The other reviews said that this Panda Express skimps on the food and is overpriced, but that was not my experience at all. First, the employees were all friendly and helpful. Even though it was a busy Saturday night, they got the order right and served us with smiles. I got a plate (two entrees/one side), and the server piled on the mushroom chicken and gave me two full teriyaki chicken filets. My other guest ordered the Cub Meal, and they filled up the box all the way. Everything was steaming hot and fresh. The orange chicken was especially tender with a nice crispy exterior. They also had a new dessert, an apple pie roll, that was like an egg roll but had pie filling instead of veggies or meat. Everything was better than expected. Also, dinner for two only cost $22, which is comparable or cheaper than burgers. This mall does not have a large selection of restaurants, and we have had bad experiences at some of the other restaurants, so I enthusiastically recommend this Panda Express.

I am so dissatisfied with this location. To start, the lady making my food didn't even give me a full entree meal. So I paid full price and didn't even get all of what I was supposed to get. She hardly put any food in my box. Not only that, the cashier let a lady cut in front of me to buy a drink. The line was long and disgustingly difficult to get through in the crowded ass mall.

I spent$ 55.00 for days old food not cool. Even the place is not clean it was questionable but I wanted to give it a try. So disappointed I won't be coming back anytime soon.

I love coming here because I’m never greeted with attitude, the lady always has a smiling face & happy to help me! 🫶🏼 today I was lucky to get fresh broccoli & try a new dish they made which was good btw , gladly coming back 🫶🏼

Google map should update this joint as it’s shown as vacant piece of dirt, granted it’s new. It’s the typical Panda Express the usual dishes and prices. But to be honest the portion is lacking for the price you pay. The dining area is decent and clean and courteous staffs. Plenty of parking space adjacent to Jack ‘n the Box.

I just went through the Drive-through and had to write this review! I wish I would’ve looked at the guy who helped us at the windows name that he was phenomenal. You don’t get a lot of good customer service these days and I was extremely impressed. He offered us plates and extra utensils for the kids and was Extremely polite. Customer service goes a long way for me.

From all the Panda restaurants near this one in particular is our favorite. Quick lunch stop and satisfaction guaranteed. The entire staff are friendly and efficient. My kiddos enjoy their meal and the atmosphere is so calm. Definitely stop by! Thank you Panda !

They skimp on their portions. I ordered the two entree meal and the manager only gave me one spoonful each of rice, noodles, beef/broccoli and teriyaki chicken. I finished my meal in ten minutes. Definitely not worth the $11 they charge for it. Luckily I had an online coupon offer for $5. I’m definitely not going to come back to this particular location.

The workers are PHENOMENAL and they all had such good vibes. The food however has definitely lost its taste quality I can tell. Only because I haven’t been here in years

This team works endlessly hard every time I come here. They're always kind and the food is always fresh. Jasmine is always so cheerful and kind no matter how busy it is!!! Keep up the great work!!!

China King is the best "chinese" you'll find in Palm Springs. Now don't get excited, that's not really saying a lot when you're only other choice is Panda Express. If you're wanting good Asian in Palm Springs, you'll find it in many Thai places and some Vietnamese too. But Chinese remains the elusive category in PS. So, I decided to give China King a try. So first the food. It's not bad really... pretty standard but not bad. I'd say it's fairly average for all the Americanized Chinese food I've had 50 plus years. The Kung Pao chicken was a little spicy but not much, and the flavor was ok. The chicken Lo Mein was on the bland side, but the noodles tasted fresh and there was lots of chicken pieces. Prices are reasonable for Palm Springs, and they have some lunch specials and some good deals if you arrive before 5:00pm. The portions are huge, each plate could feed two people as long as you're not very hungry. The hot and sour soup was pretty good, but when they say a cup they mean a small cup for sure. They brought me brown rice without asking if I wanted brown or white. Which they may only have the brown, you might ask if you go. A strong point here is the family that runs it are very friendly. Some younger ones of the family are helping out which is fine. They checked back on me a couple times. They do a LOT of take out business I noticed. The restaurant itself is clean, but on the small side and sparse. My biggest "odd" observation was actually the front door. Reminded me of a fire escape door at a theater. Just a solid metal double door. If they were to replace it with a nicer wood/glass window door it would go a long way of making the place a bit more inviting. Some pendant lighting above the booths instead of just can lights in the entire place would also help cozy things up a bit. But I digress. So for Chinese food in Palm Springs it's China King or fast food. I'd go back to China King to explore the menu a little, maybe pick up some quick take out some night. But I'd like to find some tastier dishes there, before I'd consider taking out of town friends. For now if they want chinese, I'd probably steer them to some Thai or just say ... "Gas up the car, were getting on the I-10 south".

