Chopstix
Just had a great experience at Chopstix in Pasadena, Maryland! The food arrived piping hot and absolutely delicious. I was also impressed by how quickly the delivery arrived — much faster than they said over the phone. Easy to order and was top-notch, and you can tell they really care about their customers. Highly recommend Chopstix for anyone! Will definitely be ordering again soon!
Hands down, some of the worst sushi I’ve ever experienced. I ordered the Chirashi and a hand roll. The Chirashi included 12 pieces of sashimi. 3 each of tuna, yellowtail, salmon and white tuna all over sushi rice. Side note, the best part of the meal was the sushi rice. The tuna had a ton of sinew, making it stringy and tough to chew. It also left an artificially red color on the rice below it. The yellow tail was as tough as a piece of steak. I literally couldn’t tear it apart with my hands and didn’t eat a single piece of that. The salmon and white tuna in the chirashi were both passable but not great. The white tuna in the hand roll also had a lot of sinew, again, making it tough to chew. I ended up discarding the fish and ate the cone of rice and seaweed. Sure, the prices here are very low, but there’s a clear reason for that. This is a classic, you get what you pay for experience. There wasn’t a single customer in the place when I went to pick up my meal. This was my first time eating here and will be my last. If you’re looking for sushi, go elsewhere.
Ahloo Chinese Cafe
Very very disgusting food has no flavor. Their packaging was messy. Never again
The dish I picked wasn’t tasty and my chicken was too chewy like it wasn’t cooked correctly, I spit it out almost choked on it. Even the kids meal wasn’t good and that is simple to make. The service was crap too like why the rudeness for nothing??? Never coming back here going somewhere else.
Number One Chinese Restaurant
Shrimp egg foo young Beef and broccoli was absolutely terrible. Pork fried rice had no flavor other than a peculiar taste. In 55 years on this Earth this was the worst Chinese Food I have ever had. They might want to rethink the name and add some zeros.
We were excited to try a new Chinese place. But we did not expect the food to be awful. The noodles were thick and gummy, soup had no flavor. Rice was not good. Very disappointed. We'll not order again
Hoya Chicken mama / Hainan Chicken Specialist - Pasadena
Came upon this place that serves one of my favorite dishes, hainan chicken. The chicken is cooked to perfection and was very juicy and the rice has good seasoning as well. 10/10 combination. Condiments were also great. This place has a great vibe to sit and hang around with friends. Will be back again!
The food is not very good. Very disappointed. Even the rice was bad. Portion was not worth how expensive this food is. Sadly, I do not recommend it and will not be ordering here again.
Wok Master
I love this restaurant. I have been going here for over 20 years. My family has grown up on Wok Master any time I give them a choice when we're in Pasadena this place is going to win hands down. The food is great, and the service is good, and yes, the picture is of sweet and sour shrimp, and it is YUMMY. The ruff part is that sometimes the parking can get limited, so be prepared . They do offer lunch specials until 4 pm, and family meals and the restaurant itself is always clean.
Little hole in the wall that’s a tofu gem in Pasadena. I always go for the orange tofu and the salt & pepper tofu (crispy and salty, love it). It comes with white rice and is enough to feed two people twice. $35 for two plates is reasonable in Pasadena. I usually take it to go but recently ate it at the location and the service needs to be turned up a notch, at least refill my water once. Great options for vegans, especially since they in the same lot as Drink Erva who serves Yerba mate drinks. Happy Munchies, @aVeganAndHer
Panda Express
Had eggplant& tofu, also green beans & chicken. Wanted more variety. It was good.
