Panda Garden
I got the Thai shrimp basil lunch special. It’s great. Came out super quick. Portions are good size.
Great place for a pickup or delivery. Standard Asian foods done well and at a great price. It's perfect for picking something up after work to take home.
Jumbo China
Went there for the first time on 2/14/2025. Ordered take-out from the dinner menu. Had the combination Hunan Chicken, sesame chicken, lo mein, crab Rangoon, & hot & sour soup. The flavors were all great!!! There is only one set back I want to mention…. “The Lo Mein” is not my preferred dish & will not order it ever again. The noodles were spaghetti noodles & does not do any justice to the dish. I was told my order was will be ready in 30 mins (I know it’s an estimate) but I got there 30 mins later & waited an additional 30 + mins….
Awesome place to get take out Chinese food! Everything is made fresh after you place your order and ready within 10 minutes! Also love the lunch specials! Great food at good prices! WE have visite3d them numerous times, they have something for my entire family!
Jumbo China
Hit or miss with this place. Some items are good and some are NOT. This is the second time I ended up throwing most of the food away and I was very hungry. The CHICKEN WINGS are okay, but I’ve had way better. The shrimp fried rice had only 2 SHRIMP in it and was very crunchy and undercooked. I was so hungry I picked out all the peas, onions, and most of the carrots then threw away the other half. The VEGETABLE CHOP SOY was also very crunchy and undercooked. I fished out the BROCCOLI which was the only thing eatable. I also nippled on some of the carrots since I like raw CARROTS anyway. The CABBAGE in the EGG ROLLS were also crunchy. Very disappointed in the lack of flavor and tenderness in the entire dish. I know you may be busy but please cook your VEGETABLES longer! I’m sorry to say this but it was a waste of money. I won’t be coming back for a while.
I mean, it's Chinese takeout. As long as you keep your expectations adjusted to that, this place will serve you well!! I come here fairly often. Most recently I ordered the chicken with garlic sauce and it was really delicious. Sat in the restaurant for a while cuz for some reason the atmosphere was nostalgic to me. Good stuff
Lin's Garden
Overall Score: 1.2/10 – A standard Chinese takeout spot with easy online ordering and prompt service, but the low-quality chicken and lack of spice ruined the overall experience. Atmosphere and Service: 4.2/10 – The restaurant is a typical takeout-only spot with a messy and unpolished appearance. The menu offers a nostalgic Boston-style selection that could appeal to some diners. However, the standout positive was the seamless online ordering process, which included an email receipt, and the food was ready on time. General Tso’s Chicken: 2.9/10 – A major letdown that ruined the entire experience. The chicken was of poor quality, with a significant amount of hard cartilage making it unpleasant to eat. Despite selecting “medium” spice, the dish lacked any heat or chili peppers, resulting in no spiciness at all. The combination of these issues overshadowed any potential positives and made the dish highly unsatisfactory.
So far this is the best Chinese food we've found in the area. If you want fortune cookies, make sure to ask for them! Wonderful family owned and run take out business.
Hong Kong Restaurant
My first time visiting this place as it is a bit out of my normal travels, but I sure am glad I came in. The food was spectacular and exceeded my expectations. Right up front was a sign indicating they were short staffed which I greatly appreciated. That way the decision was mine. The food came out very quickly and pipping hot. This is a restaurant that deserves your patronage!
It's mostly carry out now due to difficulty staffing, sadly like so many restaurants. You are welcome to order food at the counter and eat in the restaurant, though. Every time I try something different, I find a new favorite dish. The food is delicious! Service is friendly and helpful. Ask if they have the "Chinese hush puppies" which are amazing! But you'll want to go early as the often run out of this popular "off menu" treat. The coconut shrimp is so good! Honestly, I haven't had anything I haven't loved, here. Our go-to for Chinese! UPDATE: Still my FAVORITE for Chinese food. Hot and sour soup is divine! I highly recommend Dragon and Phoenix! Edit to add: Tonight (1/15/24) we ate in and the food was amazing. The fried tofu with mixed vegetables was spicy and perfectly cooked. The green beans were crispy, the tofu was crispy outside and soft inside. Loved it!
