Great Wall Restaurant
Probably some of the best sesame chicken I've ever had to be honest! Sauce was great, chicken was crispy and hot. Also tried some of my brother inlaws general tso bean curd and it was good too~ I also did get Crab Rangoon which was freshly fried, and it was nice, though I ended up focusing more on my chicken cuz it was too good to ignore. Nice little place to stop in and grab some good Chinese food. (While there is fans and seating inside, it can get a hot without much AC)
Food is very good; staff very friendly. Pricing is very fair. I love getting food from here!! So glad I gave it a try!!
Taste of China
Went here with my parents this evening, as they were curious about the place and it was a good choice. The place has a nice atmosphere, the service is pretty fast and the servers attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, definitely would come again! đ
Interior was good and clean. Service was... Slow and bad. Ordered a few things on the menu such as Chicken with cucumber. When we got our dish, they put celery in it instead of cucumber! They didn't even notify us that they didn't have cucumber in stock and decided to make that order anyways! We ask why they still made it for us, and their response was nothing, not even an apology. The food was also extra salty. Only thing I enjoyed there was the beef and tripe dish. Give this place a try, if you want to try something new. But I won't be going back here.
Cheng's Gourmet Restaurant
I recently relocated to Suffield from Rhode Island and am an avid enthusiast of Chinese cuisine. After conducting extensive research on the local dining scene, I decided to visit this establishment despite initial reservations. To my surprise, the flavors were exceptional, the portions were generous, and the prices were remarkably affordable. This experience challenged my preconceived notions about the cost of quality Chinese food. I highly recommend trying their dishes.
It's decent. Food is average. There's better Chinese food, but not in Suffield. Service is hilariously unfriendly, but I don't think anyone orders takeout to make friends.
Main Kitchen Chinese Restaurant
Iâve stopped ordering from here. Not because of the food, which was good, but because of the delivery driver. I always add a tip while ordering, before the foodâs even been delivered. But the new driver always would knock repeatedly at the door. As if he needed to use the bathroom or something. The 1st time he apologized and said he had many deliveries, the second time he apologized and said it was cold, the 3rd time (which I purposely didnât pre-tip) when I opened the door I told him there was no need for him to knock on my door the way he did. That I heard him the 1st time and that there was no need to knock 9 more times on my way to the door. I told him no tip. I live in a 4 family house and the walls are thin. Thereâs no need for a delivery driver to knock repeatedly 9 times within a matter of 15 seconds. Iâm just gonna go somewhere else for my Chinese food from now on.
Absolutely disgusted with the food! It was inedible and when I called to express they forgot an item and how disgusting the food was, I was told itâs because itâs a holiday and to try them another time. What type of answer is this when you are charging full price? They have permanently lost my business. I am shocked at the quality of food they put out tonight.
Cheng's Chinese Garden
This chinese place absolutely slaps. The waitress was a beast! My mother asked her multiple questions, and our waitress didn't even hesitate with a response. She was "locked in" as they say. I also absolutely loved the chinese wall. It was so cool and colorful. Now I kinda want one! I will definitely return.
Wanted something spicy and this was the only Asian food in a 2 mile radius. We were on a long drive and didn't want to go hunting for another restaurant. So Cheng's Chinese Garden it was. The menu had the usual American Chinese fare (General Tsos, Beef and Broccoli etc.) but there was a section that looked promising - the names of the dishes hinted at the more traditional Chinese dishes. We order egg drop soup and hot and sour soup to start. They didn't disappoint. The main course was a dry beans dish and a pork and cabbage "spicy" dish. The dry beans dish was just outstanding! Such a simple dish. Prepared with some pickles (not the ones you are thinking of) that added a bit of extra taste - made the dish worth recommending. Definitely try it. The pork dish was tasty but more sweet than spicy. Not overly sweet like sweet and sour dishes but unmistakably sweet. We asked for some chillies sauce on the side but that didn't help the dish much. It was not bad by any means. Just not the spicy we were craving. Service was fast and friendly. The soup came out non sooner than we finished ordering. The restaurant is clean and the decoration in unmistakably Chinese. If some one walked you in there with blindfolds on and you would know instantly what to expect when your blindfolds came off :-).
Peking Express Restaurant
The food is always great I like the crab Rangoon and their dumplings also I really enjoy the tea they have started adding to delivery orders
I usually order either the General Tao or Orange Chicken, along with a combo. Everything taste good and this place is always my first pick. No one has better rice or crab rangoon either. Plus there are other things like donuts, French fries, chicken nuggets!?
