The food was good. This is more of a takeout place. There was only a little space to sit and eat. The Crab Ragoons were very good. We also got Sesame Chicken and Orange Chicken. The breading was fine, and the sauce was okay, but nothing spectacular. But if you are looking for a decent Chinese place, we had a good experience here.

Just found this gem. They have some of the best Chinese food I've had in a long while! Very good brown sauce, high quality chicken and beef, and the crab rangoon are sweet and crispy. We got the garlic chicken, cashew chicken and beef lo mein. All were just delicious and were enough for two+ meals. Twenty minute drive from where we live, but we both agree that it's well worth the drive!! Definitely try them out!

Just moved to the area, have tried a few places for Chinese take out.. But this place here ... The food was AMAZING we will definitely be returning...might have found a new family Favorite restaurant for the area!! Thank you guys for the amazing food.

Mom and Pop shop so love to support. Happy Family was a bit bland, Steamed dumplings were fine. Cost was ok, enough food to feed 2 so I call it even.

Omg the CRAB RANGOO is to die for. They put more filling in theirs that I’ve ever had!! I ordered those and shrimp fried rice. Yummy will become a regular🙋🏻‍♀️

I'd give this place a 10, if I could. The lady who took my order held the door open on the way out, also offered to take my food to the car(on crutches after a knee surgery). Got home and the food was still steaming hot, tasted really fresh to. Will be my new go to spot.

I love the self serve hot pot model. It allows customer to select their own ingredients, choose a broth, and pay by weight. It’s 15.99 per lb at Movoc, minimum weight 0.9lb. They offer five hotpot soup base choices and other specials like dry mix, stir fry, mala town. You can get free rice if dine in. At this visit, I got the mushroom (non spicy) and sour and spicy (level 1 spicy). I loved both of the broth flavors. However, my hotpot got cold pretty quick. I saw they do have red bowls with tea light candles inside working like a food warmer, but I wasn’t provided one so…..I had no idea how long it can keep the food stay hot. I noticed staffs refilled ingredients constantly. However, there wasn’t any labels in front of the ingredients … so I felt like it was a guessing game/IYKYK when picking ingredients. Seatings will be an issue during peak hours since it’s first come first service. You won’t get the seat until after you pay. The restaurant was clean. Service was friendly.

Glad I tried this restaurant with a friend today, it's a gem on Delmar. They have three cooking options: Mala soup (5 different soup bases to choose from), spicy dry mix and stir fried Mala pot. I ordered spicy dry mix and my friend ordered Mala soup with oil splash spicy soup base, we both love it. They have other soup bases such as tomato soup, mushroom soup, sour&spicy soup and regular spicy soup. I highly recommended the marinated beef/chicken, beef shank, shrimp and all the veggies (great selection of mushrooms, wood ear, seaweed, tofu, etc). Tasted great with their special sauce! The entire restaurant is well-lit and sparkling clean. Price is quite affordable, about $20-25 per person. Beverage is only $0.99 each, including Fiji bottled water. Rice is free. We’ll definitely come back and try a different soup base next time.

This was a great dining experience of unique flavors. The menu is full of savory, cultural dishes, appetizers and some familiar favorites that are sure to please your taste bud's palate. There's also a good selection of vegetarian dishes. The drink menu has a large array of flavor combinations that will please the imagination. Noodles come in three different styles: House, Hand Pulled or Hand Shaved. Definitely try the Fluffy Ice dessert. This eatery is sure to please and have you coming back for more. I'll definitely be returning. My advice for dining in... make sure to put your name on the waiting list before arrival (average wait time is 10/15 minutes).

The music choice here was a bit aggressive for dining out. The food was great, be careful of ordering a lot, the portion sizes are massive. The handmade wontons and green beans were my favorite. I loved the process of the hand pulled noodles. It was interesting to see that you can see the chefs making them behind a viewing window. When you walk in, you can buy a bubble tea at the store or order it at the table.

I ordered Pei Wei for delivery and the chicken in my dish was raw! I called the store and their response was extremely underwhelming. After asking for a manager I heard a lot of giggling in the background while I was waiting for someone to come to the phone. I’m not even sure the manager apologized or stated they would ensure it didn’t happen again until I commented that was why I was calling. To make matters worse because I ordered through a 3rd party app, I didn’t even get a full refund.

