Wats going on y'all still open or shutdown now? Last time I was here the whole recipe for Mongolian beef must have changed bc the new chef missed the whole boat. From what I understand the older fella got hurt and retired???? Not sure, but hey new guy stick with the old recipes that's what WE like
Food tastes ok, nothing special... also the value for for food isn't thrilling either (might give it another go, but not much motivation)
Joy Wok
Ordered by phone. Someone in another review mentioned that the women always quotes "10 mins" for every phone order. They were right...she said, "10 mins"! 🤣 The entrance into the restaurant has 2 steps down to the main level. I dont see how someone in a wheelchair could make it down. The dining area isnt much but its offered. The lady working was super friendly. The food was decent. I say this a lot lately......Not the BEST, but far from the worst! Everything was hot and freshly made. The portion size wasnt the greatest, but what I got ended up being enough. Thank you for the quick service and fresh food. Im sure we'll be back again sometime when we're back in the area. 🚛
The service is great it’s always either 10 to 20 minutes. The atmosphere is great there is paintings that are really cool. And the food is top notch Chinese so good and flavory if you’ve never had it try it I bet you will give 5 stars to
Chen's Fusion
Worst Chinese Restaurant I have ever eaten in. Their Buffet is a joke. Not much to eat on bar.salad bar had very little on it and only 1 kind of dressing. They had 1 kind of Sushi I told cashier that I was not happy her reply was we have been here 50 yrs I don’t understand why anyone would eat there. Maybe they sell meals and they are Ok but they certainly are not a good Buffet. I’m sure I will never eat there again !!!
I am absolutely appalled. First of all my friend ordered chicken fried rice and found 3 small rocks/pebbles in there (seen below), and unfortunately chipped her tooth. Second of all her claimed to be chicken, was indescribable mystery meat. It was slippery, had zero flavor, and was tough. Third of all I had ordered their Szechuan chicken and normally and also listed on their website, it comes with "broccoli, onions and red bell peppers," but mine was filled with the same nasty chicken my friend had, zucchini, carrots, baby corn, and a vegetable that smelled like a rest stop bathroom. Lastly, the costumer service was awful. WILL NOT BE BACK.
Panda Hut
Have only done take out but food is good. Got sweet and sour chicken, general tao chicken. Tried to eat there once but only have dine in certain hours and we missed it. Take out is pretty quick as well as taking order. Friendly, reasonable prices!
Pleasantly surprised. Food was good clean tasting. Wontons were thin noodles and delicious. Sesame chicken very tasty. The fried rice actually have a few veggies, could use more but gets my vote!
Number One China
I tried to order a kung pao chicken extra spicy without any of the vegetables except all I wanted was mushrooms. The girl who answered the phone said no they can’t do that and I could only get extra mushrooms 🤣 I got 8 thin slices of chicken 2 mm thick (and nothing was spicy even though I asked extra spicy), and the worst fried rice of my life as a side. Mostly what you will get is a ton of broccoli and carrots with a side of dry yellow rice.
A lot better than I thought it would be. Good food! Huge portions! We got way too much- good leftovers. Most of their business is takeout, but we ate in. They do have several tables and chairs.
Lotus Chinese Restaurant
The beef and vegetables were delicious the rice could've been better. I didn't really care for the crab ragoon but I think it's because I'm pregnant my husband loved them though!! Thanks so much! Very nice service!!!
When I ordered the large and thought they meant a large portion, not a large container. All the juice was in the bag. The chicken was delicious but the rice was terrible. I will not be returning at $16 for portions that small
Great Wall
This Family owned Chinese restaurant is fast, friendly and delicious. It reminded me of what good Chinese comfort food should taste like. I ordered the General Tao’s chicken and the Shrimp with garlic sauce. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. The shrimp dish has lots of veggies that was nicely chopped and huge pieces of shrimp in there. I will definitely visit here next time I am in Danville.
I ordered the shrimp and scallop dinner and it was terrific. I had enough left over for the next day's lunch. Great tasting Chinese food. Fast and friendly great service. Highly recommend.
