Overall a good restaurant with affordable full meals. The pricing is very good for the portions you will get. They also have a wide variety of authentic and unique foods. You might have to order ahead for specific items such as the goose. The service was quick.

We came to this restaurant for the first time for dinner. To our surprise, the food was really good and authentic Chinese BBQ pork and BBQ duck. The interior decor it's a typical Chinese family restaurant. The manager and waitress were very friendly and polite. The service was good and attentive. We will definitely come back again to try dishes.

We ordered the shrimp chow fun with egg and the shrimp was too salty, fishy tasting and had a sour aftertaste at the end. It seemed as though the shrimp was not fresh and on the verge of spoiling. The noodles had no wok hei despite being chow fun. After telling the staff about it, instead of preparing something else, they only gave a 5 dollar discount. The wonton noodles are nothing to write home about but the fried seafood noodles were okay. Afterwards the staff did give a plate of fruits and fortune cookies but it was still a disappointing dinner as the shrimp was rather unpleasant.

We came with four people. This place offer a variety of Cantonese dishes. Their duck was very good. Their stir fired noodles has a great amount wok 气. Very reasonably priced. And great portions

Service and atmosphere are great. Experience varies with the food you ordered. Last time we came we got lamb stew and crispy egg tofu and mushroom stir fry, they were amazing! Highly recommend. This time we got steamed cod and egg/shrimp chow fun, the cod tastes bland and like rubber. Do not recommend. Shrimp was pretty tender, tastes good.

Wow. So delicious. We had the black pepper steak udon, Singapore noodle, and egg tofu with assorted mushrooms. Wow. I have never had such lovely egg tofu before. Soft like custard inside. Tender, great texture on the outside. Mushrooms were superb. Everything was so good. They gave us a free soup with big soft chunks of winter melon and some meaty bone with tender pork. There is also a fantastic breakfast deal. Two choices for 9.99.

busy Hong Kong style cafe. Best dish is Macau style curry beef brisket. We got the curry fish ball as appetizers, taste alright could be better. Everything else is pretty good except the Hainan chicken, I never have cold hainan chicken before, it’s weird to me.

We visited for lunch with 5 people and got seated quickly. The ordering took a bit of time, a lot of good options so that's on us. The food came very quickly, everything was delicious. Well seasoned and plenty if "wok" power. The service could put off some people, but it felt like a very authentic HK "no time for your BS" attitude; it was great lol. I would definitely come back, so many good dishes I haven't tried yet.

Parking can be tight but we found a spot! Service was pretty good and they were very attentive (I wonder if it helped that my friend spoke canto). I haven’t had the food in awhile here (i mostly only come for desserts) but i was pleasantly surprised! It was delicious!! We got a seawood ground pork with egg rice dish, lettuce wraps (good but messy), and garlic fried chicken wings. And finally, got the mango tapioca drink (my favorite) :0)

I am a regular customer of this location. Some staffs work long know me well. I like the food. The place is clean. Most staffs are friendly except some new staffs who are not knowledgeable. This message is mainly for the e-card business. Not all staff are familiar with the operation of the e-card. So I am unable to use an e-card to pay for an order and I am unable to increase the balance to an existing e-card when this staff doesn't know how to do it. It has happened to me a few times that I was told to use e-card when someone knows how to handle it. Also, I was told that e-card is unpopular, so she doesn't know how to process it. I don't have any problem using e-cards in other stores. When they don't know the work, they are not friendly. They are good at lying to provide wrong information to make an excuse. They can be very rude, they don't apologize. The customer service can be so nasty. It has happened to me that: 1) I asked for a popular item, the staff said: " I don't nothing about it." She is one of those who is unfamiliar with the e-card business. I cannot use e-card every time when she is on duty. 2) As I was suggested by a staff who knows me well to add more money to my existing e-cards, 10% off for each $100 increase, she is familiar with the e-card business, but I don't know her schedule, I am unable to have her to do this for me so far. On 3/17/2025 around 2 PM, I encountered another staff who is even worse that the other one. She told me that existing e-card is not allowed to increase the balance. I have to purchase a new e- card if needed. I told her what her colleague had told me. She asked me to come back when she is here. Am I suppose to find it out by calling the store everyday? It sounded so ridiculous! How come they are so unknowledgeable! They should have been trained to know the business. I was upset. I said: "Crazy!" She then called the office to find out that existing e- card is allowed to increase the balance. I wanted to add a few hundred dollars. She said that I can only add $100. I said: "That's not true!" She started getting super rude. She said: "You insulted me by saying "Crazy". I don't have to do business with you. All our conversations are recorded by the camera." She banged her hand on the counter, put my e-card down on it. She started with poor manner to upset me. She owes me an apology. I've filed a complaint to the company. I hope that the company will really look into this issue by replaying the recording. It is been a hassle of using e-card in this restaurant. I am so fed up with it. Why did I have to be treated so badly because of your unqualified staff?

