Open Rice poke bowl
I love the poke bowls here—they’re made with incredibly fresh fish and are generously portioned. If you’re in the mood for something different, there’s a fantastic variety of options; I tried the Mongolian beef today, and it was excellent. Don’t miss the homemade crackers—they’re absolutely delicious! Very traditional.
The first time visit One rice poke bowl and take out. The food was amazing there, especially Sashimi. Poke bowl was my first time eating it. It was high quality and great amount. Highly recommended.
Asiana Bistro
I recently visited Asian Bistro and had mixed feelings about my experience. I ordered the Tom Yum Gong, but it was surprisingly bland and lacked the bold flavors I was hoping for. The Lobster Avocado Roll was a highlight--definitely good and enjoyable. However, the Kung Bo from the Red China dish didn't impress and felt a bit average. While the atmosphere was nice, I found the prices a bit steep for what I received. Overall, I was hoping for more from a place that claims to offer authentic Asian cuisine, so I may think twice before returning.
Asian bistro very nice place very cozy inside and work is very nice guys so if you like some food from Asian so if you recommendation come here if you like some sushi or something this fish or like something like special so just come here take your friends and sit inside is very nice very cozy atmosphere
Shanghai Gourmet
THINK TWICE before spending here. Not exactly sure why, especially being a minority-owned business itself, but this establishment made me feel so bad, embarrassed, and with an overall bad taste in mouth. I ordered PLATTERS of food with them ($200+), and this day was no different. Previous times including the last order, I use my card over the phone. This time, however, I came to use my card and the said I needed ID. This was never the case before then she tried to make up a false story, which at that point I was over, and I just took the food and left. It also wasn’t as good as previous times and missing some items. We should treat everyone equally and also maintain standards across the board, especially food quality. I would stay far away if I were you.
Best Chinese food in Norwalk and I've tried them all. The chicken with broccoli is especially good and this has become my go to in the area
Shiki Hibachi & Sushi
Excellent sushi. The food was very good. The atmosphere of Hibachi looked very fun. In this opportunity it was a special dinner. But we will repeat the experience
Delicious hibachi food, super fun, friendly cooks, wonderful experience, lots of free parking in front. Kids menu too. Youve to make a reservation.
Viva
My favorite Peruvian restaurant. The food is always delicious. I’ve eaten almost all their dishes and none have disappointed. I try to go back every time I’m in CT. Highly recommended
Amazing and food. Highly recommend! Great experience check it out. Plenty of food.
Ninja Bubble Tea-Ramen- Pho-Korean BBQ Restaurant-Mozzarella Corn dogs--#1 Pumpkin Spice Chai Bubble Tea +46 Flavors
I had such a wonderful time at Ninja Bubble Tea! This small, unassuming spot is truly a hidden gem and absolutely worth a visit. Despite being a bit of a hole in the wall, it was packed with people, and the atmosphere was lively and inviting. The decor brought me a wave of nostalgia—it reminded me of my childhood bedroom, with all the vibrant posters and quirky accessories adorning the walls. It’s such a fun and cozy vibe! The food and drinks were just as impressive. I can’t say enough about the coconut milk tea—it was absolutely delicious and quickly became a favorite of mine. I’ve visited twice now, once with my friend from New York and another time with my sisters, and both experiences were fantastic. The service was consistently great, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Ninja Bubble Tea has definitely earned a spot on my list of go-to places. I’m already looking forward to stopping by again for more food and drinks! If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this little treasure.
Decor was a bit, homely. Was pretty all over the place. Think the menu should be shrunk down to cater something they excel at. I think restaurants should be places people go for specific dishes, 'the best of X' sort of deal. No one goes to a Chinese place for pizza sort of thing. This place probably could do this with the assorted pancake or bahn mi. Had the bibimbap, assorted pancake, fruit smoothie and bulgogi beef banh mi. Liked the pancake and banh mi. The bibimbap was okay. Each of the sides around the rice were kind of bland. Like they were a bit old so the flavor became mild. Could use sharper kimchi, more sesame flavor on the bean sprouts, more acidic pickles. Thankful for the gochujaang, it sort of needed it. The bubble teas were okay. The bubble weren't fresh so they didn't have the supple chewiness stores that special in bubble tea only strive for. I think the store tries to do too much so the quality suffers. Should just focus on a few things that are fresh. Really I don't know what kind of store this is. Is it bubble tea? Vietnamese? Korean? Japanese? I put in the place in my Google maps and the my car rambles on that directions to 'Ramen-Pho-Korean BBQ- Mozarella Corn dogs, #1 Pumpkin spice' etc etc. That's too much. That's not even a name. All for expansion to cater to audiences, but you can't please everyone. People go to bubble tea stores for good drinks, fresh tea and bubbles, not syrup and powder. People go to Korean BBQ restaurants for good Korean. And Vietnamese restaurants for good bahn mi and pho. You don't go to Chinese for pizza. Service was quick and nice. Very friendly people persons. If the restaurant is doing great (as suggested by such high star rating and number of reviews) then great; but in my opinion, the huge menu suggests that the restaurant is trying to reach other audiences to expand business. I think it should just be a really good X store. People will go to the really good X store when they want X.
