Yummy Yummy Teriyaki Express
Since this spot is just around the corner from home, we visit frequently. Our go-to order is white rice with double teriyaki chicken and broccoli—absolutely delicious! Though, I do wish the broccoli was a bit softer. We also love the noodles with beef and vegetables, which never disappoints! Fortune cookies are always fun to read. I crack mine open before even digging into my plate.
If you're craving flavorful, well-prepared Asian cuisine, Yummy Yummy Teriyaki Express is definitely worth the wait! Egg Drop Soup – Perfectly silky with a rich, comforting broth. It’s light yet satisfying, with just the right balance of seasoning. Dumplings – Deliciously crispy on the outside and packed with flavorful filling. Whether steamed or fried, they’re a must-try! Lo Mein Noodles – A fantastic mix of soft, savory noodles tossed in a flavorful sauce with fresh veggies and protein options. Each bite is packed with umami goodness. Coconut Shrimp – Crispy, golden, and coated in a sweet coconut batter that adds a perfect crunch. The dipping sauce complements it perfectly. Overall, the food is fresh, flavorful, and well worth the wait. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great meal with bold flavors!
China Wok
It was our first visit and I can say we will be back. The food was really good and tasty. The sauce from the sesame chicken was very flavorful and the portion size was good enough for leftovers. The General Chicken wasn't my favorite but it is something I would revisit again. While the ambiance of the place doesn't provide a sit down and get comfortable vibe. The food pairs well with a great show or subtle music at home. The service was prompt and speedy but it was an authentic type of restaurant. So be prepared for a possible language barrier.
We have eaten here a few times for dinner, and decided to order lunch today. This is by far the best food I've gotten from here, it don't even taste like the same place, I guess we will stick to ordering lunch, and get dinner somewhere else. Great food today.
China Town Restaurant
After being on the road so long and doing a lot of camp cooking I just wanted someone else to cook. Was happy to find this spot. Was going to take it to go, but it’s cozy in there so I stayed and dined in. Bummer for that other guy in the reviews who isn’t a Chinese food professional like myself. Staff was sweet and attentive. He was happy to explain some stuff on the menu I havnt seen before. Food came out fast. Small vegetarian menu options but plenty for me to choose from. Too much food I took the rest to go.
Consistently the best Chinese food in the area! My husband’s and my staples are the vegetable curry with tofu and the vegetable lo mein (Add tofu). They are so incredibly full of all the right flavors. So many of these Chinese places are very lacking in flavor and plain. It is always very hot and fresh and good service. Although the outside could use some work, this is a must go to!
China 1
Great food for great price! I ordered Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp, and it was delivered quickly to our table. The ladies that work here do their best to give you a nice service. They were constantly checking up on us if we needed something else and refilling our drinks without being annoying. Nice decorations and they also have a small gift shop section at the restaurant.
2 stars because i go to this China 1 at least twice a month and rarely have issues. I picked up my order around 6:20 (less than an hour ago). This was dinner for me and my partner. on the left is my dinner (coconut chicken) and on the right is my partners “dinner” (coconut shrimp). There is a significant difference in the amount of food in these containers upon opening them , and yet i was still charged the same amount per meal. 29$ for both meals and a 5$ tip. this isn’t okay. i should have not even ordered because the woman on the other end of the phone was not the lady who is normally there and sounded like she had absolutely no idea what she was doing and asked me questions i had already answered. the entire experience here was completely abnormal tonight and now my partner is getting half of the amount we paid for. drove 30 minutes home to open my bag to this.
Panda Express
We arrived at 10am (opening) . There was only a few food choices out because they were too busy trying to cater someone else with 7 big catering boxes. Waited for 30 minutes on food that we never got the chance to order. Not to mention while sitting and waiting there was a ton of flies alive and dead on and around all the windows. Sad to see a brand new building and location be this disappointing already.
It’s a panda express….. so you will get exactly what you expect, good food, great service, clean dining room… thank you Chaz, Beth, and Jeff for great service and knowledge of the products… will be coming back soon
China Buffet
First time eating here, took my friend for belated birthday and we both said, we are coming back here 4 sure. So many choices, not the typical buffet items...stuffed scallop shells, crab cakes in crab shell, baked mussels in shell. OMG is all I can say. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
The food and atmosphere are pretty good. I'll be sure to come back and try the other items I didn't have room for on this visit. If you're in the Greenville area and want a good buffet, you won't go wrong by coming here.
China 1 Dandridge
My wife and I visited China 1 for the first time in September. The place was clean and welcoming. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but the atmosphere was pleasant. Parking is a bit of a hassle with the lack of spots. Although being right off the major roadway, it was quiet inside the restaurant. The waiter was a young man who was prompt and attentive throughout our meal. The food was above expectation, and everything looked and tasted excellent. We will be visiting here more often. As the overall value of the meal, service, and location was exceptional.