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
Customer service was awful. Food was terrible. They gave 4 shavings of steak and charged 15 dollars for what looked like leftover noodles and rice when all I ordered was lo mein. Calling about it was met with a hysteric woman screaming at me. Go somewhere else for so many reason
I've been ordering from Great Wall for a long time, they're the best when it comes to taste and bang for your buck. They deliver pretty quickly, tho I am only 3 miles from them.
Zheng's Chinese Restaurant
One of the worst Chinese spots I've ever had. They're nothing like the ones back in New York. New York Chinese so fat, is exponentially better !! The general tso's chicken is too big to bite when hot and it's kinda mushy. It should be kinda crunchy !! The yellow rice I had looked off. I didn't like how it looked. Take my advice and down size your general tsos chicken, then make it crunchy !!
Really great food for a great price!!! Guy at the front is always polite and friendly with customers. He even brought the food out to the car for my grandmother. Food is really tasty and you get what you pay for.
Hong Kong House
Rice has no flavor and the dumplings are made in a different type of wrapping and itâs very off . Only nice thing is they deliver but the food isnât worth it .
I loved them but I just found a very hard substance in my food was being nice even after I recognized it was a pebble or rock of some sort in my food. When I called the lady acted as if I was speaking clearly enough. I said when and what I ordered and told her exactly what I found. After that she was oblivious to everything I was saying. I have a family I can be feeding my people this food and they could have ate that swallowed it and got sick or kids I'm highly upset with them. I spent $34 to almost be potentially sick and eat a rock? To then explain myself to them tonfeel like I'm the crazy one? Okay
Double Dragon Chinese Restaurant
I've had many great Chinese food orders from different restaurants but double dragon is by far my favorite. The food is amazing, hearty portions and great customer service.
I recently tried their food and had a mixed experience. I ordered sesame chicken and egg foo young. The egg foo young was decent, but the sesame chicken tasted off, and the rice wasnât great either. When I went to pick up my order, the guy seemed bothered when I asked for oil sauce, which cost a dollar eachâdefinitely felt unnecessary. I tried to pay with my card for the sauce, but he insisted on cash. Didnât have cash instead he gave me hot sauce packets and said âitâs all the same idk why everyone wants that, itâs all the sameâ When I realized my egg foo young combo didnât include a drinkâonly an egg rollâI asked if it came with a drink. He smacked his lips and seemed annoyed, telling me it didnât come with one. Overall, I wouldnât recommend this place. Sun Sun Chinese offers better food and doesnât charge for oil sauce.
New China
Came out of work after a 10 and a half hour shift and was so hungry decided to try this place since my regular was SO unfortunately for me closedđ and omg Iâm not even joking So nasty!!! never again! The place was filthy that shouldâve been the first red flag but I still decided to give âem the benefit of the doubt and try it cause you canât always judge a book by itâs cover but then I got my food and There was like black specks on my chicken theyâre a little hard to see but they are there no doubt no clue what it was it didnât look like char at all not that that would be ok either but it definitely wasnât that. then the crab ragoons were so disgusting the inside was a mess and they were SO GREASY legit dripping down my handđ˘ plus they came with tartar sauce?? I thought that was weird⌠but thatâs besides the pointđ¤ˇââď¸ and I LOVE crab Rangoons normally Iâm so mad I even wasted my money and after a long day at work what a let downđ just praying I donât have food poisoning tomorrow not even trying to be mean but do better that isnât even right seriously shouldâve went and got my money back! sheesh what a mess I hope this place has a turn around đđ¤Śââď¸đ¤Ž
Love this place I refuse to order from anywhere else, been ordering from them for almost two years!
China City
Exceptional! First Chinese restaurant in the Enfield area to truly impress me. Fried shrimp were large and perfectly breaded and fried, sweet and sour chicken was plump and meaty, crab Rangoon had real chunks of crab. They loaded me up with extra sauces in a neatly packed bag with air tight containers! If my next visit is anything like my first, I will be a regular in no time! Thank you for a delicious dinner and keep up the good work!
Awful, just awful. Kung Pow chicken is supposed to be spicy. The menu even âwarnsâ you itâs spicy. But the Kung Pow these people make has zero spice. None. In fact, it barely has any flavor. Same with their szechuan beef. Supposed to be spicy, and the menu says it is spicy. But it has no spice at all. Barely any flavor at all. The beef is also of questionable quality. Their chicken fried rice (with egg) is, like the rest of the food, horrendously bland garbage. I can only assume this place is a money laundering operation, because I refuse to believe enough people actually like the food to keep the place running. Anyone who likes this place has zero clue what Chinese food is actually supposed to taste like. No one cooking at this restaurant should ever be allowed near a kitchen again, unless the purpose is to torture people with terrible food.
