Terrible food, oily mess and terrible quality with horrible taste! I regret ordering from here! Worst chinese place I have ever tried. Fried rice so freaking oily that oil was dripping while I had my first bite. The salt and pepper fish was a joke it was just deep fried oily messy dough with no fish inside. So oily I had to trow out the whole thing. I saw bad reviews and I was like how bad it could be. Trust me it's so bad! Chow mein had weird smell and meat smelled bad as well def not fresh. Terrible food I will never ever order from this place. They made me hate chinese food! Don't be fooled by get one free scam. You are paying for junk not food.

First time eating here and the food was good and deliciousđŸ€€

Henry’s Hunan is a SF institution that used to have locations across the city. COME GET DIANA’s SPECIAL!!! An invention of the founder and named after his wife. It is my favorite dish in the world and Henry’s is the only place you can get it. Everything is fabulous, from their homemade dumplings, to string beans w meat sauce, to chicken salad, to other entrees like Henry’s shredded pork. You can choose your spice levels, from mild to kick your butt spicy. I cannot recommend this piece of SF history enough.

So delicious! We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the Mongolian beef and it was amazing. The food is high quality and the menu is extensive with many appealing options. Already can’t wait to come back!

I love the food and the prices here. I always get the combination which comes with an entree, steamed rice, hot n sour soup, and two huge egg rolls for about $20. The service is great and the food here is always consistent.

1st time was last year. We ate in their restaurant. The lady who served us helped us to decide. Very pleasant 2nd time, I was craving their food because I remember their food so clean & made not so oily. Made a call to Door Dash instead. Received it fast, hot & on time. Thank you, staff at Tea House

Was happy to find both Hong Kong and Shanghai style dumplings in one restaurant. The Xiao long bao and the Siu Mai were wonderful and reminded me why I like Asian flavours. The Xiao long bao came with its own cookie container making it easy to enjoy. The Siu Yak (pork Belly) was wonderful. The skin was ultra crispy. The mustard with it was sharp and added to the wholeness of the dish. The beans with the pork mince were absolutely delightful. The beans were crisp, salty and yum. Could survive on them. The signature beef was tender but too sweet for my liking. The seafood fried rice could be a whole meal and didn’t need anything else with it. The restaurant is large and can be a bit noisy, but that added to the atmosphere. Should have gone with a larger group so that could have sampled more of the menu. Will be back.

In one word, Awesome. superb restaurant, great and authentic service, extremely tasty food, resemble to the food I ate in China. will clearly come back. We were party of four and tasted from large variety. ended up with $110 per couple including tax and tip. Be aware that the restau is crowded in the evenings

This restaurant is the classic SF greed, food is slightly better than average, not remotely in the class of Canada or Hong Kong. Portions are small and the prices are high. Service was acceptable. But for how much they charge they still added a “Employee health plan surcharge (5%) to our bill, their greed for profit seems endless. Am so tired of California overpaying.

Dim sum? Yes please! The dim sum is fresh and delicious. My favorite was the soup dumplings. You can also order from their menu if you don’t find anything from one of the carts. Service is very quick and attentive. Friendly and welcoming as well. It is one of the few dims sum places you can make a reservation. Yank Sing is located in the Rincon center. After your belly is full you can easily walk around the promenade!

We came here on a weekend afternoon. The line was super long and we waited about an hour before getting in. The servers were very nice and fast. We had to sit on a big table with someone else, but that wasn’t an issue. They were able to recognize the dishes even though we sat together. The interior looks like a typical old Chinese restaurant, but you can tell that it was cleaned and taken care of. The food was served very fast and fresh. It’s crispy and just seasoned correctly and authentic. The price is so cheap considering the inflation. It’s popular for a reason. We ended up taking out a lot because we ordered too much. The portion was so big.

I've been here a few times, but the last time was before the pandemic. The food is as I remembered. The dishes are good. Everything came out hot and fast. I would say the longest wait time for one of our dishes was 10 mins. The parking situation is just like how I remembered it. Very limited. We circled a few times but eventually found parking a couple of blocks away. We ordered the popular dishes which includes the dry chicken wings, dumplings, garlic green beans, and the black bean noodles. We also ordered the fried fish. We thought the black bean noodles were on the salty side. Overall a solid 4 stars.

