Very happy that I got to try Royal China with friends during a recent business lunch. The lunch special is a great deal - it included a beef entree, rice, and noodles...all for an affordable price. I can't wait to go back and try more items!

Service at this Chinese restaurant was exceptional! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel like valued guests. The food was a culinary delight - each dish was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was stunning. The ambiance was perfect for a cozy dinner, with soft lighting and traditional Chinese decor that set the mood for a fantastic evening. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates impeccable service and delectable Chinese cuisine.

Wow what a nice find tucked away in this little strip mall. We have not found any Chinese restaurants we really thought highly of but boiling pot is really trying hard to prove itself. We had pot stickers which were meaty and large plus pork shumai and it was also very nice and large. Really nice quality and size. Then we ordered the house special shredded beef and the shrimp with walnuts and both were fresh and I think high quality for Chinese restaurants. We also had the house special fried rice to share which was so good as well. In the end we ordered too much food because the portions were generous! So good and fresh. But we have a second dinner from the take home boxes.

Very surprised this place has authentic Chinese cuisine. I ordered beef chow fun, fried green beans and seafood hotpot last night, 干炒牛河粉,干煸四季豆角,非常地道, very authentic which I haven’t tasted for years…strong recommend this place; the service is great, we paid by card but forgot to take it back, the young server even chased to the parking lot returned to us… so we came back for lunch in the very next day. Great food and awesome service

The food was good better than other Chinese restaurants. 3 1/2 stars. I have been to this restaurant a few times and will go back until I find my favorite Chinese restaurant. This can't be the best Chinese food place in Santa Rosa or could it? I need to do more research, and my rating might change.

In Santa Rosa and noticed the China Village Restaurant, where Rita's Chinese Restaurant used to be. I was going to stop at Gary Chew's Chinese Restaurant but I always have a hard time parking my truck in the downtown area, so the Chinese Village is it. What a great decision, the food was amazing, cooked perfectly, and delivered piping hot. The service was just as amazing, as was the cost. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

I tried this Chinese restaurant for the first time last week, and must say they had the best potstickers I’ve ever had! That’s an awesome accomplishment! Their egg flower soup on the other hand was very bland and came scorching hot. It was so hot that it burned the plastic container it came with!! I had to wait 30 minutes just to be able to eat the soup… they need to fix that.

If you like classic 80s/90s Chinese food, this is the place! It's predictable in a good way, and the prices are really great. The service is friendly. Really, one of the best Chinese restaurants in Sonoma County.

When hungry and can’t find enough eateries around, Hunan Village works just fine. Pretty much same flavors/sauces in all of our dishes, so couldn’t really tell apart from one dish to another.

I got the veggie delight from the lunch menu and the food was decent i thought the cabbage in the spring rolls was a bit under cooked and had a bland taste, the spicy mustard sauce was the worst I've ever had though and was watered down, very little flavor and didn't taste good at all, the soup had flavor but was a bit more sour then what I'm use to. Also there were no condiments (soy sauce, salt, pepper, vinegar, or chili oil) on the tables and needed to ask for the items specifically to get them. Overall the experience wasn't bad but it definitely didn't leave any desire to give it another shot.

Amy's Peking Palace 0

I have been coming to Amy’s for many years, the food had been good despite there being rumors of questionable quality of the food and this Wednesday I can confirm the food is not okay. After eating half of a medium sized box of sweet and sour chicken I discovered fly eggs inside of the chicken and peaking out of it. I threw up and have had bad stomach pains. I’m terrified to just think about how much of this disgusting food I’ve eaten. I went back to Amy’s to tell them and they themselves said they didn’t know what it was but they would give me my money back, a new order, or free food but I refused it all. The cook tried to persuade me it was normal and possible flour eggs or corn starch that wasn’t mixed well but we all know it isn’t, they opened up a few piece of the chicken to show me it was the same but clearly it wasn’t. I remained calm and friendly through out the whole ordeal which is recorded, uneasy about the situation I looked up fly eggs at home and YES! Amy’s Peaking Palace served chicken and maybe more food infested with fly eggs. Definitely will never go again especially after how untrue their statement of explanation was.

