F3 Food Truck- Food, Friends & Fun
F3 Food Truck is a fantastic new addition to the area! We tried the plain dosa, street-style egg fried rice, street-style egg noodles, and the chai tea, and everything was absolutely delicious. đ€€The flavors were authentic and satisfying. The food truck is well-organized, and the area around it is clean and inviting. The music playing adds a nice touch to the atmosphere. Thereâs a convenient area to sit and enjoy your meal, or you can easily take the food to go. Just keep in mind that thereâs a 10-15 minute wait once you order, but itâs worth it because everything is cooked fresh. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. Friendly service and great food make this spot a must-visit. Highly recommend! đđ
This new food truck is a great spot for Indo Chinese fusion! Their menu has some great choices, and the chicken Manchurian was especially delicious. They did a great job of making a seating area behind their truck with nice lights and even a heater. Very reasonable prices and fantastic food. Perfect for a quick meal!
I Luv PHO Vietnamese Noodle House
Best pho I ever had. Didnât even need the condiments but it enhanced it. 10 out of 10 meal! Comforting and so flavorful. Fried chicken was one of a kind also. I plan on gatekeeping this spot as long as I can lol.
Nice peaceful pho place. Easy to park. Very clean, and the service was nice.
Linâs Kitchen
Lin's Kitchen has been, without a doubt, the most authentic Chinese restaurant I've come across during my many years in Connecticut. Whether it's for birthdays, anniversaries, or special holidays, this is always my top choice. The dishes here are truly authentic, far beyond the level of typical takeout places. I genuinely love the food here, and it's the reason I confidently recommend it to friends.
The food was excellent, but the service was disappointingly slow, despite me being the only customer at the time. To make matters worse, the owner declined our 15% tip because it didnât account for sales tax. Itâs worth noting that tipping is traditionally calculated before tax, and it felt inappropriate to be pressured into increasing the tipâespecially given the subpar service. I would not recommend this place if good service is a priority for you.
Mai Thai Restaurant - Thai & Ramen & Asian Food & Boba Bubble Tea Drinks
I have been seeing this restaurant on my fb and I have been wanting to eat thai food good thing we are near the area this morning so we decided to have lunch here and they didn't disappoint. đ While waiting for our order they gave us lemon water. I told my husband that they can just give us a plain water but they decided to put lemon in it. I appreciate that. I love everything that we ordered. No doubt why they are top rated. They are very attentive and polite. And I like the vibe of the place. We will come back next time to try other dishes. đ
My initial and only visit to Mai Thai Restaurant was pleasant. Service was pretty good. Their menu is pretty extensive in dishes they offer along with their drinks menu. Prices are affordable. Their plating presentation is very appealing to the eye when served-only thing âcatchyâ to me. Pallet wise for me, it was âclassicâ as I chose common dishes Iâd typically have upon trying a new place for the first time. Nothing stuck out/wowed me in uniqueness taste wise that Iâd want to visit often.
STRADA Trattoria Italiana
We are visiting from Charleston SC for a music festival and we were craving Italian food. Strada was absolutely delicious, not only that the staff was incredible. Please give them a try! You wonât regret it!
Food is excellent! Giuseppe (owner) is a great host, very friendly, and makes excellent cocktails! The food, music, and atmosphere is very Italian authentic. Highly recommend - been back several times and have had consistent service. Will go again!
China Pavilion
First, I want to say that I haven't eaten at China Pavilion. I was however having a children's birthday party a couple of doors down. When it came time to cut the birthday cake and serve it to my guests I found that I did not have any forks. Without any other options I canvased the area and noticed that China Pavilion was close. I had to swallow my pride and walk in and ask if there was a way that I could purchase some plastic wear from them for my guests. I suggested even just leaving a tip. The gentleman at the front desk said that was unnecessary and asked me how many I needed. He would not take any money in return. I would say the service in this restaurant is awesome. And I definitely will be going to China Pavilion in the future for a meal. The customer service has to be amazing if they helped me out and I wasn't even a customer.
So many people recommended but Indian people will not like this place because we used to eat indo Chinese and the taste is totally different than the regular Chinese food. Moreover the staff was not friendly we asked few questions but they were not happy to answer the questions. We asked for vegetable tofu and it was really bad, tofu must be soft but it was soooo chewy. So overall Not a good recommended place if you are a vegetarian.
Noodle House
Food was awesome.. one think I really like their menu is HALAL. Yes I will go back again By looking at my pictures you tell food was great đđđ
After a long while, we recently visited this place again and overall had a pleasant dining experience. The appetizers were a highlight, being both flavorful and beautifully presented. The noodle salad, in particular, stood out for its creativity and deliciousness. However, the bubble tea was a bit disappointing; it tasted bland, and the bubbles were soggy. As for the ramen, it was nice but not as impressive as it used to be. It seems like there's been some deterioration over the past few years, leading to a slightly less flavorful and less carefully prepared meal compared to the past. Despite these minor issues, I still rate it 4 stars and will definitely return. A bit more attention to detail and flavor would make this place perfect again!
KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot
Our first time here celebrating the night before a college pal's wedding. We were a huge group who occupied the buffet area on a packed Friday night. Once other customers tables were done, we sat down and staff was efficient as the night went on. We were at a table with six other people who have never tried Korean Hot Pot. It was cool to explain what to do and had a fun experience throughout the night
The service was fantastic. This was my very 1st time here with my girlfriend and I cannot be more happy. Our waitress/server Michelle explained the options clearly and professionally. She also kept up with all of our wants and concerns leading to an exquisite dining experience.
Bangkok Room
When arriving at Bangkok Room, be mindful that you have to park on the street, but it is well worth the inconvenience. Since it is not too far from the water, it can be a little drafty in the colder months, especially because most of the seating is by windows, if not outdoors. The waitress was friendly and attentive, making sure to answer any of our questions and that all guests in the restaurant were satisfied. While dining, it became evident that this is a local favorite for takeout as most customers were picking up food rather than dining in. The food itself was generously portioned for the price, delicious, and the spice levels were customizable to an individual's preference. Two things to take note of would be if you have sensitivities to coconut, as that allergen is not consistently denoted on the menu, and if you add meat to a dish, expect an additional charge. While all of the food was phenomenal, the Kui Chai (vegetable pancake) was a particular favorite as it was reminiscent of Chinese Dim Sum. If we were to go back, we would probably order several appetizers instead of a full meal as the appetizers were more filling than we thought they would be and pleasantly different from other places we have visited in the past.
Reviews brought me here and I am so pleased with my experience. Ambiance is 10/10. It was a Tuesday night, close to closing time and I was 20 minutes away from Milford, but was looking for good Thai. I called in advance to ask if I can dine in, and it sounded like it was just too late but it was okay with me. However, when I arrived, they had accommodated my request and was able to have a sit down dinner with my spouse. He ordered a Fried Rice (Spicy dish-can't recall the name) and I ordered the sesame chicken. Both were very, very delicious. We also ordered a steamed snapper (a whole snapper- that was $32) to go which was really delicous. We are definitely returning to try more off the menu and to experience a Friday/Saturday night. Highly recommend.
Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar
Hook & Reel never fails to satisfy our seafood boil cravings. We used to visit twice a month because the food is consistently fresh and delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. The atmosphere is always lively and welcoming, making it a great spot for family dinners or casual outings with friends. Their seafood is cooked to perfection, and the flavors are truly unbeatable. The Hook & Reel special sauce is the star of the showâperfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice and tang, it elevates every bite. Even though itâs harder to dine out as often these days, Hook & Reel remains one of our go-to spots whenever weâre craving an indulgent and satisfying seafood feast!
This most recent trip was the worst experience I have had at this restaurant. Tremaine was our server and he was friendly in the beginning, but that wore off soon after. I ordered one pound of king crab legs and a half pound of scallops. I received the photo attached. I had asked the chef/food busser if the crab legs were king crab legs and he had confirmed they were. I asked Tremaine if they were king crab legs and also if it was a pound of crab legs and was told a few different things such as they were pre portioned, legs can be different sizes, legs had to be broken in order to fit in the pot, etc. The 4 legs were received in pieces and not a cluster like I have received in the past. They were also very small and pre cracked. The meat was very stringy and tasted frozen. I have ordered king crab from here before and the meat was always very sweet, supple, and fresh. I felt like I received scraps from the bottom of the freezer. I paid market price of $59 for a pound of king crab legs. I was being watched as I was paying on the tablet. I did not tip on my card, and Tremaine gave us a very rude glare once I completed payment. He did not say anything to us or acknowledge us on the way out of the restaurant. I am so disappointed in this restaurant and how the quality has gone down. We will not be returning in the near future.
Hokkaido Ramen
Hokkaido is my wifeâs and my go-to spot for a quick ramen fix. While it might not fully compare to the ramen weâve tried in Asia, it still hits the spot every time. We dine here regularly and savor every sip and bite of the flavorful seafood ramen and my wifeâs rich, shoyu ramen. The place is run by a wonderfully warm and friendly family, which adds a personal touch to every visit. The atmosphere has a cozy, homey vibe, like enjoying a bowl of soup made with love. Whether weâre looking for comfort food or just a satisfying meal, Hokkaido never disappoints!
Stopped in for a bite on our way north. Food was excellent, service was good, restaurant was clean. They brought my food out first (bulgogi) and we had to wait about 5 minutes for the ramen to be served. Luckily mine was served on a cast iron plate which kept everything hot but I would have preferred everything come out together.
Nice Day Chinese | West Haven CT
I'm a loyalist to our mom and pop Chinese food place here in West Haven, so much so that I bought a t-shirt from them. Having said that, this place blew my socks off. The sesame chicken was not oversauced, was crispy, flavorful and fresh. I'm not entirely sure if it was the type or the cook of the white rice, but I loved it more than my usual from other places. The interior of the takeaway counter was white napkin level clean. Sauces and cutlery were easily available, the staff was friendly and helpful. The online ordering was a little challenging but I was able to figure it out and my order was ready in less than the 10 minutes it took for me to go pick it up. All in all, I think I've found a new favorite place to get Chinese food from.
Wow phenomenal food, so fresh. Had egg rolls rice, soup and spicy chicken. I can't wait til next time visiting. The place is so cute as well I love the hand painted touches! Totally recommend this place for a snack or even full dinner. Very nice people too!