Chang’s Kitchen is delicious, cheaper, and FASTER than Sam Tung. As a Chinese person, I thought that their food was super authentic and reminds me of home and comfort— especially my top favorite Cantonese dishes. They nailed my favorite dish of the tomato beef pan-fried noodles. Portions are huge, prices are super comparable (almost all under $15 which you can’t find these days for a huge dish). Dishes come out hot, fresh, and FAST.

I am ecstatic that they finally reopened after a neighbors fire. This is my go to place for a quick Chinese food fix or causal dinner. Don't miss out on the salt & pepper fish, fried chicken and mushu wraps. Lisa always takes care of us. It's the most bang for your buck for sure😉 KennyG

I’ve dined in a couple of time and recently did take-out a lot. My friends and I are big fans of this place! We’ve tried their sweet and sour chicken, the black bean chicken, sesame chicken, shanghai style pork strips rice cake, honey walnut shrimp, string beans, Beijing style pork strips, pan-fried chive and pork dumplings and more. I love their sesame chicken - crispy, savory and sweet umami goodness! Never had a problem with getting seats or parking. They have a take-out special of 3 items for about $50, soup and white rice included! Super worth it. Check it out!!

Tasty food. Large portions for reasonable prices. Easier street parking (parking meters before 6pm) than most restaurant districts in the city.

HD Chinese Yunnan Rice Noodle 0

HD Chinese Yunnan Rice Noodles is a go-to spot for comforting bowls of noodles! 🍜 Their tomato beef noodle soup is a standout—rich, flavorful broth, fresh veggies đŸ„ŹđŸ…, and tender, high-quality beef đŸ„© make every bite satisfying. If you're craving authentic Yunnan flavors, this is the place to be! 🌟

We went there for a late lunch and there were a lot of empty tables. We both ordered the Original Beef Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles, Garlic Cucumber, Iced Ribena and Thai Milk Tea. The rice noodles were pretty good, but the broth was okay. These rice noodles offered a lot of small dishes that you could add to yourself. I just put all the small dishes into the rice noodles. The garlic cucumber didn’t taste good. Overall, I would say the rice noodles were good, but the broth and other ingredients were just fine.

Mom and pop place with some good comfort foods Hot N sour soup - Very good flavor. Dumplings - good Wasabi cold noodles- great flavor Eggplants- yummy but greasy Tan tan noodles - very good Service is slow. Maybe because of CNY eve. Our food took awhile to come out. The lady at the counter did apologize and said they are busy with too many to go orders. We also ordered beers but it never came. We asked the waiter and the lady at the counter multiple times. They acknowledged but forgot as soon as they walked away from our table. It took about 5 friendly reminders before we got to enjoy our beers. The complimentary sesame dumplings desserts were surprisingly good.

TLDR: solid food at slightly higher prices, decor needs a bit fixing up We got our sweet and sour pork rice plate to go and the total came out to $15.40 which is a bit expensive. They included a sweet and sour soup which was nice. The pork was crispy and the sauce a bit sweet but good. Weirdly I wanted more rice as there was sufficient meat and veg. The interior needs some work with very dirty carpets but there were a bunch of flowers around which brightened it up a bit

Food is decent for a hefty price. Service is bland. One of the Asian women saw me and ignored me when I needed a tea refill. Luckily for me, another lady assisted me with the tea. UPDATE: 2-20-2025 Service is better and food is still decent. Beware of silly 25 cents surcharge for take out container if you don't finish your food. What a scam?

My go to restaurant when I feel like eating Hong Kong style food. I should be more adventurous but I always stick to my usual. My husband always order his oxtail over rice and me my chicken a la king over rice or baked pork chip with tomato sauce. Their portions are huge even when you order Togo’s. The food is good although sometimes depending on the cook, it’s a bit salty for me. The chicken a la king. Make sure you bring cash. It’s a cash only establishment. But would I go back? Yes. Definitely. Being go there when they had a bakery next door and they would give us 2 or 4 little sweet buns before our food came. They don’t serve that anymore. That’s how long ago I have been coming to this cafe.

Absolutely delicious vegan Chinese food. High quality ingredients and really flavorful. I also love the old vibe of the place, a nostalgia for what San Francisco used to be. The couple working here is very humble, generous and kind. It’s truly a neighborhood gem.

No thrills local spot we always come to for our family dinners. Solid food, decently cheap prices and almost always has seats available! Only negative is they charge you more for paying with credit card!