This place has bugs all over! We saw roaches, some weird beetle, and ants. All while we waited to get a takeout ordered. We left n didn't eat from here

11/10 atmosphere. Staff is sincere and kind. The onions have an authentic crispy char and enormous Easter eggs of ginger are a standout style. It’s a fun BYOB spot too in Sonoma Wine Country. This visit we chose @maisondesplaisances

Out of all the places in the bay area that I've tried different versions of the General's Chicken, this is the best! It has the best blend of sweet and spicy, and it never disappoints. Whenever the line crew is in the area this is our go to spot!

Amazing service! Delicious & authentic!. My kids ordered szechuan noodles, and they were flavorful! Appetizer Chicken fried rice so good !. The orange chicken was crispy and juicy at the same time. The seafood combination had Buckjoy broccoli shrimp barbecued pork chicken and noodles super yummy! Midnight snack was delicious last night!

I order the dim sum combination and it was very tasty. The combination fried rice was also tasty. You can taste the "dragon breath" meaning The Wok heat coming out while cooking. The staff is really attentive and friendly. I will come back and try their other dishes.

I'm from out of town and was looking for an authentic Cantonese Restaurant for Chinese New Year. Fantasy Restaurant hit all the right criteria points! There menu is excellent and flavor profiles on their dishes (the ones I had) were on point! You won't be disappointed coming this hole in the wall restaurant. For reference I ordered (and yes I had a ton of leftovers): Chicken and Imitation shark fin soup 1/4 lbs crispy pork bell 1/4 lbs bbq pork 1/2 princess chicken 1/2 bbq duck Snow pea leaves Vegetable chow mein Ginger and scallion lobster Salt and pepper pork chops

First time here and wow! I live close enough to walk and am shocked this restaurant is not rated higher. Flavor profile so good overall. 1. Sesame beef 🤩 5 star 2. Potstickers good 4 star 3. Honey prawns 🤩 5 star 3. Hot and sour soup alright 3 star add soy sauce or too bland. The restaurant was packed and should be rated higher. In the future plan to try the duck, green beans and pork belly. So many great dishes.

The service was great, except they tried bringing me prawns I didn't order and then brought the bill with the prawns still on it. They were quick to rectify the situation both times, but it is worth noting. The food we did order came in large portions and taste amazing! We ordered orange chicken and Princess Chicken. We'd go back, again, staying on top of what they bring to the table and reading the bill carefully.

I rated them high in all areas, so why 2 stars? Been coming here, mostly for lunch, for over 3 years. This last visit, I arrived at 3:03pm. Lunch is 11-3. I asked if I could still get lunch. The guy said "lunch is over". He's seen me well over a dozen times. I wasn't 15 min past, I was 3. I've been involved in hospitality in one form or another, on & off, for 53 years, this is not what you do to a regular customer. A restaurant is different than a grocery store, which needs to have a pretty hard "close" time. Restaurants to if a kitchen is closing down for end of day clean up. This was lunch and the kitchen was not cleaning up. So, went to the competition across the way from City Chopsticks and was happily greeted. Very good food as well.

Canton 0

This is really good Chinese food. We got the braised eggplant, beef with fresh vegetables and chicken, shitake mushrooms & snow peas. They said we had to wait awhile but the food came fairly fast. Excellent service. I will definitely come again.

We stopped in to try Canton Canton, and at first glance, the restaurant looked very clean and had a fun, interesting menu. We went in as a party of five around 5:00 p.m. and noticed there were only two other people dining inside. However, we were told we would need to wait 45 minutes to an hour because they had a lot of to-go orders. It was disappointing, especially considering how empty the dining room was. The woman who greeted us was not friendly and didn’t make us feel welcome at all, which really affected the overall experience. If you're planning to try this place, I recommend ordering takeout instead of dining in—or be prepared for a long wait even if the restaurant looks empty.
