Pei Wei Asian Kitchen
Restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly and efficient! They explained some questions we had and appreciated Lily when she brought the food to us. Best service so far at all the Pei Wei’s we have eaten at.
It was a very good experience to have a dinner there. I had eaten before I got there. I just to got something for my little daughter. The beautiful cashier was patient cause my little girl just want noodles, and of course not spicy. It took some time until we had the food, it makes sense because it was dinner time. My daughter like the noodles and the chicken. She had a lot of them and it was more than I expected.
Canton Palace Chinese Restaurant
Mom and pop type of place, great prices and outstanding food. Been looking for a solid dim sum spot in west miami and after a lot of looking, definitely found my go to spot from now on. Everything was fresh, clean and delicious! Service was spot on too! If you are looking for solid, authentic dim sum and are not looking to break the bank, this is it!
The traditional dish review on 明火烧鸭: The duck is cooked just right although the meat is a slightly tougher than expected, the sauce isn't HK style and is salt based rather than sour based. The traditional dish review on Dim Sum platter: no choice of dim sum selection, but provided set is comfortable to eat with hot tea. The traditional dish review on 干炒牛和: no further comments. All is as expected.
Rainbow Palace
This restaurant is bustling almost every hour from the moment it opens, so I highly recommend making a reservation. Every dish we tried was delicious, but the table’s favorites were the Chicken Gwin Jin, Chef’s Lo Mein, New York Style Orange Beef, and the Key Lime Pie. The service was excellent—our servers were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. I would definitely return!
This was an absolute treat. The restaurant gives a nod to yesteryear with its Murano glass chandeliers, linen table cloths, and stately columns. The wait staff is knowledgeable, attentive and classically dressed with toes and jackets. Service was impeccable. While they are willing to modify any dish to meet each patrons needs or personal tastes, the food was disappointing. My shrimp was prepared without being shelled. As a result, the sauce, breading and spices were far less enjoyable. Drinks were a bit pricey but they were generous in spirit. The price was a little higher than average but quality and ambiance are worth paying for. If the food did not disappoint us, we would be back with some frequency. I am not sure if that will be the case. It is certainly worth trying it for yourself.
Dragon Tea House
This is a fast casual place where you order at electronic menu near front door or directly with friendly cashier. Generous servings of food served very hot (be careful you don’t burn your tongue or mouth), delicious and cooked very well. Broccoli and carrots cooked to perfection retaining beautiful color and crunch. We each got a pint of chicken and broccoli with carrots. Its served with rice that I declined but, partner got. My partner also got a pint of vegetable soup and I got a pint of hot and sour soup. I was able to finish chicken and broccoli but had to take half of hot and sour soup home because it was making me sweat so much. Our meals were also served with a wonton package each along with 2 duck sauce packets, 2 soy sauce which I would decline on next visit as it was not used. We each got a complete set of plastic utensils fork spoon knife with napkin, pepper and salt. And also a fortune cookie each but, neither of us had a fortune message. Very good place will return to someday. Thanks
I ordered shrimp chow mein, and I literally received the order withOUT noodles whatsoever. All I got was a dish full of vegetables and noodles. The lady on the phone says there’s NO NOODLES for a chow MEIN dish??? The word ‘chow’ means stir-fried, and ‘mein’ means NOODLES. Help me make it make sense! Everywhere I’ve ever ordered chow mein has noodles, 100% of the time!
Pagoda
Fabulous Chinese food! Huge portions too. We ordered seven dishes for five people. It would easily have fed 10 or 12! The food itself was a very high-quality like the Chinese food I used to get years ago! I would order from this place again without hesitation and strongly recommend it.
The food handsdown best in town 😋....the lady that took the order I'm assuming was the owner was very pleasant and kind. The prices were fair and.the portion sizes were big . This is going to be our goto everytime .
Hong Kong City BBQ
I was globally unimpressed despite its affordability. The stuffed dumplings and dim sum were average, there was hardly any meat on the chopped pork ribs. The sauteed chicken portion was large but lacked taste and the spicy shredded pork was just green hot peppers piled over the meat. Good service. Will not drive all the way again for this.
Huge rave about this place and can't say I was thrilled. Service was good but food was decent. No wow and ribs were slim and dry. Don't think we'll be back.
China Star
This is a pretty decent Chinese takeout place that has the standard array of Hong Kong style dishes that you've come to love. Prices are decent, and they cut everything up pretty chunky, if that's your style. Can't really go wrong here.
