This This is a great little spot! The food was super tasty, and I’m surprised I hadn’t discovered it sooner. The Cajun fried rice was even better than I expected—perfectly spicy for my taste. The guy at the counter was really friendly, and the food came out pretty quickly after I ordered. The restaurant is small with only about four or five tables but there was only one other couple there, so we were good. Can’t wait to go back and try something else!

Pepper Salt was a delightful accidental find. I was actually searching for another restaurant but came across its glowing reviews and decided to check out the menu. Intrigued, I placed an order through Uber Eats, and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice, General Tso’s Chicken, and Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings—yes, a lot of chicken dishes, but no regrets here! Each item was flavorful, with just the right balance of seasoning, and the portions were generous. Everything was carefully packed, which kept the food fresh and intact during the 15-minute journey to my home. I’m excited to try more items on their menu in the future, but it’s great to know there’s a local gem like Pepper Salt serving up such amazing food. Highly recommend supporting this spot if you’re in the area.

March 2025 - I live in the neighborhood and ordered takeout from here since they opened this location. The restaurant itself is very nice and spacious and well decorated. It is built out with the right amount of decor and charm to reflect the food served. Dining in is great but the takeout is even better. I order here often and pick up. Service is great. The speed via which they get the order ready is equally fast. The dishes exceptional and a variety to choose from. I would recommend this place for dine-in or takeout. Not disappointed and will definitely order here often. The restaurant is located in a fairly new and modern strip mall with a few other dining options. Ample parking as well. Easy access from Richmond.

Saw this place with five star reviews and decided to try it given that it’s Chinese. The inside looks really nice and clean and great Ambience the service was fantastic and quick. The food tasted fresh. We also ended up getting the Matcha tea and the Thai tea both were Really good. I would highly recommend this place. We also got the lotus root cubes as well as the vegetarian spring rolls. Everything tasted really good.

Shabbat Shalom Warehouse is the place to be! The vibes here are absolutely unmatched—warm, welcoming, and full of energy. The drinks are top-notch, with a wide selection that caters to all tastes. Best noodles I’ve ever had neegun!

Roberto Howard is beyond professional and nice. Not only is his customer service top tier but the food is unbelievably delicious. I had the honor of buying smoked and deep fried turkeys from him and they were a hit for thanksgiving. Most definitely will be returning!!

This was some of the beat brisket I have ever had. Moist juicy tender and omg the flavor of a good seasoned pit. This man knows how to season and smoke a brisket. And that dirty rice was so good. I’d tell you about them baked beans but my little one got to them before me and I never got to try them so they must be amazing too. Lol. Just great food and even better personality. You can’t beat good people and good food.

I really like/appreciate this place. I'm now a bit obsessed and want at least a weekly poke bowl fix. The owners and their employees are wonderful, and the food is of good quality, tasty, and consistent. For vegetarians, they offer a satisfying selection of options, and the seaweed salad is perfect. Highly recommend.

Fresh and flavorful. They’re super nice. I made my own vegetarian bowl and they definitely don’t skimp you on the portions here, like they do at other places! I will be back :)

Food was absolutely amazing and perfectly seasoned. Their coffee was also very good, it's not too bitter or too acidic, yet rich and smooth. Loved the laid back vibes of the restaurant that made me feel like I'm at home. Where I could sit down and relax over a nice warm and cozy meal as I catch up with an old friend.

We had Chicken Riggies and Mixed Meat Platter, both delicious. Make sure to save room for a Krempita or Sweet Apple Biscuit! Coffee and espresso were great. The pricing was incredible with gracious service.

This is the best fried chicken in the city, hands down. Fried to perfection in a liquor store no less. I've had this chicken several times, and I've never been disappointed. It's always fresh and crispy every single time. 10 out of 10 must recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delicious! If you are in Sunset Park and looking for a quick, authentic, and affordable meal, you have to try this place out. Would recommend for everyone. They have some different options for lunch everyday, and if you don’t like it you can go in a different day.

They were very kind and respectful. With the combination of their delicous food I was amazed. I am already planning to cater for an upcoming party and I think that you should try it too!!

I been eating from here for about five times now the food is really good I have had mozzarella sticks, cheese eggs and cheese grits with garlic butter shrimp, candy yams, cornbread macaroni and cheese, rice and gravy, and basa fish. I definitely recommend this place