First time eating here. It was so good!! Have eaten at other places in Dandridge but food was not so much. Got sweet n sour chicken, Teriyaki chicken, Chicken fried rice, egg rolls! Everything was fresh hot and tasted amazing 👏 The cashier/ hostess was above and beyond on taking care of all we needed or ask for. If your looking for a clean, fresh food, good atmosphere this is it!!
Asian House Restaurant
I was at Asian House this evening (12/22/24) grabbing some takeout for dinner like we've done a hundred times in the past. One Chicken Happy Box and one Steak Happy Box are always our go-to. It was my first time being in the new location, and I was incredibly impressed. There were at least 4 cars in the drive-through, multiple families dining in, and the phone seemed to ring non-stop the few minutes I was there. My wife and I have always loved Asian House, but I wanted to make sure to and leave a review (something I should have done a long time ago) because of something I overheard this evening while waiting for my meal. Someone mentioned recent reviews that had been posted attacking the staff as well as the quality of the food. While I can't speak to others' experiences, I feel it is the least I can do for the restaurant and the those individuals that work there to mention the countless number of 5-star interactions my family and I have had with EVERYONE working there for over a decade.
The food and sushi was amazing. Very proportionate. Honestly best Asian around.
Asian Express
20241206 Pretty good for Chinese Fast Food. I didn't like the rice, which was ok because I wasn't going to eat much of it anyway. The steamed dumplings were surprisingly good. The egg roll... wow! Not the typical ones at most Chinese fast food filled with cabbage. This one has veggies and pork. It was delicious! I would come back again if I'm in the area. It is conveniently located where I'm staying. Even my finicky pups loves the beef and broccoli.
Me and my friends come here whenever I'm in town, and it is BY FAR my favorite Asian restaurant so far!! I am super picky about my rice and egg rolls and spring rolls, and I love theirs!! The staff are extremely friendly. The portions are amazing, especially for the price! I always take home leftovers and regret not bringing home more every time. Love the atmosphere, food, and service! I would recommend this place to anyone!! (My personal go tos are the beef and mushroom, beef and broccoli, egg drop soup, the donuts, the egg rolls, and the dumplings, and the hibachi steak, all super amazing 😽)
China Chef
They use some crappy service called “bring me that” for online ordering. When I tried to order it added over $8 to the order without explanation. Luckily my Apple Card stopped the charge and flagged it as suspicious. When they get a new system I will be happy to try them. Until than I will go to Rice Box.
We went today and I got my pepper steak. Love it. 💕
Rice Box
Amazing sushi!! And very well priced for the portions. The service was above exceptional. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but I had a picture. Showed it to the young lady at the register and she showed the chef. He knew exactly what to make. Amazing experience. Would rate higher if I could.
The environment is clean, I can't speak to the bathrooms and if they're clean. The food was tasty and flavorful. I ordered chow mei fun (veg rice noodle) and instead of egg roll I chose egg drop soup. Total with fountain drink was very reasonable at less than 13$. They have hibachi as well as sushi. Give this place a try.
Bamboo garden Chinese restaurant
Get the General Tso's tofu and hot and sour soup! The tofu was cooked perfectly! I only wish their menu had eggplant as well as their sauces like curry, orange, etc. to be with tofu instead of meat. Absolutely get the tofu. It's seriously awesome.
Very odd experience at this restaurant. Let me start by saying there was no one, except workers, at the restaurant when we arrived. We seated ourselves & then realized we had to actually go to the counter to order our food. When the food was brought to us it was all in “to go” containers minus lids for the soup! We had to set up our plastic silverware & napkins. Let’s talk about the food now. We started with mixed wonton & eggdrop soup & it was served with the typical noodles to put in the soup. However, the noodles were stale but before I could say anything our meals were served so I pushed the soup aside. My husband ordered pork egg foo young which came with fried rice & gravy. I ordered shrimp lomein which also came w/fried rice & both came with egg rolls. At first sight, we were surprised to see all orientals working there yet the food was very Americanized (lots of peas, carrots, etc). We were skeptical about tasting the food as it looked very bland & unappealing. We finally tried our dishes & realized there actually was NO flavor whatsoever!! I’ve never had bland Chinese food!! When my husband grabbed the container of “gravy” it was very dark sauce that tasted like it should’ve been on the lomein not the egg foo young. This was our first experience with this restaurant & it will be our last! $40+ later we threw it all away!!! Needless to say, the little bit of tasting we did repeated on both of us all night!!!
