I ordered the sesame chicken combo platter that comes with “fried rice,” a mini egg roll, and a cheese wonton. Decent portion size, but I’d gladly take quality over quantity. The sesame chicken was mostly pieces of breading/tempura and the sauce was very sweet. Also, I’m not sure why they’re calling it “fried rice” when it just looks, feels, and tastes like flavorless steamed brown rice with zero veg or aromatics. Either they’re not familiar with cooking fried rice in a wok or they just dont care. Lastly, asking for a fork and napkin with takeout seems like a bother. As someone who has eaten Chinese fusion in many states, and a handful of countries outside of the US, this is probably my least favorite spot that I’ve ever been to.

Food was hot fresh and tasty. Hot and sour soup could have had more tofu and meat. Overall good food and ample amounts of it.

I'm so surprised by the low reviews of this restaurant because it is so delicious and inexpensive! For $7, you can get a combo with two entrees, rice or noodles, and a fried wonton or egg roll. The portions are very large. I got the sesame chicken and kung pao chicken. The sesame chicken was so crispy without being too sweet. I'll definitely be coming here regularly!

Everything here is bread disguised as meat menu items. I would avoid due to integrity and potential safety issues. The item shown is supposed to be chicken.

The food is absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and packed with authentic taste. I tried the sesame chicken and lo mein, and both were spot-on, with generous portions that left me with leftovers for later. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Prices are affordable, and the convenience of takeout or delivery is a huge plus. Definitely my go-to spot for Chinese food in the area—highly recommend giving it a try!

Yes, the price is very good. The sesame chicken is very urgent, and the boss also gave a spring roll.

What happened to my favorite Asian restaurant? This used to be my Go To spot. Great service, Smiling and friendly staff, Great tasting food with crisp, freshly prepared meals????? What happened? Now, no one smiles, very unfriendly staff, tasteless, soggy food. Crisp and fresh no longer exists at Healthy Asian Garden. The one thing that is still there? The Tip Jar. For what, doing me a favor by selling worn out food without a smile? NEVER MORE. HEALTHY ASIAN GARDEN. Too bad, it was great but that's history.

Just ordered through uber eats, general tso's chicken. Honestly it isnt really edible. No flavor, not spicy, barely any sauce. Just feels like eating chewy flavorlesa rubber. Probably one of the worst general tso chicken I have had in a long time. Very dissappointed after waiting so lomg for the food and paying a premium for food that will just go straight to the trash bin so I can go to the grocery store and buy something that edible. Uber eats quality has been pretty low for a while but this was definitely an experience I wont forget for a while.

I think that every place should be reviewed, from the worst to the best to the just okay. TLDR: This place is... pretty good! I really enjoyed the food, and the service was very quick. The actual restaurant was a bit mediocre, but I can't provide many details on that since I ordered takeout. I saw one review saying they had an issue with ordering out using Menufy, and I believe that's been resolved as I had no issues! The service was quick, and I received my order within 15 minutes of me ordering. Though I did order at 9:30 at night so that probably had something to do with the quickness. The inside of the restaurant wasn't anything to write home about. A good 9ish kinda big tables with chairs placed around an empty main room. Little privacy and I can't speak to the cleanliness sadly, which I know some people mentioned wasn't the best. I ordered the Chicken Scewers (first and second pic) and the Chicken with Mixed Veggies (third pic) dinner combo with Fried Rice (fourth pic). The Chicken Scewers were $8.99 for four of them, which I thought was a bit pricy until I got them. Very big pieces of chicken and very juicy. The skin was a bit burnt, but it was mostly at the ends. I was worried about the chicken itself being cooked alright since I've seen some reviews about food poisoning, but the chicken was cooked fully! Very good otherwise, 8/10. The Chicken and Mixed Veggies (dinner special) was $13.99 with an added surcharge of $2.00 for the fried rice. This sounded about right and what I'd usually pay for at a typical East Aian restaurant. The chicken was more thinly cut and was also very good and juicy. The chicken got cold and a bit quickly, but I was fine with that. The veggies we *very* mixed as well. From broccoli to bell peppers, there was everything. I think there were red and green bell peppers, mini corn, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and cucumber. 9/10 The Fried Rice was...fine? I don't usually get fried rice as I'm not a huge fan of rice in general, but it tasted more or less fine. It's a bit dry and stale, and I saw some people say that it was Mexican fried rice? I think it may be after looking at some pictures online. 6/10 There was also a Convenience Fee of $1.50 and a Tax of $1.77. In total, without tip, my order was $26.25. Considering I'll definitely have leftovers with how big the portions were, I'm satisfied with that.

