Jade Garden
This place has really fell off. Food use to be fresh and good. They really don't take pride in the food or service. Make sure you check your food before leaving i had a shrimp and broccoli but they didn't give me my rice. Where do you do that rice always come with these dishes. Chicken wings were little like drumettes and really overcooked. Will not be returning. This is not my 1st issue with this place.
All the food there is delicious. And friendly service.
No 1 Chinese Restaurant
There is no longer a dining room, so only to go orders. They offer online orders as well. Food is always very good. Served fresh and quick.
Take out is the only option now. It had been since the buffet was still an option that I’d eaten at No. 1. I decided to try it out again. The chicken wings were hot, crispy, and good. The egg roll was hot and crispy, but super bland. It was nothing but cabbage. No pork, no carrots, no celery, just cabbage. The General Tso’s was just okay at best. Not super crispy and the sauce was really sour. If you’re in a pinch for take out, it’ll work. That said, I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. It’s just okay.
Hunan
Stopped by here for dine in lunch. I ordered the boneless spare ribs (pork) lunch special which came with fried rice and egg roll. The boneless spare ribs was quite tasty and the fried rice was good. The portion may not be as generous as some other Chinese restaurant I have been in, but it was still a good deal for the price.
Perfection. I haven’t been here in years! But the quality of the food hasn’t changed. It’s really delicious and fresh. They were EXTREMELY quick for my families almost 100$ order. Only took 10-15 minutes. They also threw in free donuts! I will definitely be back and anytime I’m in Sanford and want Chinese-this is where I am stopping.
Taste Of China
Everything was over cooked! The teriyaki chicken was char broiled, the sweet and sour chicken was over cooked both were almost inedible. The chicken & broccoli was mushy and the white rice was sticky & gooey. I've quit eating there but decided to give them another chance. $50 wasted again! The pictures just cannot capture how awful this was.
I order from here often. The food is always good. The owner and the staff are always very nice do deal with. Very happy with them.
Golden China Restaurant
I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Every time I order here, it’s always hot & delicious! & if I make a specific request, they always comply & get it just right. & the woman at the front counter is always polite. KUDOS to the cook also!
They are the best! The lady that works there knows my order by heart. Very prompt. Reasonable but price, good service and most of all Great food!
Taste of China
They are pretty bad about answering the phone. I've tried calling many times for over an hour in the past and they don't answer the phone. But you can go there and they'll take your order. And they are decently quick to take care of you. Today I tried calling, no one answered as usual, drove down to try getting food and there is a paper in the windows saying they are closed for the next few days. It would be nice if their Google Business Profile said they were closed. Went to China Panda over by lowe's foods, looks like a better menu, will update on the quality of food.
Saw an employee cutting some kind of raw meat then walk over towards the register to get something from under the counter. He then went back to cutting the meat. Never washed his hands. Also, the waiting/ dining area is dirty. I will not be returning
phenix chinese restaurant
I have been in Fayetteville for over 20 yrs and never been to this place so I decided to go today because so many people said they were good. And they did not lie. By far this is the best Chinese takeout I have had. I got the sesame chicken with the cheese wontons and omg they were delicious. I will give them a 1000/1000. I will definitely be back. The lady at the front said they have been in business for 30 yrs and I see why. This is pure quality for real. Thank u all for the delicious meal
I have been searching for what I call "real Chinese food" for quite sometime. Since leaving NY well over 40 years ago now, there's no longer the benefit of the "mom and pop" businesses. Most all the Chinese food I've had has all tasted the same. I just happened to try this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. My first visit I tried the house special fried rice and spring rolls. The next time I had #10 lunch special (real Chinese style barbeque spareribs with an actual bone in it). I will continue to try them out and hope I won't get disappointed. For now they are my go to for the taste I remember when I lived in NY. I won't comment on the atmosphere as this is strictly a "to go" place.
Dragon House
I have eaten here for years and oder often for pick up. I ordered 6 shrimp egg rolls that are $2 each on the menu it also says $2 each. I get there to pick up and it is $16 plus dollars, So question. I am showed a sign they have tape to counterthat there is a .50 cent up charge per meal. Ok I get it, But they charges .50 cent per egg roll. Ok your sign says per meal not per very individual item purchased. If that is the case change your menu online and the paper menus you hand out because the price is $2 and that sign you have taped on your counter doesn't mean nothing if you place a order from the paper or from off line.
Worst EVER chicken teriyaki .....had literally no flavor. Obviously it's all dark meat they use ( being cheap) I don't like dark meat guess that tells me to ask what they use. Horrible, Horrible ... I could've made better at home.
Great Wall
Placing the order went well and I got my food within a couple minutes. The rice and lo mein had a weird taste. It tasted like it was cooked in reused old oil. The broccoli was also plain and had no taste to it. The only good thing I had was the fried chicken wings and the chicken broccoli plate.
Went at 1pm Got a spare rib combination, egg roll was freshly made pork fried rice was could have used a tad bit more flavor but with soy sauce it’s fine could have been softer. Spare ribs could have also used more flavor but the cuts and cook was perfect.
Asian Cuisine
Management is never available. My family and I spent $46 on lunch. The food was horrible. Rice was mushy and tasteless, no way was there any fried rice in our dishes. They all tasted like day-old white rice covered in soy sauce. The crab Rangoon was cream cheese with maybe green onion, I honestly don't know. I do know there was no crab in or around it and it was tough and rubbery. Hard to chew and the top of the so-called crab Rangoon was inedible. The family was just dumping the food in the garbage. It happened so fast, I didn't even think about taking the food back, because we are not the type of people to order food and take it back. It is appalling to drag uneaten food back to a restaurant. This is the second time I spoke to management about their food. It will not be a third time. I think that the health department should give them a visit on food preparation. This food was not freshly prepared. And they know that.
Delicious Christmas Eve wings, hibachi, egg rolls, lo mein. They handle lots of take out and it was a pleasure to find this open to enjoy together with family.
Hong Kong
If I could leave zero stars I would. Hong Kong has just lost a customer. Chicken old and smells sour. Called for a refund that I never received. Waste of money straight in the trash
It is one of the better places in town for hot and sour soup! Shrimp Lo Mein and Sesame Chicken were tasty. There was not a long wait either, which was nice.
China Garden
Prices on the Omni e menu are I correct but still worth the value. Customer service was very nice. Food was filling and delicious!
My shrimp and broccoli, House special rice was better than I expected. A welcomed surprise. I've been so disappointed lately with the Chinese restaurants around cedar creek.i shall return.