Family run, traditional Chinese restaurant with delicious fresh food and huge portions. The place is clean, comfortable, and casual. I ordered chicken with mixed vegetables and unlike many Asian restaurants that focus on onions, this dish was filled with fresh broccoli, carrots, snow, peas, and huge amounts of thin-sliced white meat chicken. It was flavorful and not full of gooey cornstarch sauce, like some Chinese restaurants. I’m a big fan of Chinese food and this is one of the tastiest I’ve had in a while.

Food tastes bland here at Sunrise Way Panda! I’m a big fan of Panda Express and I’m a local who frequents both the Cathedral City & Palm Desert ones. I always enjoy the food & its affordability at Pandas. First time visiting here & the food especially rice & beef are below par! I’ll never stop by here again in the future! Gave it 2stars because the team was great! Throw out an expired food!!!

Cathedral city Panda Express is 100% BETTER ILL JUST STICK TO THAT ONE!! THAN THIS ONE IN PALM SPRINGS!! I ALSO SAID I WASNT EVER GOING TO COME BACK HERE EVER AGAIN!! Horrible how the food is never fresh !! Even when I have asked for it fresh!!! Ugh

It's bigger then it looks. I really didn't think they would have a big dining area looking from the outside but I was wrong. Good food, and I like their soda selection

The manager here, Melissa, has the best service attitude I have ever seen. She is patient, serious and full of smiles to every customer. Every time I see her smiling face, all my fatigue will be swept away. What surprised me most was that she could actually cook.。

I went 30 minutes after they open, so the place was pretty clean which I like to see if eating at a restaurant. The staff welcome every person that walk through the door. A little stingy with the portion sizes, the flavor of the food wasn’t up to par. Nothing special about this Panda Express, a typical panda experience.

In Cathedral City This Panda Express is particularly close enough to my daily commute areas. Having said so the drive thru is a once and a while venture of mine & in this occasion I do want to mention the fact that employees need to keep their cool when talking to customers & not let the stress build up, agitation nor pressure overall of working (it is food preparation not brain surgery). ⭐ Minus 1 star because of the way I was talked to + ⭐ Minus 1 star my food order which was To Go Had a smaller portion than normal (I would know I come here regularly) Key Facts - The inside of the restaurant will be at least at an 85° while enjoying your hott noodles and orange chicken 🔥 I have found however employees try the best they can to deliver the customer satisfaction needed to each individual. I say this because I was given the exact amount of sauces that was needed in order for me to enjoy my meal as well as knowing the drink order by having them labeled with the button pressed down on the soda lids.

I had a fantastic experience at this establishment! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and attentive staff. The manager was especially impressive—juggling multiple tasks with ease. Not only did they take the time to personally interact with customers, but I could also see them ensuring the cleanliness of the facility and overseeing the staff prep the food. It was clear they care about every detail, making sure everything runs smoothly and customers are well taken care of. Excellent service all around! Highly recommend! Thank you Tiffany!

I ordered chow mein and fried rice and ordered veggie egg rolls. I paid for it but it wasn’t in my bag, I shouldn’t be checking my order to see if I have what I ordered, they are suppose to have everything I ordered in the bag. The photo below shows the order of egg rolls, proof that I purchased it but never received it in the bag.

Very elegant and welcoming restaurant. Their food is so yummy. My suggestions number one would be a Crispy Duck, fried rice, dumplings, and shrimps. Their service is top-notch. I'm so happy to discover this wonderful Chinese restaurant in the desert which is located on the right side of Albertsons.

I dine her occasionally when having a taste for Chinese. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Adequately priced for the desert. As a vegetarian, I found the menu limiting my choices. The Sesame Tofu was nice and flavorful!

Saw the server today, wearing the same gloves the entire time, serving people’s food, cleaning, touching the register, the cash, then back to cleaning and serving customers without changing to another set of gloves. She is going to get someone severely sick.

Very disappointed I got here 8:553 And it took them five minutes to ask me what can I do for you? I told them what I want fried rice with orange chicken and fried rice with mandarin chicken Bana the ladies name let me know. They don’t have fried rice anymore and the day were already close. The manager of the store is Christian, but he wasn’t here , They supposed to have food into they close. I don’t know. I might be wrong, but they didn’t have a lot of of the food that they usually have they offer me white rice. That’s all they have.
