T4 Mala Town
My go to for Singapore style noodles since Sam Wo closed. Silky (not curry powder gritty), rice noodles just past al dente, well-seasoned with good wok hei.
JB King
The delicacies of the hometown are unforgettable without thinking about them. Hometown is a long-lasting nostalgia, like a cup of hot tea, which has a long lasting flavor, and the taste of steamed dumplings brings the aroma of hometown street food. The JB King had a grand opening last month. After I ordered food, they steam/cook it immediately. After about ten minutes, the hot meals were brought out. I ordered the Combination Plate #1 today, which included Steamed Dumplings, Pan Fried Pork Buns and a bowl of Congee with Century Egg and Pork. They were yummy tummy and a real relief from my homesickness. The service was great, and people work here are very nice!
This is a new opening restaurant. There is many delicious food and it is the best price I found in the area. I like the COMBO set #1 and #2. The Pan Fried Park Bun and Beef Roll are really tasty, My wife enjoin the Shrimp Egg and Chives Pocket. Strong recommend!
Szechuan Chinese Restaurant
Had a great dine-in experience at Szechuan Chinese Restaurant! The place is newly renovated—clean, bright, and comfortable. Staff were super friendly, and the food came out fast. I had the Bigger Plate with spicy chicken skewers, yu xiang eggplant, and dry pot ribs—everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The new owner said the steam table will reopen this weekend, which means even faster service for lunch and dinner. Right now they’re in soft opening with 10% off, and it’s not too busy yet—definitely a hidden gem worth checking out before the crowds arrive!
Amazing food and service! We went during the opening week and got a 10% discount. First of all the food was delicious, wasn’t greasy or salty a lot, well flavored and done really well. The dishes are individual and good portions. There are great combinations. There are spicy and non-spicy options. The prices are good. The staff is friendly and respectful. Excellent service. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it.
Fuego Express Chinese Food
Food is absolutely amazing! It’s my husband and I's new favorite place to go for Chinese food. They are reasonably priced and good size portions
Best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I definitely recommend this place! I drive all the way from Austin just get this delicious fresh food. :))
My Lo Mein
I stopped there with my boyfriend because it was a new place to try. The lady at the front was very friendly and pleasant to speak with. Ordering was very easy and when the food came out it was hot and fresh. When we got home and I had that first bite I was in blissful shock. The fried rice was perfect, it was colorful, and full of flavor. I loved how they have diced vegetables in their rice which compliments the pork. I got Egg Foo Young with Beef and my boyfriend got Hunan with Beef and both were just immaculate. Hot, tender, full of great flavor, and vibrant colors that make the food the food aesthetically pleasing to the eye. They're also very reasonably priced for the portions that they offer. If you're on your way through and want some good Chinese food, I recommend trying My Lo Mein. I'm definitely looking forward to going back!
Online order was done easily..Food was ready, hot, fast and there was plenty of it.. Greeted by 2 super sweet ladies.. Happy I can pick up something good and local to my boyfriend's house in Brownville..Definitely eating here again.
Sloppy Mo's
My kids and I came to Lost Nation Brewery to get some burgers for late lunch after skiing. We were given the Sloppy MO’s menu and were a bit surprised to see Chinese food options in a brewery. (We are Chinese and we are “a little picky” with Chinese food. My kids grew up spoiled by my wife’s homemade Chinese food.) We ordered wide noodles with lamb not knowing what we were getting ourselves into. When the food finally came out, we were fully blown away by the authentic taste and spice of the dish. It beats every noodle dish we had in Boston! Chef Mike (a white dude! :-)) later told us the noodle is homemade. And the lamb was extremely tasty too. We later added dry cumin chicken wings. The boys loved them as much as the noodles. By the way, Rustic Ale was also very good. We are so happy we bumped into this little pop-up kitchen at the brewery and we would highly recommend wide noodles with lamb if you appreciate spicy food.
Idk never been love the name
Sol Delish
I am so glad I came here today. It brightened my whole mood. I walked in and met this beautiful lady which happened to be the owner of this amazing spot. I highly recommend the beef soup dumplings. It was my first time trying them and it was amazing. I also got the new general tso chicken and it was so amazing the perfect amount of spice, the perfect amount of sweetness, the beef soup dumplings were thick and delicious and full of soup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please visit and please bring your friends. It is such a beautiful energy in here. Thank you so much for having me.
If you want the nostalgic taste of Chinatown cuisine this is the place. Their soup dumplings are amazing (I’d could just have the broth by itself and be a happy camper). Most of my food didn’t make it long enough to get photographed - highly recommend their new general chicken (perfect blend of tangy saucy sweet on chicken).
Wok Fushion Kitchen
Extremely satisfying fried rice. Even better than most restaurants in Chinatown. I had the soft shelled crab with black pepper sauce. The menu only had it with white rice and a fried egg so I was pleasantly surprised to get a fried rice with the dish. Turns out the fried rice was he star. It wasn't oily, mushy, or salty. Just well flavored with small chopped veggies and when the black pepper sauce was poured into it, tasted delicious. The soft shell crab had a very light batter, the way I like it. Tender and crispy. Can't wait to come back and try their other dishes.
this place is great!! hidden gem in dekalb market - the Singaporean signature fried rice is a must try. Bar seats are also nice, friendly staff, prices are cheaper than most areas at the market.
Mala Master Spicy House
Very clean and tidy spicy restaurant, every flavor is delicious 😋 Friends who don't like spicy food can try the tomato soup, the sour and sweet taste makes the taste buds open. The rich aroma of bone soup has various spicy levels to choose from. The fried skewers let me taste the authentic hometown flavor. Love this restaurant so much.
We had an amazing great experience at this restaurant. The food were fresh, especially the various vegetables and meats. The broth was flavorful, and there were lots of options to choose from depending on what you like. They also have fried skewer and sausage. The staff were kind and helpful, the place was clean and relax. Perfect for sharing with friends or family. Will definitely be coming back!