Rainbow King
Stopped to charge and decided to get Chinese food because of the rating. This did not disappoint. I know it was gonna be good when I opened the white rice and it was perfectly fluffy. It's one of the best versions of American Chinese food I've had. The General Tso's chicken was perfectly cooked, great breading, and great sauce.
Stopped by to order take out. Only had to wait 15 min’s. $20 for two combinations (kung pao chicken and general Tso’s chicken) each came with rice and egg roll. G Tao’s chicken had way to much dough on the small pieces of chicken . My kung pao had no hot peppers and was therefore kind of bland. No dine-in, the chair cushions were worn out. With all the plexiglass it was hard to hear, even with the mic and speaker. But they took extra care to make sure they understood your order.
Chinatown Restaurant
I have to give these people 5 stars. The food is great my chicken and steak is never over done. Steamed dumplings and egg rolls are always great. Just great food and good staff
I’ve been eating here for 20 years or more and the foods always been good, it’s always been pretty clean and the owners/workers are friendly. The hibachi Steak is EXTREMELY GOOD!! Best I’ve had anywhere besides a Japanese Restaurant
Taste of China
I was in town for a tennis tournament and had takeout lunch from this place. Their hot and sour soup was excellent!
Ordered a pint of beef lo mein and chicken wings which was $16. Then when I get the food the wings seemed to have been refried. The beef and lo mein was old. Terrible and I used to stop by whenever I came through town. Never again
No 1 Chinese Restaurant(winterville)
It's the only Chinese takeout we eat in Greenville for many years. We eat here 3-4 times a month. Crab Rangoon just the way I like it. They do tofu well. My husband says it's the best Singapore rice noodle in town.10/10
Road tripped and passed by here recently. My family always crave Chinese food so we did a quick take out order to eat at the hotel. The food was delicious!
China Wok
China Wok on Langston Road in Winterville, NC, was a culinary surprise in many ways, though not all of them were pleasant. I ventured in, craving a comforting plate of Chinese cuisine, only to find prices slightly higher than the average for takeout. I ordered a modest serving of wings—just four pieces for a surprising $8. Although the wings were crispy and well-seasoned, I couldn’t shake the feeling that it was a tad steep for the quantity provided. On a more positive note, the beef lo mein was quite enjoyable; the noodles were cooked to perfection, and the beef was tender and flavorful, complementing the dish beautifully. However, what really caught me off guard was the service. Despite the restaurant not being overly busy, my order took an unexpectedly long time to arrive. As I waited, my anticipation began to wane, overshadowed by the clock ticking away. In retrospect, China Wok offers a mix of quality dishes and somewhat inflated prices, paired with a service time that could use some fine-tuning. While I left satisfied with my meal, I couldn't help but hope for a quicker turnaround on my next visit. Overall, it was a surprising experience, leaving me both satisfied and perplexed.
The worst/ driest boneless spare rib tips I have ever had. This was my first time trying them and probably the last.
Great Wall II
BLAND sums it up. General Tso was mushy and I asked for 4 out 5 spice level but was 1.5 Fried rice that came with combo meal was plain yellow rice. Egg roll nothing special but was crispy. Wife had lo mein w/pork and she thought it was also bland. Same with rice and egg roll. Take out was doing good business, so someone likes it.
Food was fantastic !! PuPu platter for (2 )was awesome, got a taste of everything. (Chicken wings & Ribs & Shrimp) were bang'n. Mixed veggies with the brown sauce & white rice delicious . My new fav spot. Staff super friendly. Ordered online with a breeze an packed up ready to go as I was walking in the door. Wife & I ate for 22.56 & we are stuffed. Thank You... Great Wall
Speedy Wok
Probably my favorite Chinese food in Greenville. Consistently delicious & they always pay attention to any special requests even with online orders. Great prices & portions.
My family has been coming to speedy wok for over 20 years. It’s always the same guy at the desk and even remembered my dad after 15-20 years every time. A few years ago my dad was in the hospital for 6 months and saw him again and he asked where my dad “Mr. Robertson” had been😭. Even asked why my dad didn’t order a certain dish anymore like usual, because my mom had died. The way we got treated like family here for years is unbelievable and still amazing to me. 10/10 Food, service, delivery. The best food place in Greenville hands down!!
