Cactus Rose Restaurant & Tequila Bar
Very accommodating when we asked to be seated outside away from everyone as we had two kids who were hyper at that moment. The waiter was extremely nice and offered cotton candy for the kids at the end of the meal. The food was delicious and the salsa was fresh but the bottomless chips do not include the salsa FYI. Every part of the restaurant was decorated beautifully and I definitely got a Cali vibe from it all. Will be returning when in the area.
I was really excited to try this restaurant because of the good reviews. The moment I got there with my husband, he opened the door for me to enter the place and a waiter, without anything on his hands, thinks we the customers need to wait for him to go first instead of the other way around. Instead of him saying “thank you” because my husband basically open the door for him, he says “excuse me” with a very rude attitude. I don’t spend my money on places like this. I didn’t like the ambiance and the food look awful so before someone came to give us a table, we left. For the waiters, if you are expecting a 20% + tip, you need to actually provide a good customer service. For the restaurant, if you pretend to charge $30 + for a plate, the quality of your food needs to justify the price. I wouldn’t recommend this places at all. All the good reviews are probably fake.
Jordan's Restaurant & Pizza
$18 for a small tossed salad with grilled chicken? Ludicrous! Definitely not worth the price.. not a large but a small!! They need to put the prices online...
Totally disgusting. They have "homemade fried mozzarella" on the Menu. But it's definitely not homemade, and definitely not mozzarella, unless they brought back the government cheese. Fried calamari, was soggy and not cooked well. Pizzas, were terrible as well. Poor quality ingredients. Mushrooms from a can, pizza sauce that tastes like chef boyardee. Then they had the audacity to include a 20% tip for a party of four. Which I would have tipped more because the waitress can't help the employer is cheap and cuts corners but not costs
Little Nick's Pizza & Pasta
The pizza at this restaurant was incredible—crispy and soft crust, with just the right amount of char around the edges. The sauce had a perfect balance of tangy sweetness, and the cheese was melty and rich, pulling in long, satisfying strands with every slice. The toppings were fresh and high-quality, from the pepperoni that crisped up just right to the mushrooms that added a savory earthiness without overwhelming the flavor. The balance of ingredients on each pizza was flawless, with no single topping dominating the others. Every bite was a harmony of textures and flavors, from the crispy crust to the gooey cheese and zesty sauce. As for the customer service, it was equally impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations when asked. They made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal, checking in at just the right moments without being intrusive. The pacing of the meal was spot-on—our drinks arrived quickly, and the pizza was delivered hot and fresh. At the end of the meal, they even took the time to thank us for coming, creating a welcoming and personal experience. It felt like they genuinely cared about making sure our meal was perfect from start to finish.
I’m a tourist. I don’t live in the area...my impression is that Little Nick is a big D. If there’s another choice for pizza in Norwalk, CT area...Google it and go there. Just my opinion.
Adam's Rib Restaurant
It's fantastic to see that even after returning, this restaurant continues to exceed expectations. The way they present the food is simply remarkable, not to mention the delicious flavor. The customer service remains impeccable, showing that they maintain their high standard. Furthermore, the peaceful and joyful atmosphere in this restaurant truly enhances the overall experience. It's a place where you can truly relax and fully enjoy your evening.
Norwalk Inn's restaurant is a hidden gem! I couldn't get enough of their delectable cuisine. The fusion of flavors in every plate was a testament to the chef's talent and dedication
Mike's Ristorante
Not really sure what is going on here with all the great reviews! ( I did notice that some of the reviewers only have one or two reviews which is suspicious). Used to be better years ago but now that he doesn't have a menu your choices are limited. I always question a place when they have a bottle of wine sitting on the table, a bottle of water, and bread before you are seated. We tried his house made bottled red wine which was very syrupy. ( I was with a sommelier so this was her take on it). Needless to say we didn't finish the wine. The special spaghetti squash ravioli was very sweet. The parpadelle bolognese was served with overcooked pasta, and the veal was tough, although the sauce was very good. Needless to say, we won't be back. The owner/ server/busser is very friendly, though.
This place is wonderful, Nino is wonderful and really makes sure your dining experience is the best it can be. The food is amazing too! Most authentic Italian I think I’ve ever had
Spotted Horse Tavern
One of my favorite restaurants in Westport!! We had the veggie burger, Brussels sprouts and the eggplant with tomato and enjoyed every bite of it. Large portions for an okay price. Though it smells like a stable/barn in the restaurant it’s a very nice atmosphere. Would love to see more vegan options that have protein but still happy with the veggie burger. For sure coming back again.
