Ganh Pho Kitchen
I've been here twice, and the food each time is delicious, hearty, and filling. They're very generous with the portions. The owner is very friendly and kind. I can tell he knows his customers very well. My mom loves this place and appreciates the wonderful customer service, which is rare because she's normally picky about Vietnamese restaurants. I recommend the pho and the com tam.
This place is FABULOUS! Great vibe, very friendly and welcoming staff and the food was Delicious! I had the meatball pho with a side of tendon. The server, Sung, was amazing! Definitely will be back!
Yummy House
Starving and sad…Only thing edible was pork fried rice…barely, but it was at least hot. Crab Rangoon filling nice but cold and hard. Chicken fingers barely filled; cold and hard. Boneless pork warm but flavorless and leathery. Great portions if it was edible. I’m left wondering if these were leftovers from lunch. Won’t be back. Door dash delivery person was great - thanks Vanessa👍
This is not a dine in location, and I have only ever ordered for pick-up orders. With that said, this is the best Chinese food in the area and priced fairly. My family and I have been going here for years, as other local Chinese restaurants have fluctuated in their quality and pricing. I rarely have ever waited more than 10-15 minutes for my food to be ready, and I normally order at least a couple dinner combination plates. My go to is a Pupu platter for 4 and it’s always a crowd pleaser. The wife and husband who own the establishment are great, and they’re open later than any other restaurants in the area. Don’t change!
Aki Asian House
Amazing sushi. Unique rolls that have variety in flavors. Each roll has so much flavor and is done very well. Service is great not much to complain about! Great sushi in downtown bloomfield, you need to check it out!
Cute little place that is very welcoming. They have nice and friendly staff, the atmosphere is pleasant and the food is fresh. I had won ton soup, my friend had disorders soup and we shared a boat for 2. The price was definitely worth it, the fish was very fresh and just delightful. Can't wait to go back honestly.
Cubist Circle
This is a hidden gem. They have authentic Szechuan dishes. The dumplings are homemade. You can taste the Quality in it. The fish in Mandarin sauce was amazing. The tuna taco was fresh and crispy. The gray short rib was so tender and favorful. The winter rose was scrumptious. The Dan Dan noodles was so soft and spicy. The fried rice was good. The rice roll in brown sugar was sweet and soft. It's pricey, but worth every penny. Staff was so helpful and nice. Definitely will be back
Food is alright, portion is kind of small considering the price. The worst is the service. Served by a tall lady wearing leggings with inpatient and contemptuous face all the time. There was zero service throughout the dining, all waiters seemed disappeared - Oh I see they were busy serving the Non Chinese guests with full face of sunny smiles we never expected 1/10 of, great! What’s more ridiculous, when they hand us the bill, we realized one dish’s price is higher than what’s on the menu, the leggings lady arrogantly said “we have the right to modify the price” (“我们有权修改价格”). Everything was just so great, worth the 1 star rating. Would give ZERO if I could. …………………………………………………………… Hi, the clownish owner: Thanks for your loooong and entertaining response, I really appreciate your dedication trying to fight back every bad review instead of sparing some to serve the guests well. First, thanks for the hearty hot water and “allowing” us extra time looking at menu. Do you know why we need extra time? It’s because what we wanted to order was not available. It’s not until we ask to know there were more items unavailable. And, I do feel sorry for your struggle trying to find what few services you actually provided and realized you have to claim this “allowing extra time” as the credit. Second, about Chinese guests bias. There was an American couple sitting in front of us, I bet you would feel much less struggle when naming the services you provided to them: sunny smile, chatty tongues, attentive service throughout their dinning and warm “thank you” closing their bill. Meanwhile we were out of water and napkins, who ever came to help? All waiters disappeared since serving the first dish until we asked for the bill. We understand the biased services because many Chinese restaurants do so, but they at least hold the bottom line of service. Third, what is the bottom line? That comes the price discrepancy dispute. We understand the price on the menu could be outdated, we also paid the higher actual price, but what is “we have the right to amend the price” with contemptuous attitude? Maybe we should feel sorry for not being aware of the outdated menu even though you handed to us and for not knowing your SUPREME right to alter the price without any notice. We are sorry for wasting your time explaining to us. Then with mutual respect that you had frequently mentioned in your response, you should feel delighted with the 1 star review because it’s actually a 5 star review in the inverse world :) Finally, again we appreciate your long excuses, that would definitely help more guests realize how arrogant and deceptive your restaurant is. Cheers!
Golden House Chinese Restaurant in Roslindale
Stopped by this place while traveling through Boston. The wings were absolutely delicious, and the General Tso’s chicken was spot on crispy, flavorful. The staff was super friendly, and the place was clean and well kept.
