUCH FLAVOR to everything I WAS UPSET THAT I WAS ALREADY TOO FULL TO FINISH. But I will be back again !!!!

Little Thai Kitchen

Great Reception, service, food, atmosphere. Authentic taste of the food. We had vegetarian lunch special- spring rolls, thai salad, pad thai and grwen curey. Loved each ordered items and their sauces were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

I recently dined at Little Thai Kitchen and enjoyed a variety of dishes: dumplings, Pad Thai beef, Tom Yum soup, and sunken noodles with shrimp. The lunch special offered a reasonable price for the quality. The space is small but cute and very clean. The server was friendly, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. The dumplings were a highlight—delicious and well-prepared. The Tom Yum soup was a bit on the salty side, but still enjoyable. Overall, the food was tasty and satisfying. A great spot for a quick and enjoyable meal!

Mecha Noodle Bar

I will 100% stop here any time I’m in Stamford. Atmosphere was nice, music was good, anime on the tv in the corner (wish there was a second tv in the opposite corner). The Edamame were hands down the best I have EVER had anywhere. I also got the Tonkatsu Ramen and while it was very tasty, the pork was a little too fatty for my taste. The hibiscus soda was delicious as well. Wish I could go back again and try the sake flight and some pho. Ps get a Vietnamese coffee to go! At the bottom of the menu you also see that every bowl of ramen they donate .50 cents to the community which is really great to see!

Service was friendly and super helpful picking out a dish and cocktail. She was also very helpful telling me about some of the cool places to check out in the area. The noodles were really good and I could probably eat like 20 of the eggs that came in the soup. The food also came out quickly.

Sushi X2

590reviews

Probably the best value for money sushi in Fairfield county. Definitely the best value in Stamford. The ambience is alright not fancy at all but comfortable and clean. Sushi is very good quality they also have a good selection of hot dishes as well. All you can eat sushi for about $30 dollars, can’t really beat that. Pace yourself and if order accordingly they will make you pay full price if you don’t eat the majority of what you order or if you waste food. Staff are friendly and respectful. My only complaint is that they don’t have eel or shrimp on the sashimi menu and they get annoyed if I don’t eat the rice on the nigiri side, but no big deal.

been going here since my college days. food has tasted consistent, very delicious. best bang for your buck here in stamford. great selection of appetizers, sashimis and rolls, even though its AYCE. service is fast and the food never disappoints ❤️❤️