Chong Qing Special Noodles is the first Sichuan restaurant I’ve been to and I feel as if I’ve already set the bar too high for any future Sichuan restaurants because the food here was nothing short of incredible. The Chongqing Noodles were unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before — the tingling, numbing sensation the mala leaves in your mouth is near-revelatory. And while the noodles were excellent as you’d expect, the steamed soup dumplings were equally as impressive (and better than anything I’ve ever had at Din Tai Fung). No matter where you are in LA, the trip out here is worth it.

The food here is fantastic if you like spicy and numbing. The handmade Chong Qing special noodles are my favorite. The gele mountain fried chicken is one of the best I've had, the Dan Dan noodles are delicious, we've had several versions of their dumplings and love the spicy and sour ones. The staff here are very friendly.

The menu looks very similar to a popular Sichuan restaurant in Alhambra. Even the dishes. Spicy but not as spicy 🌶️ as the original restaurant. Chinese-style service. Paper utensils. Easy parking and no wait. Big dishes and reasonable prices.

Flavor is pretty good but servings are smaller compared to Rong He, all veggies and fillers beneath the meats up top.

Love the bamboo and pork soup. Fast service. Tasty food. Their decor was reminiscent of old Shanghai

Love this restaurant. Nicest staff, including the teen waiter, and great food at great prices.

This was my first time at Wah Sing Dim Sum. I wanted a quick bite and saw this place had good reviews. And those reviews were right! I'm not a pork eater, so I was a little limited, but the Har Gow, a classic, was spot on! Well seasoned, fresh, good size/portion. The shrimp and chive dumplings, also delicious! I also got the chicken buns and shrimp rice noodle which were delicious. The only thing was the shrimp egg rolls, I think I may have gotten the wrong thing, because they looked to be filled with ground meat (not sure if it was pork) and not shrimp. But I was told they were good too! They do have a few tables and chairs inside to eat there. But it looked like everyone was getting takeout. You just walk in, fill out a sheet with your order, pay and wait for a very short time for your food. Very quick and easy, no nonsense kinda place. Which I very much appreciated! I will definitely be back to Wah Sing Dim Sum when I'm in the area. It was great!

Service was good and most importantly, almost all dim sum was great! It's one of my favorite places in San Gaberial Valley!

I’m impressed! Love their buns - super moist, chewy, and fresh!! The cabbage appetizer is tasty, sour/sweet :) Friendly service. Packed well. Food was still hot when we got home. Authentic northern Chinese food with Korean influences. I think the owners are Korean-Chinese. They are known for their baos 水煎包!so fluffy and meaty. Everything we tried was very good and authentic. 鍋貼 - 皮薄餡多~ 韓式炸醬麵 - 面很勁道

The food here is amazing! Pan-fried beef is often overdone and pretty chewy, but here it was amazingly tender. The shrimp and pork soup and pan-fried pork buns were also cooked really well and seasoned properly; none of the food was made unnecessarily sweet. Beyond that, the staff was really, really nice, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the good, and the restaurant is small and pretty cozy. I highly recommend it!

Quick note - Didn't eat here (thank goodness). Review covers the service and atmosphere, but I guess you can say the place left a bad taste in my mouth. I asked a simple question about a business next door to the female staff closing up the restaurant. She had a terrible attitude all without any provocation - practically shouted me out the door. Who would want to try any food from such a vile personality?

Authentic and CHEAP! It's pretty close to authentic Chinese as it gets no general tsos here. And did I mention cheap?! Holy moly 4 items plus rice plus tea plus soup for like 7 something what?! The portions are huge too!!! Check em out. Bring a Chinese friend lol

A time capsule from the 2010s Chinese cafe. Smoking and non-smoking, open late, open generous parking, old school coffee/tea prep in the dining area. Pros and cons associated with all that. Smokes spill inside from the patio, thick tea you could taste from just the air. Service during my late visit was good. The food was split. The acid test of a dry fried beef rice noodle was pretty good while the other prep made Hainan chicken was not so much. It was late so I didn't get any drinks and that was a good decision since soon I was swimming in smoke from the outside. If you could do order tea or something because the tap water should have its brand named because there was a distinct taste to it and it wasn't something I would purposely order. Parking lot is big and shared what appeared to be a member only pool hall. In the worst case park on San Gabriel. All the waiters are bilingual speak Chinese. This shop has steaks, fried rice, noodle soup, all the usual hallmarks of a Chinese cafe from the golden cafe era. The posters, signs, some areas could use a refresher. Prices $15 and up. Didn't see any lunch specials but I visited when most other shops were about to close. If you don't like smoke, pick a seat away from the front.

Average prices for the area. Good food. Good seating quantity. Good seating quality. Lots of tables available, inside can be packed. Covered outdoor seating available. Decent service; it felt like wait staff in the old days where waiters actually waited around to service you, or like how some restaurants in China have people wait around to service you. Outside can experience less service than inside but not bad at all. Overall: Okay place to get food. I would recommend trying them after my 1st visit.