please don’t get the combination Singapore noodles…. no flavor…just a waste of my money… very disappointing. i’d definitely go in person and pick food like that so you can see what you’re getting, instead of ordering online. I paid about $15 for this and an Arizona green tea. this was the saddest meal i’ve had in a while after a 4 mile hike. i won’t be back.

Super dry lo mein and no flavor at all bummer got a family pack so now we’re down a side.

Store was DISGUSTING when we went in. The whole line was riddled with wrappers, food, etc. I looked at the chow mein and it didn't look appetizing. Was immediately turned off. I think what was even worse was the fact that the girl on the line just nonchalantly dismissed my comment of how dirty the place was. This was on April 13th at 8:15 pm. Management, if you are reading this please check ur cameras. I would've taken photos but I was so revolted I just wanted to be out of there.

Went to eat here after running a few errands mid- week, it was dead as we walked in and got to go right up to the glass to order. The food looked amazing. I did I noticed an older lady standing off to the side, just starting off into space, I saw one guy helping the fellow in front of us and one guy in the back cooking. Everyone seemed busy except for her. Well, it went on about 3 minutes of this guy in front of us being helped until she finally said something in another language at the guy serving and came to ask us "What do you want?" I was pretty taken aback and ask of a sudden our nice lunch out was turning. My boyfriend ordered quickly then my turn and with the same sweet demeanor (sarcasm dripping) she asked what I wanted. I wanted some won- tons as well. We got home and started to eat and about 2 bites in both of our stomachs were making weird noises. Then I tasted a won ton, took a huge mouthful of the stuff ( I love those things) only to discover the cream was changing. All I could taste was sour and I almost booked the in the living room. But I made it to the bathroom. I was flushing the toilet when my boyfriend rushed in, sitting down already as I was rushing out the bathroom door. The food may look appetizing, may even smell that way, but don't let that fool you. Take it from us, the garbage they piled on those Togo Styrofoams were just as sour as the service.

Ordered a bigger plate for delivery through the app. Got orange chicken, mushroom chicken and broccoli beef. Order arrived and there's no broccoli beef. Wtf? Received this instead, whatever this is. Smells spicy, which I can't do because my stomach is too sensitive. Everything else was good. They should ask what substitute you would prefer rather than just throw anything they feel like it in there.

This panda express seemed much cleaner than others I’ve been to. Only a few empty food serving containers options when ordering. Seemed like they were just a tiny bit stingy on the walnut shrimp but I imagine they’re not told to be generous since it’s an up-charge. Line moved with good speed and I didn’t feel rushed. I still have some money on my gift card so I might be back sometime if I pass this way.

I Order from Panda Express once a week from Panda Express not normally this one but when I have, I have a problem everytime. The first time I ordered online, I ordered a bowl with fried rice and orange chicken and when I picked up, they only gave me 4 pieces of chicken, but filled the bowl with rice, I genuinely believe they did this because I wasn’t there watching them, this time, I ordered delivery and I ordered a 12 piece wagoon for me and my mom, it was only delivered with a 3 piece, the order says 4 items we only got 3 items and we received a small order not a large. I do not think I will be ordering from here anymore.