General Tso's Chicken , It's so delicious, I like it very much, my mouth is watering, it's hot, and the aroma is fragrant. I want this every time. Thank you for your warm service and your happy smiles.
Mon Kou Restaurant
The atmosphere is what really makes it worth visiting. The service was also excellent! I found some of the food was really done well. The Baby Back Ribs were cooked perfectly. They had a great char and were very tender. They make solid finger food appetizers. Not bursting with flavor, but they weren't bad. The Lobster Sauce had the old school texture and plenty of pork. It was good, but lacking flavor. The Hot and Sour Soup was much different than the traditional Hot and Sour Soup. It was sweet and tangy. Overall the experience was good. I think it's the atmosphere that keeps people coming back.
Quaint Chinese restaurant with a nice dark, cool atmosphere. Friendly staff, good food and a selection of awesome cocktails to choose from. The menu is pretty big, a lot to look at. They have a good size fully stocked bar. Prices aren’t bad. Their duck sauce is to die for!!
Chinese Kitchen
This is the second time I ordered from here only because I believe in second chances. When I ordered, I specified NO VEGETABLES in my rice and NO VEGETABLES in my chicken….clearly somewhere along the line someone thought I needed these veggies which btw I’m allergic to Mushrooms. So someone’s mistake (or if they did it on purpose) just ruined my dinner. Then I called at 10:20 and no one answers smh.
This place is a waist of time don’t come here!! Place is not clean.i just seen a lady take my money for my order went to the freezer and grab a fish and handed off to the employee. To top it off I got the boneless spare ribs worst ever burnt taste also the pot stickers the pork was raw!! shrimp fried rice extra shrimp and there shrimp is not cleaned at all !! Never again worst 20 dollars I spent so far
China Rama
The order i received today 12/ 25/ was not what I expected. As a long time customer I always bragged about your food. NO MORE. Everything in my order had little or no taste. Food quality was poor, tasted cheep. Thanks for the memories, NO MORE
I used to order from these guys all the time, but then they hired a phone service. I called in today and they told me I couldn’t order an extra spring roll to satisfy the delivery fee with my combo. I’ll be ordering from Shabu Lee going forward.
Chinatown Restaurant
We ordered a variety of items of the menu they were all really good but the best part is how it’s a gem of a place hidden in plain sight. We sat on the balcony and the atmosphere was just a dream. You can see a lil bit of history on the walls with all the black and white historical time captured moments as you walk up to be seated. Let them find you on the street as you walk on by and be v led to a lovely experience.
Welcome to the birth place of Chinese food as we know it in the United States! This is an authentic experience, with quality ingredients, generous portions, and friendly service. Our Dim Sum for 2 was under $100 (with automatic tip + rice wine + complimentary green tea ice cream). This is a local favorite for a reason 🥰 Tourists - if this seems steep, welcome to California. We care about our amazing service workers and we want them properly compensated for the love they put into the fresh cuisine they share with us 💗 the price reflects. Happy Lunar New Year to all who celebrate 🐍
Fortune Wok
I just ordered chicken chow mein and literally threw the whole meal away. This was the worst Chinese food I ever ordered. The chicken was slimy and white and chow mein was literally a bunch of cabbage and carrots in a clear flavorless sauce. The egg roll wasn’t even good I’m so disappointed. Will not order here again
Never had issues with this restaurant until the last month. Their pork fried rice isn't the real thing like how it used to be & food quality has gone down hill. My last order was delivery, took over an hour to come and I had to call twice. Will never eat here again.
Jing's Garden
The food quality is poor and inconsistent. I ordered beef and broccoli and I got broccoli with very little beef. I was given scraps of beef in a lot of sauce. It was clear this dish was not fresh and had been sitting out for a long time. I ordered egg rolls that were barely filled. This is not the first time that I received fools that was not fresh and over cooked. The food is no longer fresh and the containers are smaller and not filled. I need to find a new Chinese restaurant!!!!
I have given this place a handful of opportunities to see if their food would improve. Last time I order their version of Chicken Pad Thai. Overcooked and very little chicken and some onion. They seem to skimp on any meat, chicken or seafood. Probably my last time to order there. Bland and not worth spending money on in my opinion.
Golden Dragon Restaurant
It’s a typical Chinese restaurant. Food was good. The Peking duck was excellent. The sweet and sour pork was just okay. The yang chow fried rice was good. The egg drop soup lacks spices. We were seated immediately and the food was brought out without much waiting.
It appears to be a local favorite. When you walk in, it takes you a world away to somewhere in Asia. Decent food, good service, and very golden decor. A little disappointing that they charge tea per person when most places offer it while you look through menu. Give this place a try if you're in China town🥳. (Hope they will stop charging tea for its patrons soon🤞🏼)