This is your classic American restaurant with a large menu filled with options for appetizers, salads, wraps, burgers, bowls, and entrees. For appetizers we ordered the pretzel bread dip, and crispy brussel sprouts. As entrees, I got the KFC which is the Korean fried chicken with kimchi and pickled veggies. My friends ordered a healthy bowl, with options to add an egg or fried chicken on top. Food was very good! Portions were absolutely HUGE. I left feeling very stuffed and very much needing a nap. The meal was very hearty and comforting, but quite on the heavy side.
Saffron Indian Cuisine
The best Indian food restaurant in the US. It is like home cooking, visiting my relatives in India. But right down the street! Great selection. High quality ingredients. Great for gluten allergies. Very nice atmosphere. Friendly local owners.
Pinky, the waitress, was really kind, welcoming, and helpful. Her recommendations for customizing the spice levels of each of the dishes we ordered were greatly appreciated and turned out just right for all members of our party. She was patient in answering our questions about the menu and explaining what the different dishes were. The food came out quickly and smelled amazing. The naan and paratha were some of the best that we've had. Portions are fair for the price, and the ratio of meat to sauce was generous. If we were to go back, we'd recommend asking to reduce the amount of salt in the dishes as some were too salty.
Salvadoreño Restaurante EL CHELE
The pupusas are amazing, and even though the menu offers a great diversity of Central American fare, we came here for the Salvadoran dishes. The ingredients were fresh, service was quick and friendly, and everything we tried was delicious. This is by far our favorite Salvadoran restaurant, and we hope to return soon.
Good food and service with friendly staff. Price is also very reasonable.
Sunshine Cuisine
Food was super tasty and the staff really friendly. I would recommend going not on Monday. You can call ahead to make sure they have what you want!
The female working there tonight with the bonnet and glasses on her head was extremely rude. I was there to pick up a door dash order including trying to get myself something to eat as well. She asked me if I was there to pick up an order. I said yes door dash the customer that she was assisting before I came in heard me say yes door dash and even repeated she still did not hear. If she was professional she would have completed taking care of the current customer gave me her undivided attention and been able to hear what I was saying. I repeated door dash again with a higher pitch tone and she began being combative telling me I don’t need to scream which I was not I projected my voice since I was asked 4 times to repeat myself. This person who is here if she does not know how to conduct herself in a professional manner there is no need for her to be there serving the public.
Tiger Bowl Restaurant
Tiger Bowl- Southport, CT Tiger Bowl is a small, intricately designed Chinese Restaurant located on the Southport-Westport border on Post Rd next to Michael's and Village Bagels. The service is impeccable service is unmatched but the food is what takes this place to the next level. There are dozens of Asian Restaurants in the area, but the freshness, and unique combination of herbs, spices and cooking techniques makes Tiger Bowl stand out. The fried chicken delights(IE Sesame, General Tso, Lemon, Orange, etc) are unlike your standard chinese fair. Unlike other restaurants the crispy fried chicken is crispy on the outside, but magically soft in texture on the inside. There is a certain fluff to the inside of the chicken, almost similar to a corn dog batter. The soups are perfect for a cold winter's day, and the beef dishes shine as well. My only critique is with the bonelesss ribs and spare ribs. Thought cooked nicely the sauce is a bit heavy and way too sweet. In an area oversaturated with restaurants this is THE Go-To for delicious Chinese food for the whole family. They currently do not allow guests to dine in(thanks Covid) but are available for takeout and delivery 7 days a week.
First I tried my wings and they were gross and had no flavor but I was willing to let that go until then I opened my food and there was a spiral piece of silver something in my boneless spare ribs so I just had to leave a review. The food is really not that great and not worth the gamble of getting things in your food. Would definitely not recommend
Norwalk Inn
Norwalk Inn offers a delightful combination of excellent food and a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The dining experience was the highlight of my stay. Every dish was prepared with care, and the flavors were exceptional. Breakfast was my favorite, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a variety of options to suit any taste. The ambiance of the dining room was cozy and relaxing, making meals even more enjoyable. The Inn itself is conveniently located, offering easy access to local attractions, yet it feels like a peaceful retreat.
The company had a holiday party here! The food was delicious, the service was great, everyone had an amazing time, rooms were reasonably priced and very clean, front desk and planning staff were very accommodating. Thank you, Debbie, for all your hard work to help us celebrate the holidays!
Haven Hot Chicken
Had a Garlic Parmesan Chicken sandwich. It was very good. Hot food hot. Fresh. Could use a little more of the garlic parm flavor. Still very good. Banana pudding - ok. Not enough banana pieces or vanilla wafers in it. Service was friendly and efficient. Thank you.
Daniel’s service was amazing he’s so knowledgeable on the menu the food was just right. I came in with my friend and mentioned it was her birthday and he made her feel special.