No 1 Kitchen
Always wonderful! I've been a patron of this restaurant for many years. I used to live in Rock Hill and frequented the restaurant almost daily. Now that I've moved from Rock Hill I don't get to enjoy them as often, but I always visit when I'm passing through. My favorite is the bourbon chicken, but I've never had anything that wasn't great. Everything's always fresh and prepared quickly. My order has always been completed accurately too.
I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants, buffets, take out, dine in, and this one was probably the worst. If not, certainly one of the worst. Ordered General Tso, white rice and a sweet tea. The Tso had a weird texture, kinda slimy. The tea had like a hint of dish soap taste to it. The part I'm most upset about is the price. For $14 i was expecting either a larger quantity or a better quality, but instead it's just expensive low grade chinese food.
Big Wok II
First time here and did pick up order. Food was good and the crab Rangoon was the best I’ve ever had. They fill them more than other places and you feel like you really get your moneys worth. I got the orange chicken with shrimp fried rice and the crab Rangoon. I highly recommend.
Ordered Mapo, was delivered, it was watery, not flavorful and in a soup container. My daughters sweet and sour chicken came with no sauce on it! Also there wasn't a separate container that the sauce was in. Was my hubby's bday, thought we'd order in, what a disaster! Ruined my night. Tried to call the restaurant, they were closed, what a bust!
Big Wok Fort Mill
This was our first visit here, it has a good rating so we were excited to try it. The guy at the counter was friendly. We ordered take out. There was no one dining inside, but a few people came in for take out while we were waiting for our food to be done. The food isn’t bad, but it isn’t anything to write home about either. We got the orange chicken with fried rice, Mongolian beef with fried rice, 2 crispy chicken eggrolls, and an order of crab rangoons. The serving size of the orange chicken and beef were pretty big, and they were packed full. I was hoping the orange chicken would be a little crispy, they weren’t, but it was still ok. The Mongolian beef was ok. The fried rice was missing vegetables. We expected carrots and peas, but there was just egg and chopped white onion. Again, it was ok, not great. The crispy egg roll was just chicken, no veggies either, like we were expecting. Was ok. The crab rangoons I think were the best part of the meal. Overall, I will try other Chinese restaurants the next time we want Chinese.
Big Wok is a fantastic restaurant! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, making every visit a great experience. The food is always cooked to order, fresh, and delicious. One thing that really stands out is how clean the restaurant is , you can tell they take pride in their space. Plus, you always get great value for your money. Highly recommend checking them out!
China Kitchen
There's only 2 men working here. They are everyday from 2:30 - 9:30 pm. They have THE BEST PRICES IN TOWN. Their WOK IS PRICELESS. so many amazing dishes have come out of this kitchen and I'm so glad they exist. I always order the hunan chicken, general tso chicken, sweet and sour chicken, lo mein plain/special/or vege. the main dishes come with fried rice and a pork egg roll. TIP: call ahead and give them an hour & 15 mins. It's carry out only.
There is usually a long wait but it is worth it, the amount of food you get for the price is great and it actually tastes good. My favorite thing right now is their hot and sour soup and lo mein, it's so good
Delicacy Chinese Bistro
This place was AWESOME! The roast duck is even better than Flushing NYC and it blew us away! The beef chow fun was full of wok hay and we couldn’t stop eating. Our server was so friendly. Definitely recommend. If you think this place is bad you are ordering the wrong things!!!
Update: We ate inside for dinner and I did ask for fewer vegetables because I hate being wasteful when I know others struggle sometimes with food security. Very happy with the portion size and my request was definitely met. I really enjoy the quality and taste of the rice here definitely 5+ stars and even better its consistently amazing. Drinks are bottled, but they bring you glasses with ice so it was still nice, just be aware its a set amount of soda. Also the server checked on us more often then we needed, but I must say they were super kind and thoughtful. Really enjoyed still getting fortune cookies at the end of our meals. Overall I would give this place a 4.5 / 5 for consistently great food and a kind staff. Wayyyy too many vegetables in this lunch order of mongolian chicken and fried rice! Some veggies are okay but there shouldnt be a 1/3 chicken to 2/3 veggie ratio when I didnt actually order vegetables. 4.5 star flavor, 5 star rice, 3 stars for 1/3 portion of chicken :(
