I can count on J J Cafe being open late and having amazing authentic food. Parking is easy in their lot. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly wait service. I ordered the Won Ton Soup. I also ordered the Pork Hocks and Beef Stew Lo Mein. We got to put some of those noodles in our soup. Tender meat.

Been here a few times. The service here is slow when it gets busy. Parking is pretty easy in the underground parking garage. We ordered Beef Chow Fun, chicken fried steak and smelt roe fried rice. Our favorite dish is the smelt roe fried rice. The beef Chow Fun is just alright not much wok hei flavor. The chicken fried steak is big and juicy. We have been here many times for breakfast and lunch.

I recently visited Dim Sum World, and it's fair to say that despite facing too much carbohydrates as a runner lol, I didn't faint 🤩. The dishes, all prepared by the family, offer a comprehensive selection from both Northern and Southern China. The Vietnamese noodles, particularly noteworthy for their homemade bone broth, are a must-try ❤️. We had a chance to chat with the owners, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal 😊. Our stomachs were fully satisfied, and we're definitely planning to return.

Good food - fair price💖 Small family business so there aren't many tables available and very cozy vibes. They have the best dimsum I've ever had. Make sure to add some chili oil, vinegar & splash of soy sauce for dipping sauce (the best) I'm highly recommend Pork Xia Long Bao, Hair Gow or Siumai. Salted Egg Bun & Chili wonton are MUST!!! They have very little kitchen, also they'll cook every single dish after you ordered and gonna serve at the same time => usually 15min wait so be patient. It's worth it I promise **they accept Debit card/Cash**

My go to spot for skewers. Fresh meat every time and the best tasting skewers in the area. I notice people complain about service but I personally love the laid back scene of skewer restaurants where you scan to order. Lady is very nice & servers are solid. Their dishes are very flavorful.

One of the best BBQ restaurants in town!! I ordered 3lbs crawfish, it’s really fresh and tasty. They also have the best fried small yellow croakers. And thanks the owner so much for sending some free snacks. I would definitely come back again

Walked into this place, after attending Monterey Park's Year of the Snake event. The restaurant provides lunch specials ($11.99 or $12.99). For an additional $1.99, one gets to have an iced coffee or lemon tee. Food tastes good, and the portions are big. Will come back again, if I visit the neighborhood in the future.

Authentic Hong Kong style local lunches and dinners. Try their clay pot rice. Reasonable prices and friendly services

“I should have written this review 15 years ago! As an Irvine resident, I visit this cafe often, and it never disappoints. The food is incredibly flavorful and brings back memories of life in HK. I only wish we had a place like this in OC—it would be an instant favorite!”

Milk tea was really good. It comes free when you buy a breakfast deal for congee for a total of $11.95 plus tax. Congee was a little thin but still good, a little too much ginger for my taste. Youtiao (Chinese fried bread) was normal and a little on the lighter fried side which was better than other places. Rice roll was also standard and the sauce was good when mixed up. Cash only. They are very slow on bringing your change so better to have exact payment. Free parking.

The noodles at Noodle Art are absolutely delicious—you can really tell they’re handmade with care. The braised beef noodle stood out with its rich, savory flavor and quickly became my favorite dish. The sweet and sour pork was decent, though a bit heavy on the sauce for my taste. Overall, we really enjoyed the food here. Just a heads-up: the service is minimal. They’ll take your order at the table, but you’ll need to head up to the counter to pay and grab your own water. Still, the quality of the food makes it worth it, and we’ll definitely be back!

Noodle Art offers a wide variety of noodle dishes. The fried noodles with cumin lamb stood out as a favorite, thanks to its rich flavor. The noodle soup was also delicious, with complex layers of flavors and various toppings. The dry noodles with hot oil and spice were equally tasty, and the freshness of the noodles made a noticeable difference. The pork hamburger was superb, with both the meat and bun being flavorful. We also appreciated the fast service. Located in a plaza, parking was very convenient. Very authentic.

Wow! Meat pies from heaven in a mini- mall off N Garfield Avenue. Everything here is great. Not a sit down place as such, since it's really small and they only have a few tables, but I'm sure you could eat in if you wanted to (they have a short menu) - but it's not really a restaurant atmosphere - more of a small hole in the wall family run takeout, with Grandpa making dumplings by hand at a table when I was there. There seems to be very little English spoken here. Very delicious and authentic - I'll be back!

