Absolutely amazing food! The staff is very nice and the food was incredible! I got the cold chicken appetizer and dry pot beef both 10/10. If you are anywhere near this place go.

Overall, I think that Sushi Asia Gourmet would be a good place to get some good Chinese food, as to me the best Chinese restaurant in Akron. The menu here has a good selection and a variety of delicious Chinese dishes that are mostly authentic, for a reasonable price. The atmosphere of the restaurant is overall clean, not fancy but just the mediocre type, and the location is pretty good, conveniently situated right in the heart of the Merriman Valley neighborhood. I will come back.

I haven’t been to this restaurant for over 25 years. I use to work at the post office when I was in college. I was craving for some shrimp lomein I was expecting it to look like the photo on their page. Instead I got this and a small bag of dried noodles. I remembered back in the day this restaurant was really good. I was disappointed I drove all the way over here. I also ordered the fried chicken wings it wasn’t that good either it smelled old. I think it’s because this is not very busy so they probally don’t sell much of it. I don’t usually complain I think I just remembered how the food use to be. It’s different owners now. I remember the family that originally was here. I miss them.

Ive been a customer at this place for almost 10 years. The food has always been fresh and hot, consistent and great flavor. This is a small local business and they take it serious and work hard to make you happy. I recommend

Grabbed lunch for the first time. Chicken & Broccoli with Wonton Soup and Egg Roll Combo. Good price and very good!

So I guess they precook the chicken wings, toss them in this cardboard box, and fry them for a couple seconds to reheat. I’m not saying I’ll never eat there again. However, I’ll likely never get the chicken wings again. It can’t be sanitary to hold the chicken like that.

Great take out! Delicious American Chinese food, exactly as expected. Accurate wait time. And the drive through is so convenient! Going to be eating leftovers from here for days.

Ordered vegetable fried rice and it barely had any vegetables. The vegetable egg roll was the flattest egg roll I’ve ever seen in life. Very skimpy on the veggies.

We got the bourbon chicken combo and the singapore mei fun which was good. Slightly spicy and shrimp was not overcooked. Portions were also good 👍

The restaurant smelled clean and fresh. The lady who cashed me out was very polite. The food we had was delicious and fresh. Sweet and Sour Chicken had the best breading we’ve ever had Curry chicken was delicious Sesame chicken was delicious Plain noodles, fried rice and white rice were all cook perfectly and delicious We will definitely order take out from here again.

I had the beef hunan and it had plenty of beef and veggies. The egg roll was crispy when I got back to eat my order. I would come back again. I have no complaints as it was hot, fresh and made quickly.

First time here, visiting Akron and we were not sure where to go. We chanced it and it was a right pick. Very friendly staff, nice clean facilities, food is amazing, we ordered bigger portion option and we could not finish it, and had the rest to go. Prices are half of what we pay in Atlanta for good Chinese. Strongly recommended

Very good! Clean store and excellent service. Crab Rangoons are AMAZING highly recommend—nice n crunchy. And the Sesame Combo meal is good too, I got a Large and it was really enough for two people, so portions are filling. Cool artwork in the dining area. A-Wok is A-OK Astronomical

Been going here for years. My favorites are the beef and broccoli, General Tso's chicken, and sweet 'n sour chicken. Inside has been remodeled recently with some nice tile work and new seating. Kept the classic riverside picture on the wall. Always nice to have cans of soda available. Wonton soup comes with lunch for a very nice treat.

This is a real hidden gem. The guy behind the counter is super friendly and always helpful. Passes out a bottle of water to everyone that comes in. The buffet seems to have new options every time we come in here. Always looks fresh and tasty!!!! The.chicken Philly is a huge sandwich and tastes amazing!!! French fries and boneless wings are really good. Prices are crazy cheap compared to literally anywhere else!!!

I was hesitant at first to try it because of the name of the establishment. I don’t know why you would name it OK Wings & Fish lol. I stopped by and met the owner he is Asian. They are nice people. I like the wings I’ve been there several times prices are very reasonable. It’s really cheap prices for what you get the wings are very good size. They have a good selection of flavors. Try it out!

Amazing takeout! I’ve had the general tso’s chicken, wonton soup, egg rolls,and the kung pao chicken. The spice is delightful, the portions are generous, and the vegetables are super fresh! The wonton soup is not overly salty. It’s mellow and perfect for a cold day. The kung pao has wonderful spice and perfect tender chicken. I can’t wait to try the bourbon chicken! Update: got the bourbon chicken!!! It’s so tender and so well spiced with a sweet bourbon sauce! There were huge chunks of chicken! The vegetables were crisp and fresh! This one is wonderful!

Food was okay. No serious concerns or objections but the chicken has some bites that were tough. The rice was good and the prices were fair. Service was short.

Born and raised Asian American here from the West Coast. This is the closest and best tasting facsimile of the old school “pay by the scoop” Americanized Chinese places you’ll find in San Francisco that I’ve found in northeast Ohio. Skip Panda Express and support this family business; places like this are what it was based on anyways.

We thought we would give this place another try. It is worse than before. Somehow all our meals and apps taste like hey have been cooked with fish, we had no seafood. We both felt this was the worst Chinese food we have ever had. It is upsetting to pay for a meal that you can tell the business no longer cares about the quality it produces. I really feel like if we had finished our meals we would have ended up sick. I mentioned it when I went to work and apparently it now has a reputation for being the place o not order from. I can taste why. I even tried to fix it by reheating and adding my own sauce when I have time to make my own and that didn’t help either. The taste of fish is so infused in the food you can’t escape it. Food should never taste like seafood when you haven’t ordered seafood.

Picked up some sushi takeout and it was delicious. We both picked something new to try and ended up with the TNT roll and the butterfly roll. Great food. Newest try was American dream roll and was great Ohio roll and beef tempura were both great as well 👍 Supercrabmeat appetizer is a favorite as well.

Although the people there were very accommodating to my religious diet, the food was very bland. I had ordered a chicken with broccoli and it had no sauce on it it seemed like steamed vegetables and the chicken only. The sesame chicken was okay, but could have used more sauce, but I did appreciate how they made sure no pork was in my food.

My favorite lunch spot in all of Akron! Always amazing food quality, service, and speed. The lunch specials offer serving sizes and prices that can't be beaten. Try the curried chicken and potatoes, I eat it two days a week and crave it the other 5!
