Update: 2025, the quality is a bit better, take out was better than previous past experiences, I've lived here for 20+ years. I don't need "Local Guide" to tell you the truth. Take is slightly better than the original review, cuts of meat a bit better. I will create a new review in the next 30 days with a fresh mindset. Great for a in a pinch meal. (Original Review) Quality has tanked in the last 100 days. We use to order every week and we have noticed a significant decline in the quality of their chicken. Soggy mostly ground up chicken when I ordered orange chicken. Not even caramelized, just soupy ground up tiny pieces of chicken. Won’t be ordering again till summer, I don’t recommend this place now or in the near future. What happened tonight is a disgrace, a PBJ looks better than this.

Unassuming Chinese restaurant in Montrose. They had great fresh ingredients, very generous portions and authentically flavorful. I don’t live close but if I did, this would be my go to spot for the best Chinese food! We got the meals they offer and it comes with so much food!

This place is a gem! The food was delicious and the restaurant was very clean and nice. I ordered take out, the vegetable mu shu and vegetable lo mein, and both were very delicious! I will definitely be back.

I got the Mongolian beef requested extra spicy it was good but not spicy. ☹️ Not bad checking it out!

Their menu on Google is outdated as far as pricing, so I'll add a updated one 😉 if you haven't eaten here you really need to try it , we ordered Vegetable lo mean, egg rolls and steamed dumplings 😋

i’ve been to this place for years now, and i can say this place never disappoints 🙌. Food is pretty good, the people and staff here are nice, everything about this place is enjoyable. They’ve expanded their menu since they’ve moved to their new location, but the taste still remains the same. Always very good each time ❤️

Our experience was transcendent. Long gone are the days of bad strip mall Chinese food. This food was EXCELLENT. Modern dining experience with FANTASTIC service from our waiter CAEDEN. Viral sensations like bubble waffles and Vietnamese coffee stole the show. The PORK BUNS were to die for. Prices were very fair. This is what a dining experience should be.

Sashimi yellowtail ponzu prepared perfectly, a deliciously flavored Hot & Sour soup with impeccable consistency with just the right amount of tang, amazingly elevated Pad Thai and I cannot recommend the House Lo Mein enough, seriously, get it. The combo is filled with succulent shrimp cooked impeccably, tinder chicken, yummy veggies. They must be cooking them individually it seems because the cook time for each is different, yet each is cooked perfectly. In short: it's delicious! The noodles are even soaked with flavor! Every slirp was a flavor explosion. They have really fun drinks as well to check out and their house hot saki is a smooth and pairs perfect with a Kirin lite. I'm not in this area often, but it is definitely worth the drive, even as a focal point of your trip. If you go with friends, all their apps are great, and while those alone would be a enough food, the actual dishes are very large and also easily sharable. Ask for a few small plates to share. Lastly, the team there is really professional and genuinely kind. Our waiter, appologies for not getting his name, was polite, attentive and very educated with their dishes which is a HUGE sign that the owners care about quality and ambiance. As a world traveler, I have to say, this place is definitely worth the jaunt.

After a day of skiing, this is a great place to reward yourself! My boyfriend and I got the gourmet dinner special. We both got the volcano shrimp, which was battered perfectly. So good! I just wish the sauce was spicy. There is a chili pepper labeled next to it on the menu, but we didn't taste the heat, so make sure to ask for it to be hotter if you like the heat! I love that they have their spicy mustard and sweet and sour sauce in the mustard and ketchup bottles on the table ready for you. The restaurant is spotless, and the servers are very kind and attentive. They were quick to fill up our drinks. We really appreciated the service.

Fantastic service! Great food. Just a little pricey, but worth it for the great service. We really appreciate their willingness to accommodate special dietary needs and not make us feel embarrassed.