Great by the scoop spot. Friendly staff. Food met my expectations; volume solid and quality better good. Glad I stopped in and if I’m in the neighborhood again I’ll pay them a visit. Note: seems to be $2.50 a scoop depending on which side/protein you want.

I used to have such good memories of this place. Now there's soda boxes living by the door as you walk in (with dust on them, meaning they've been there a While), smaller portions, higher prices which no longer offer good value, ($3.50 for 3 cheese wontons?? No more drink included on a $13 combo box??), and a staff that seems like they just no longer care how anything looks or tastes... I ordered anyway, and the food was tasteless, stale, and very dry, as if it had been sitting on their buffet all day long (it's the evening now). I am saddened, because I really used to like this place, and now I won't be back...

I *really* want to like this place: after all, the idea of a Chinese scoop restaurant is beautiful and wonderful and should be preserved! …but it’s kind of a love-hate relationship. Look… for this class of restaurant, I’m not expecting gourmet food. The food shouldn’t have to be complex or healthy or beautiful. What I *am* expecting is relatively fresh food that comes out quickly and is a good price. For $11.99, you get 3 scoops and lo mein (or rice, or half and half). It really depends on what you get for whether it will be piled high or not. Be ware that the dishes like “kung pao chicken” don’t have much chicken, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing—we like vegetables! And this place certainly does too: they will give you lots of “butter potatoes” (fries, basically), but maybe not so much jalepeno chicken. The noodles WERE fresh (but they were also mixed with old noodles that had been sitting out for a while). The salt and pepper shrimp was somewhat stale and DEFINITELY too salty. I was super excited about the s&p and picked it even though you only get 4 per scoop with the combo. The service was friendly! And kind and very competent. Just not extremely fast, limited mainly be the kitchen. I understand that there’s a turn-around associated with fresh food, but waiting for 15 or so minutes when you’re just staring at this buffet line of food, as are the four people who have been waiting even longer than you, wondering why they weren’t prepared for this is just… confusing, man. I recommend supporting businesses like this because they are close to a great deal (certainly they are at least a good deal;)), and the food is tasty, for sure. The family working here obviously works really hard, and I’m happy they’re so close to my home. Just wish I could’ve said I had a better experience this time. Anyway, it did hit the spot:) so thanks, bird’s nest!

I went about 30min before close, the noodles were a bit lumpy, greasy and soft but can't complain since it was about to close. Go around lunch time or early dinner to get the fresher food. Good variety of options and sides like the SUGAR donuts! Those hit the spot! Tip them nice for their hard work to keep these local scoop businesses open. 🫡

Whatever you do, DO NOT order the honey chicken. It came with a cup of cold salad dressing instead of honey sauce with pineapples. It’s delicious salad dressing, but I would never put it on fried chicken pieces. When I called the restaurant, I was told that it is the correct sauce. I expected it to be like sweet and sour with warm sauce that you pour over the chicken, not cold salad dressing. And the beef lo mein is bad also. The flavor is just ok, but the noodles are thick and mushy. I spent $50 on this food and it was so bad I threw the full containers away. Don’t waste your money on this place. Fast food is better than this crap.

Tried this joint after receiving a mailer of a menu. We’ve been looking for a good Chinese takeout spot that delivers and I think we’ve found it. Their sesame chicken was the best that I’ve had here - lots of sauce and very flavorful. Their crab rangoon were great too. I judge all Chinese places by their pork fried rice and this one was good, but not my favorite, that I’ve had here in Lakewood. Their service was quick and easy and with two small kids at home, the delivery is truly a godsend. We’ll be repeat customers.

Great food and friendly employees. The rice was fluffy and the entrees were fresh. They gave me huge excessive scoops. So glad I live super close by.

I got chicken lo mein, sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Yummy! The lady who served me was polite and patient. The atmosphere is good for East Colfax. And the pricing wasn't bad.