Darien Hunan Kitchen
While this is an Asian fusion restaurant that covers staples from several countries I have to say I had some excellent sushi there last night. I ordered the yellowtail jalapeno appetizer and had toro and raw scallop sashimi which they torched and smoked. It was all excellent. They also offered an omakase menu which I will be sure to try next time. Very impressed and wasn’t expecting it to be this good. Fish was incredibly fresh and well prepared and seasoned. Will be going back - a lot!
Absolutely delicious! I have been on a hunt for amazing authentic Chinese food and finally found it. Reminds me of the childhood fried rice I used to eat. Sesame chicken was delicious and made with white meat. Dumplings were great!
Merengue Restaurante
We tried mofongo and was good, but the service could be better. The girl who answered the phone has no manners in taking customers calls, after I placed my order she just hung up on me. Not even said thank you, I had no time to ask how long to pick up or how much was it.
Love the food, the place and all the staff is very helpful and lovely. I highly recommend to come any day of the week with the whole family. And Saturday/Sunday the grown up vibe is also amazing. 🤩
Tawa Indian Cuisine & Event Hall
We ordered Indo-chinese. All the items were requested spicy, but they sent spice level 1. chicken manchurian gravy had no gravy at all. Added pic.
An authentic Indian restaurant. Food is amazing. They have hookah too . And in the other side they have bar . Big parking lot in front. They also have some outdoor seating area . Highly recommended.
The J House Greenwich
Nice hotel with modern amenities. Very clean as well and a welcoming staff. The only disappointing thing was the breakfast. For spending about $400 for a night (after taxes + fees), it was very underwhelming. Stale granola, selection of small pastries... would think they would have provided a little more for the price of the room. Otherwise, would recommend!
Haven't even checked out yet but wanted to leave this review. This place is a find. We had some business in Stamford but didn't want to stay in town so tried here. The hotel is beautiful. Apparently there is really no limit to how nice you can make an old Howard Johnsons. The rooms are super comfortable, especially the beds. I had a room closest to the highway so I could hear some traffic but it isn't bad at all. The high-tech stuff in the rooms was actually nice and not complicated. I was worried that this place might be trying a little too hard from reading reviews but that isn't the case at all. And what I didn't expect was for Tony's to be such a great restaurant. This is legit good Italian food and the outdoor terrace is a great garden setting. We got back from work late last night and the kitchen had closed but Tony himself (great guy) went back to the kitchen and pulled a few things together for us. Overall great experience here.
Little Thai Kitchen
I recommend the Crispy Fried Tofu, Basil Eggplant and mee Grob. The chicken satay is so big, like big chicken tenders, the outside tasted like satay but the inside is bland. The fried spring rolls ate not good, the crispiness is the only thing it’s going for it. Basil Beef is good, i tried medium spice level and it wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would be but the dish barely tasted like basil, it tasted really good but not just basily. I am staying away from carbs so you can but everything tasted like it had sugar in it, which is common for Thai dishes but this is less sweet compared to other Thai restaurants I've tried before. Food is great, you just need to know what to order.
Service was exceptional! Friendly staff, attentive and accommodating. Food was reasonable and tasty.
The Cos Cobber
Can't beat the place for its location. The restaurant is a one minute walk from the Strickland Road Historical District and also a mere one minute walk to the Sachem Nature Preserve. Noticed that our fellow guests were all regulars who were warmly greeted by the staff. There is ample outdoor seating. We had the crab cakes with sweet potato fries and the Cos Cobber salad. The crab cakes were just OK(hardly any crab meat), but the sweet potato fries were quite good. Didn't take any pictures of the food except for the iced tea and lemonade.
Their lunch specials prepared by chefs Alex are culinary delights! Great low key atmosphere and simply great service!
