Arizona Chinese Restaurant
I have developed a horrible habit of speaking en español when I am at Asian restaurants. Luckily this is not an issue here. I was able to practice my No Mames and No Manches. Food comes out fast. Wings were tasty and crispy, fried rice had good flavor too.
A friend of mine told me that this restaurant served churritos (instead of the wonton fried strips with the tangy and sweet dipping sauce) and I was sold on coming here. I grew up going to Chinese restaurants that served churritos as the appraiser so I was especially excited to visit this place because of it. The food, DELICIOUS. It's not very greasy and the portions are great. The rice is fluffy and perfectly made. The people are super nice and attentive and the overall place seemed really clean. Our server came in to check on us several time, I wish I would have asked her for her name because she was great. I highly recommend this place!
Great Happiness
Good "Chinese" food here. I had the BBQ pork but I think I was expecting a different type of bbq flavor. The rice was good but somehow reminded me of stove-top- stuffing. The service was very friendly. If you're nearby, Great Happiness, is definitely worth the stop. P.S. Great Happiness only accepts cash.
The food is pretty good I had orange chicken and this other chicken with the bone it was really good. They also had this rib but that’s a Dollar extra. I did not like that they do not accept credit card or Apple Pay however it is a small family owned business and it is understandable. I didn’t have cash so came up with $10 in change LOL. Food is pretty good. Price is fair.
Yingli Restaurant Chula Vista
In town for a job and needed something good to eat. Gave this place a chance and boy am I glad we did! Food was great. But oh my the portions were HUGE! My leftovers that I ended up with were as much as I get as a regular portion from other Chinese restaurants. Staff is also very friendly and attentive.
I got the fried dumplings, it was more like steamed but it was still good, the sauce that came with it though I wasn’t such a big fan of it. My favorite was the chicken fried rice, definitely will order the rice again. Also got the orange chicken, wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would but it wasn’t sweet either, and veggie chow main which was also good. I would order from here again when in the mood for fried rice.
JL China House
Expensive for what it is (no dine in, only get to dine outside on tables that aren't cleaned after guests eat there). The make a plate deal ended up being 17$ (chow mein $6.99, sides 5.50 to 6.99). On the side of the building it says free soda with dine in, but like I said, they are only outdoor. I only ate here because I didn't want Jack in the Box but maybe I would have been better off there . I will admit the portions are huge but the orange chicken is so so, beef with broccoli is better, and the chow mein is alright.
Went today and the lady at the counter was nice. I didn’t get any bad attitude like the reviewers mentioned. Got my food within 10min to go. I love going to this place and when I looked at the reviews, I was like, what happened? Food is still packed and good!!! Maybe the customers had bad attitude. Will come back here!
Tasty Mandarin
The best fried green beans in southern San Diego, at Tasty Mandarin. Perfectly seasoned and simply delicious. You can’t eat just one. Im not a fan of green beans, but I am now. My co worker introduced me to the fried green beans. Boy, was she right - the best in town. I’m obsessed My daughter and I had other dishes. Everything was perfect. The soup could use a lil kick, other than this, we were happy and stuffed. Service always good. Always recommend👍🏼
Casual Chinese restaurant. Overall pretty good. I ordered BBQ pork fried rice, half portion of duck, salted pepper chicken wings and Mango boba. The portions where pretty big. Enough to feed 3 people. The chicken wings where absolutely fabulous. Friendly staff.
Panda Imperial Restaurant
Wow, what a culinary delight! Panda Imperial truly exceeded my expectations. The food was exceptional - fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Every dish was a masterpiece, and the portions were generous. But what really impressed me was the spotless cleanliness of the restrooms! It's clear that this restaurant prioritizes quality and hygiene. The combination of delicious food and a clean environment makes Panda Imperial a must-visit destination. Kudos to the chef, staff, and management for setting a high standard. I can't wait to come back and indulge in more of their culinary delights
I couldn't be more pleased with the take out system. I had scheduled an order a couple days in advanced and I was assured it would be ready by a certain time and lo and behold an order that was place two days prior was fresh and ready on time. The food it's self was very delicious and the tray sizes are definitely packed to fit as much food as possible. If you're hosting a larger gathering, I'd 100% recommend ordering from here.