In the past I have strictly gotten Pei Wei for takeout. Usually through grubhub. Today, May 2nd, I decided to dine in. I must say how relieving it was to have such a casual atmosphere. You order at the counter. It’s like fast food but East Asian. After you order, you get a number sign that lets the food runners know who gets which order. It’s so low key, and I love it. Typically restaurants with any Asian food are sit down restaurants with servers working for tips. It’s nice to have a more casual environment with good food, just without the sit down aspect. I love the food. This visit, I got their spicy drunken noodles with tofu along with a four count of spring rolls.

This is my first ordering from here. I ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken dinner with vegetable fried rice; it comes with an egg roll, an order of orange chicken by itself, and 2 vegetable rolls with a sprite. All for about $34 for delivery. Which is not bad. This food is great. I’ll be ordering again soon. Thanks Zang Chi!

Very nice service. The food had an odd flavor.

It was our first time ordering from New China and WOW was it good!! The best bourbon chicken we ever had. The crab Rangoon was even good leftover and cold. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. The owners are exceptional and friendly.

All the best food spots in STL are in questionable locations! 🤣🤣 I grew up eating Ho's, so I'm definitely biased, but it's definitely a great spot for Asian food! The staff is sassy, but for good reason. They have to deal with the characters in my old neighborhood. Great food here if you are in the area!

Got the veggie fried rice and it was wonderful! I have been seeing the owner for years and never tried her food. Glad I was able! Will return!

If you’re driving down Grand Boulevard, this is a great place to stop and have a bite or if you’re on the rush, you can order it to go. My fiancé and I went here after failed attempts of finding somewhere to sit down and eat luckily this place had multiple seating. When we sat down, we were greeted in everything by this nice young handsome man. We ended in when we left. We made sure to leave him a generous tip. He made sure that we had all condiments like soy sauce, sweet-and-sour sauce, and hot pepper seasoning for our food. And the portions were so big. My fiancé had to get a to go plate The food was delicious. It was nice and fresh. The flavors were extravagant. I would recommend it for sure. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We will be back! We ordered, honey chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, and Rangoon’s.

Unfortunately they have switched owners and the quality of food is not the same! This was definitely my go to place for Chinese food on the south side. I hadn’t had it in over a year so I was REALLY craving it. Ordered my usual, 4 piece wings and whole order of plan fried rice. The rice was soggy and had no flavor whatsoever. And the wings had too much breading and were SMALL! The wings used to be a lot bigger. The staff was friendly so I hate to leave 3 starts but as someone that has been ordering from here for over 10 years I was a little disappointed.

⸻ I’ve lived in Clayton all my adult life and had never ordered from this place before. On Easter Sunday, there weren’t many dining options available, so I decided to give it a try and ordered a few items. The Mongolian beef was more like a soup, with an odd greenish tint meat and the meat tasted like it had been microwaved. The noodles were completely flavorless and also seemed to have been microwaved. By the time I drove home and opened the food—about half an hour later—it was still burning hot, which confirmed my suspicion.microwave I was surprised to see the cooks, who appeared to be Mexican, using the microwave for nearly every dish in restaurant . It’s disappointing to see even some Asian restaurants relying so heavily on the microwave. I was genuinely shocked.

Large portion of combination plate. Ordered to-go general two’s chicken. Large crispy chicken pieces, broccoli, good sauce but not spicy (ordered regular, it said spicy). White rice is basic good white rice, not jasmine. Crab ragoon only sweet cream cheese filling, placed in same container as food, causes them to get softer. Still tastes very good. Great price for portion of food! Placed order online. Easy.

Came in not knowing what to order, asked for a recommendation that was spicy but also savory. They recommended the teriyaki chicken. It was delicious, also a very big portion (picture is about 1/3 of the total food) Extremely good customer service throughout my dining experience. Really fast service as well

This is my favorite chinse restaurant. The food is great, and the servers are very attentive. It seems a bit pricey, but the flavors are worth it. I always have the Seafood Sizzling Bowl. The rice is prepared in toasted, crisp waffer like chunks that compliments the shrimp, pee pods, and slivers of beef. It is in a busy location across from the Galleria Shopping Mall. There is off street parking available just south of the restaurant. If you exit behind the buildings, there is a stoplight for an easy left turn on Brentwood Avenue.