I have to say this is the best Chinese food I have had in some time while living in South Florida for 30 years. I decided to order the Beef Chow Fun because it's been over 35 years since I've ordered this dish. My first time trying this dish, Beef Chow Fun, was while living in San Francisco and I thought it was amazing and I chose to order it this time and I'm glad that I did; it brought back good memories of S.F. Better than my first time. This will be my new place to order Chinese food. Crab Ragoon was tasty too along with veg fried rice. Nothing was disappointing. Be back for more.😊
P.F. Chang's
My first experience at this restaurant was bad. The place is located in the Brickell area, very close to the Brickell City Centre shopping mall. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. I got in around 4 p.m. on Thursday. The restaurant was half empty, so there was no line to get a table, and I had a choice of many tables to sit at; I picked one on the outside terrace. The restaurant menu is pretty big and has a nice selection of food. Also, there was a Happy Hour menu, but it didn’t have many items on it, and all of them were appetizers. I decided to try the Orange Chicken at this place, which I love and have pretty often. Originally, this meal comes with rice, but I asked my waiter if I could switch the rice for Lo Mein noodles, and the answer was positive, but I would have to pay some extra money for that, which was okay for me because I love noodles. I got my food 15 minutes after the waiter took my order. The orange chicken and the noodles came on two different plates, which was weird. Aesthetically, it looked awful, to be honest, like some cheap fast-food Chinese place would serve food. The orange chicken appeared decent, but its taste was just so-so. The chicken was slightly dry, sounded like it was overcooked a little bit, and it did not taste sweet and orangey like it’s supposed to; I could feel a lot of salty flavor for some reason. The noodles looked very boring; no veggies or sauce were added to them (usually, Lo Mein consists of some pieces of vegetables which give them some flavor, plus some soy sauce). As a result, they had no flavor and were dry. My food was a big disappointment! Price-wise, the orange chicken costs $19, and I was charged an extra $4.60 for the noodles. Is it worth it? Absolutely not! Honestly, the orange chicken and the noodles at “Panda Express” taste a lot better and cost less than at this restaurant. But I must mention that, in general, prices for food on the menu seemed somewhat reasonable. You can find many items on the menu which cost around $20, which is not bad for Miami. And the Happy Hour menu has items for like $7. After my bad experience with the orange chicken, I regretted that I did not pick the crab wontons and the dumplings from this menu, which I almost did, and I would have spent less money on these two items. Next, I want to mention my waiter, who took a lot of time to bring my glass of water after I placed my order (it took him almost 10 minutes to come back to me with the water). Moreover, he took almost 10 minutes to bring my bill, having served a few tables around me before. Plus, he did not go and charge my card right away; he brought back my card about 6 minutes later. I need to mention here that he was the only guy serving the whole outdoor area, which got completely busy with people by the end of my meal. At that point, a second waiter should have been there to help him! From what I saw when I was inside the restaurant, the place looked nice and very clean; my table was also ideally clean when I got there. The biggest plus of this business for me was that no Service Fee was automatically included in the bill like many restaurants in Miami nowadays have, and it is very annoying! So at this place, you are welcome to tip as much as you want. Honestly, I have no wish to come back to this restaurant; it left zero clue for me to return. And I would not recommend this place to other people. But if you still decide to visit it, trust me, do not order the orange chicken with Lo Mein noodles, which will probably disappoint you like it did me.
Visited P.F. Chang’s in Miami for dinner on my birthday, and it was such a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious, great vegetarian options, everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff was friendly, making it a special celebration.
China Lee Restaurant
I have to say first time coming around the area, Found this walking. I can’t believe that I’ve been living here for this long and haven’t been here.. Have to say this is down to earth good Family oriented food. Would bring me wife here, she would love this place and she Colombian and she’s super picky! AAA plus for me.
The food here is good, but my gosh was the service splendid. Special shoutout to Donna for being such an incredible server. Her attention to her guest are top tier, wow! Thank you so much for being as attentive as you were. You really make this place shine !
Fat Yin Restaurant
The food was surprisingly good. The portions are bigger than from what I've experienced compared to other chinese carryouts I've had. So for the price it wasnt bad at all. They didn't go super sweet on the sweet flavors which I appreciated and was just enought. The Sesame Chicken was made differently vs others- instead of being round it was more flat which I actually preferred since you get more "crisp" out of it and less chance of it being dry. I had which were all good! Hot & sour soup Chicken fried rice Sesame chicken Szechuan beef
This place is really amazing! Big portions, loaded fried rice, and flavorful meals, looks like it’s carry out only, they are fast as well 10-15 min and you are done!
Beijing Garden Chinese Restaurant
This is a take-out only restaurant. Order from a window, wait for your food which is cooked fairly quickly. I was so happy I chose to eat at Beijing Restaurant. I paid just $11.50 for beef and broccoli with special fried rice and I got so much food... Enough for 2 meals. The food was very flavorful as well, tender beef and delicious special fried rice. The food was cooked within 15 mins, I waited in my car for the food and before I knew it, it was ready. No complaints. I will DEFINITELY become a regular here.
Food was terrible the worst Chinese I’ve ever eaten. We ordered chicken curry sweet and sour chicken.the chicken balls had such a tiny piece of chicken in them you might as well call the batter balls. The chicken curry was just vegetables with the odd piece of chicken in it tasteless . The waiting area was dirty and it was not cheap.didn’t even give me my change
Mainland China Bistro
Would return in general. Food wasn't bad but wasn't omg delicious either. Crispy Steak and Bok Choy were my favorite dishes out of everything ordered. The least favorite were the dry, bland and lifeless chicken lo mein. Would absolutely not recommend. Overall gastronomic experience 5/10
The food is pretty good. It depends on what you order. The Wonton Soup was pretty good, the pancakes were really good, but the chicken was ok. The service was excellent and there are A LOT of options on the menu. I would say that if you have kids, you can share some of the entrees because they are a bit large. Overall, it was a cool place to visit. They do a little celebration with singing if you want to celebrate a birthday. It was overall pretty good and the place is clean. Worth a try.
