Cindy's Kitchen
Amazing beef noodle soups. I got the tendon beef (medium spice) this time. Everything was so tender and delicious. Amazing portions, delicious chewy noodles. And you can't forget the house made pickled greens. I always add two spoonfuls. They're always super sweet and kind. If you're here, be kind to the staff. It's a mom and pop shop.
Wednesday 4/23/25 Dinner at Cindy’s Kitchen trying out their combination beef noodle. On my, it was so delicious and savory. The beef and tendon were so tender and tasty, the noodles was the right texture and firmness, and the soup base has lots of herbs and spices and perfectly balanced. This is my new go to beef noodle restaurant. There was only one female service staff working so it did took longer to order, wait for foods, then pay. It turned out true to reflecting the Heinz’s slogan, “Good things come to those who wait.” I recommend trying out this restaurant. David Young Restaurant Enthusiast
Ly Family Kitchen
I don’t like frozen dumplings so I come here to buy freshly made ones. I call ahead and ask what fillings are being made. They charge $1 for a tray and made the dumplings in front of you.
Frozen dumplings are not fresh, my whole family threw up after eating them, one young kid had to go UC for some medicine, buy at your own risk.
Hong Kong Fishball House
It seems the noodles getting more expensive. I don't mind paying $9.31 for a beef combination rice noodle (in soup) in a resteraunt. However, for sitting outside, the $9.31 is definely over-priced.
Always come here to get the fried intestines when I'm in the area. Love it! I would go next door for stinky tofu too.
Hong Kong Kitchen
Came to try this new restaurant after seeing it posted on Instagram. It's located in Hong Kong Plaza with plenty of parking. We ordered the preserved meats hot pot rice, chicken wings, and Wonton Noodle soup to try things out. The rice was cooked in a metal pot and had some crispy rice at the end. The preserved meat portion was on the smaller side but the rice was tasty with the soy sauce. Chicken wings was delicious and would recommend. The worst dish we had was the wonton Noodle soup. The noodles were soft, broth was very light in flavor, and wontons lacked flavor. Avoid the wonton Noodle soup. The menu is small and not too much variety. Small dining room so not good for large groups.
Order a chicken hot pot but the chicken I get was mostly bones no good peices I will not come back

The soup of the sesame oil kidney dish was excellent—probably one of the best I’ve had in Southern California. However, the kidneys themselves had a strong gamey taste, much more so than at other places. As for the shredded beef with pickled cabbage, the pickled cabbage was delicious, but the amount of shredded pork was disappointingly small.
Solid 4. If you’re craving home style Taiwanese food this is a good spot to come try. I usually get: 五根暢旺 which is basically a tofu, pork blood, fatty intestine spicy pot and goes well with rice or whatever carb you prefer. 炒四包 which is sautéed chopped string beans and pork and shrimp also goes well with rice. 酒釀湯圓 fave dessert, gluttonous riceballs Anyway I also like their silk melon 絲瓜 and their sesame oil pork kidney… It’s been here for a while and is on my rotation at least twice a month
The Noodle麵麵店
Best value for Chinese breakfast and afternoon tea in the Rowland Heights area. They make the best Yutiao, and it is ALWAYS crispy and fresh. Their congee is also super delicious.
We had the beef and wonton noodles. Noodles were great and crunchy. Wontons were a great size. Beef broth was flavoful, a tad on the saltier side. Prices were fair. Will definitely return to try other dishes. Overall we enjoyed the noodles here. We usually come here for the chicken for take out.
La Hot Duck
鸭腿里吃出了苍蝇,卫生太差了。 I've bought from here a few times before, and the taste was good. But today, I found a fly inside the duck leg… And it was discovered inside the meat, which is extremely disgusting. The hygiene situation is concerning.
I didn't go in the store physically. I went online shopping at its website. I'm very impressed. It's well packed with insulation bag and special ice packs in a cartoon box. I'm sure they'll cost something for the business owner. I appreciate the effort they made to ensure my food's freshness. It's also extremely fast. I'm almost next to Canada. And it took only 2 days to deliver. The food tastes amazing! Love the vacuum packaging. So much different options of food. Lifted my spirits in this covid year. I'll definitely be a regular customer.
Garage Kitchen
This place is such a hidden gem. Let me tell you cousin was getting down making the meat pies. Fresh to order. I was astonished by the service and the passion she had to cook. I couldn't wait to get home to eat my goodies. I was so overwhelmed from the menu cause I wanted to eat everything. I ordered the purple rice congee. The meat pie absolutely highly recommend it so warm and amazing. It melts in your pallette, the goodness just envelops you just like home. And the sweet rice ugh.the peanuts and the sugar just hmm chefs kiss. I highly recommend this spot..so yummy and good go show your local buisness some support. You won't be dissapointed. Their cooking reminds me of my cousins family. Close to comfort
This is a solid 4* eatery of Tianjin street food. The pork buns were pretty good and the bean paste noodles were decent as well. The porridge was really good. We ordered buns with pork and chives, it came with the porridge and a side dish of your choice. Since it’s not the regular pork buns, the kitchen has to make them after ordering. So, they were very fresh. There were a lot of items I would like to try when I’m in the area again. The pictures of Tianjin on the walls were a nice touch. They reminded me of those places that I have visited when I spent time there. All in all, I recommend this place for some old time memories.
Mr Frog
Right taste for the bullfrog hotpot. Do remember not add too much adds-on inside the hotpot or the bullfrog would be less. Spicier 🔥 than I expected. Take care if can not consume too much spicy food. May consider much more sauce.
I strongly recommend give it a try as a Chinese frog pot. Talked with store owner, they just got the shop few month ago and are doing their best to deliver succulent frogs. Deliver is not sure but dine-in is my experience and empty pot is the best expression to good food. (Sorry for bad image but it's really good)
Taste of China
The food is super delicious and the customer services are very helpful. The food quality was amazing.
worst restaurant they have bugs crawing on the ground
Tasty BBQ 好味道
Beef chow fun so good…. Also hard to get buy 4 get 1 free good meals nowadays.
So this place replaced the location for breadfish, and I heard of the name before. They have very similar menu items but a lot more variety. I got a chance to try their crispy chicken over rice. The chicken was really good wish it was just a little bit more crispy but since I had it ToGo it might be a factor of moisture. The tofu and the egg is really good here with marinated in Taiwanese spices. Overall the food is exactly what I expected and it more than enough for one person. Would definitely recommend trying!
Yummy BBQ
I’ve bought takeout from this restaurant twice, and both times, the half roast duck they provided was about 70% duck neck and bones with hardly any meat. Yet, they still charge around $18 for half a duck. This way of doing business is outright deceiving customers. On top of that, the staff’s attitude is impatient and unfriendly. I won’t be coming back!
Came for lunch today. Ordered fried green beans, crispy beef noodle, and a half roast duck. Waitress reminded us that if our order exceeds 50 bucks, we can get a free dish (for dine-in only). So we added an order of tofu, and received a free order of salt/pepper shrimp. Food tastes good, and I sure will come back again.