If you want to go to a restaurant and receive a family atmosphere and Stellar service and not just good, fast food.. then this is the place to stop by! Every bit of the food was fresh and tasted wonderful with good texture and flavor. I will definitely be coming back over and over. Service means a lot to me and this place has Top Notch service! Came from out of town and we wanted to treat our family to dinner. Dinner was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed all the variety that they offered. Customer service was wonderful and added to the wonderful dining experience we had. Glad to have this as an added wonderful experience on our trip. Thank you very much❤️

I live in colorado springs. I grew up in NY eating chinese in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, as well as many cities cross across the country when I travel. Their twice cooked pork is the best I've ever had--the sauce and big slices of bbq pork are delicious. I really don't understand it... And their egg rolls are pretty darn close to a NY style egg roll (they just need to be a bit bigger and have bbq pork). I always get take-out there when I'm staying in Rifle. Love you guys.

I ordered a plate of orange chicken with the noodles and rice. The noodles were okay not too much flavor. The rice was pretty good it had little peices of egg in it. The orange chicken was what I liked the most. I was surprised by the portion because it was a lot. My husband and I shared the plate and were pretty full. They added a veggie roll and a soup with our order. Price was not bad for the amount we were given.

Don't let the humble exterior fool you-they make really good Chinese food here! I had the Sesame chicken and all the flavors/textures were spot on, as well as very affordable. Will be returning my next time through Parachute.

5/5 This is everything you want in a casual, no frills Chinese-American restaurant! It’s a perfect place to refuel after skiing. The service is outstanding. The owner is a woman who calls everyone “dear” and immediately makes you feel welcome. Their lunch specials are unbeatable. For $11.35 you get soup, app, and a main with rice. What we got: - Pan fried dumplings - Wonton soup - Hot and sour soup - Tangerine chicken - Mongolian beef - Chicken kung pao I would recommend all of these! This place is so good we have been twice in the past 3 days.

We were near the area doing snow activities and we choose this place to have lunch, and was a 10/10. The food was good and quick, the waitress was very nice and gave us suggestions of things to visit. Thanks, it was a really nice experience.

So glad we came across this hidden gem! Came in with a group of 10 and we all had a great time. Every dish we ordered was amazing and the service was quick as well. 10 out of 5 This is the best Asian restaurant in Vail and possibly Colorado. They have a huge menu from sushi to Thai but the stand outs are their Chinese dishes. If you want authentic Szechuan this is the place! What we got: - Wonton soup - homemade dumplings had a good ginger and garlic flavor. Big enough for two as an app. - Double cooked pork - absolutely outstanding. Big portion with vegetables, fermented black beans, so good! - Spicy crispy fish - highly recommend this if you like spicy food. I love this dish whether the chicken or fish variations and this might have been the best I’ve had! I can’t say enough about the Chinese food. We were blown away with how good they were. Our server Patrick was incredible. He was so friendly and welcoming. He’s a serious skier and you can often find him backpacking 30+ pounds of cooking gear to make fresh food slope side! We have tried many places in Vail and I highly, highly, highly recommend this place. The interior is small so I recommend making a reservation. Pro tip: it’s BYOB so bring a bottle of wine or a few beers!

If I could leave this place 0 stars I would. Years ago, this place was great! A little over a year ago, I started working in Riverwalk, we decided to order takeout for lunch. 30mins after ordering (giving the restaurant 10 extra minutes than they quoted) I went to pick up the order. When I got there I had to wait another 15 mins for the order. The customer service was terrible, and the food ended up tasting mediocre at best. We were super disappointed. It has taken me a year to try this place again. We walked in there today, seen several people sitting at tables (dinning in) only to be told that the 2 of us can order takeout because they were "not allowing" dine in. Well... the sign outside completely contradicted what we were told by the staff... none the less we went to Boardroom Deli (Delicious!! Great service) and will not be returning to Henry's. Eagle may be a drive but Gourmet China will ALWAYS be worth the trip for quality Chinese style food and great service.

Stopped by this tiny little Chinese restaurant that just switched over to new owners. You can tell they put a lot of pride into their food as The food is amazing!! I ordered some appetizer and main dishes… the potato cheese balls are to die for!! And the general Tao chicken was perfectly crispy, the chef said that they don’t use flour to batter so the chicken stays crispy even upon deliveries. My dad ordered the thin noodles which had veggies and meat, he loved it. I definitely would recommend that you give this place a try, we need more small businesses like these to thrive :)

Stopped by this Asian restaurant today and was blown away by the experience! The food was amazing ,everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The server went above and beyond with their friendly, attentive service. Will definitely be coming back again soon.