Buffet House
This is a pretty typical Chinese buffet. They do have a vast selection but I actually came for the sushi and was expectedly disappointed. I would say it's grocery store-style sushi but all you can eat for 23 bucks.. The unagi is super thin sliced and almost flavorless. The shrimp tempura roll is mostly breading inside that is very rubbery. The other rolls are very average. The highlight of the sushi was the salmon sashimi. There is a spicy tuna sashimi that is really bad. I had some of the roast beef and the pork chop. No real complaints there. If you want a lot of cheap sushi and other cheap food, this is a choice. PS. There is a bottle of sriracha on the table which is not real sriracha. Close but some kind of knockoff.
The food here is outstanding, good quality, they also restock the sashimi set really fast too, the ice cream is delicious and the meat is juicy, 5 star quality will definitely make my Asian friend going back here again The toilet is clean too, full equipment but doesn't have a bidet Have a 2 hours limit and have to pay more if you want to eat more than 2 hours, but to be honest I already full the first 30 minutes A bonus thing is they have Arabica coffee, have to make it on your own but its full of sugar, Coffee mate and milk to make the coffee amazing, have green tea too
Panda Express
Fantastic service at this Panda Express. One of the best stores we have experienced. Staff who run everything so efficiently with a smile. Edgar and his team are great. Lines are long but you'll get your order within a few minutes!
**Review Title: Frustrating Experience Every Time!** I’m really disappointed with my experiences at Panda Express. Every single time I’ve ordered, they mess up my order. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay for food and not get what you asked for! On top of that, the attitude of some employees is just unacceptable. When I politely ask for my food, I’m met with eye rolls and disdain. As a paying customer, I deserve respect, not judgment. If they don’t like their jobs, maybe they should consider finishing school or finding work that suits them better. I really hope they can improve their service, but for now, I can’t recommend this location.
Fresh & Tasty
Placed order on doordash app. To have my meal delivered. 1. I have added photos of my order and what I received. Only issue is that I did not receive exactly what I ordered. 2. Food was delicious so no problem with that besides shrimp being a bit overcooked but delicious nonetheless. 3. I ordered 2 egg rolls. Beef Chow Mein Shrimp Fried Rice I received: 2 egg rolls Chicken Chow Mein Shrimp Fried Rice As you can see in the pictures I did not get beef, but instead I got chicken. Like I had stared before it wasn't bad but it's not what I wanted. The app did provide the option to cancel the dish if the restaurant did not have the meal requested or let the house pick an alternative. I did pick to cancel the meal and as you can tell in the pictures, directions were not followed. I would have been more satisfied if I would have gotten a call or something so I could have made that decision. Again, this is mainly my only complaint. I will be giving this place another chance in the future, but I hope next time is not the last.
Best food ever period. The place inside is so nice and clean the owners are so sweet. The food was a amazing price and so much for ur buck. Best food ever.
New Mandarin Canton Chinese Restaurant
The rice looks like it's been there for days and they keep it hot and hot because my rice was dry and tasteless. I asked before to change it for chowmen and they told me that it wasn't possible. When I got home and tried the rice I realized that it wasn't new from today. I was disappointed.
Food does in a pinch, our family's go to was the salt n pepper chicken wings, and we've been going to this particular restaurant for a few years. Ladies who are customer facing have always been a little rude, but I've just looked the other way. Felt like the last encounter was especially rude, and decided it would be our last time coming here. Service and friendliness mean more than most think. On the plus side, we found a MUCH BETTER place over on Birch Road (near In n Out/Mandarin Beijing) that had WAY better food (especially wings) and the family who owns it is incredibly welcoming and greeted us with smiles and friendly faces (zero attitude).
Panda Express
Food was great, service was fast and employees are very friendly.
This place hits home whenever in the need of a varied food selection that can be combined into a singular plate at a fair price. Might I say not even serving bad food at all. Pretty decent plus the Atmosphere feels alive and isn’t dirty. Service usually fast but can be slow at times with neutral workers
P.F. Chang's
Came here for my birthday Bree was super sweet!! Would definitely come back here again next time I'm in San Diego! Food was excellent only reason I wouldn't rate the food a 5 is becuase I wasn't a fan of the red velvet cake personally but that's just my personal taste and the manager came to check in when I sent it back all super nice and pleasant employees and delicious affordable bites here :)
Great customer service and food is delicious. This kind of chain restaurants I would love to try in most locations. Their portions are big enough to make you full and ask for the to-go-box. The Trio Mongolian is a good choice of variety meat. The food is oily though , so if you’re on diet, that would be your cheating day