Tiny little hole in the wall place, but great for some dumplings of sorts. This place is meant to be more of a store than restaurant...seating is super limited! I'm talking about four tables or so and it's not well ventilated, poor AC. The owner is cool, but very loud when she's yelling around inside the general area and kitchen...how do I say this, AWKWARD?! I love their meat buns, it's small, but so good! Their breading is so fluffy and the meat is tender. Their 'Xiao Long Bao' is okay compared to the quality Ding Tai Fong...everything is good, but not outstanding. Get their takeouts and cook the dumplings at your own leisure. I would avoid dining here, unless you're solo and want a quick meal. Dean Sin World is in a plaza, so you won't be able to see it on the main street. Plenty of parking and cash only!

This place is unassuming, but then they sucker punch you with HANDS DOWN the BEST WONTON NOODLES EVER. I have yet to eat more perfect wonton noodles with dumplings. The broth is simple and clean and delicious and the dumplings are amazinngggg as well. I have gotten multiple dishes here and have had the most awesome taste bud adventures. If you're not a noodle person (le gasp), you can't go wrong with the curry and the hainan chicken. I don't know how they do it. The food is rich in flavor but I don't feel greasy or anything after eating it. I guess it's just super fresh ingredients, homemade, and skillfully cooked food. Try it to believe it!!

Hole in the wall, hidden gem, mom & pop vibes! they take card! I can't get over these egg noodles in this wonton mein! seems like most places serve it up clumped together and you need to split your chopsticks to break them apart - BUT NOT HERE. they are silky and bouncy! and the soup is nicely flavored, enhancing everything in the dish. you also get four big wontons filled with plump shrimp and pork. I also love their hainan chicken, well seasoned, and the filet mignon has a nice kick. Nice selection of traditional asian dessert options in individual serving sides (tofu pudding with ginger syrup, "che thai", ube tofu, etc.) and they also sell their wontons/dumplings frozen + noodles in packages. parking is available on the street! limited seating, but a lot of folks are doing takeaway!

The good: fast, fresh and hot dim sum to go. Reasonable prices can order individual items. Perfect when dining alone. Easy in and out, with easy parking. The not so great: just not the best dim sum flavor wise. I would go back in a pinch, but too many better options in the area.

Place is so good, if you like the taste of authentic Asian cuisine, this is a place to go to when visiting or passing through Monterey Park it’s a hidden gem and has been here for a long time. Stop by and have the Steamed Beef Balls (Ngao Yuk) those are the best!! That and have some of the shrimp.

This is the most authentic Hong Kong causal dining (Cha Chang Teng) restaurant in the area. (I grew up in HK). Food is delicious and generous with portion size. Service is simple and quick. This is my third visit in the last two trips since I don’t live in the area. The rice congee with pork and century egg is proper, as well as the rice rolls with crunchy dough stick inside! Soft outside and crunchy inside. The pineapple bun with butter (I had it to go) is so good! They also will refill your milk tea or lemon tea which makes it such a good deal. Highly recommended.

We went for the lunch on Sat. We only waited for 15 min. We ordered chicken hot soup, extra vegetable, and cold combinations. The food is fresh and not salty. Will go back again 👍

This place has the most delicious meat pies. We get the lamb & green onions every time and they are so juicy and delicious. Highly recommend!

This is a must go to place. The meat pies are like giant pan fried xiao long bao: juicy and soupy and savory on the inside, crispy on the outside. Don't try to eat these while driving! You'll make a mess. I had (and recommend) the lamb and cilantro, and the beef with green onion. The pies must be hand made when you order; the cilantro inside of mine was still crisp, while the meat was cooked through. Service was quick and friendly, and the interior was inviting and clean. They also sell other items, like popular bottled green tea.

This is truly a mom and pop local restaurant. It's been here for years that we never tried. To our surprise, the food was good. The handmade noodles & beef were delicious and good texture. The lamb skewers were seasoned well. The meat was cooked perfectly and good quality, not the odds and ends cut. The dumpling skin was a bit too thick/doughy to my taste. We will come back again for sure.

My wife and I both love Asian food and my wife has been wanting hand made noodles. We live in the San Fernando Valley and we haven't found any hand made noodles in our area. So I looked on the Internet for the best hand rolled noodles and Kam Hong Garden came in second. I told my wife that we were going to dinner but I didn't tell her where. We drove for over 1hrs in the rain 🌧️ and traffic. We were greeted and sat down right away. Their menus are different from the picture on the website. We ordered the Beef Stew with Hand Rolled Noodles Soup and also the Leek with Minced Shrimp Boiled Dumplings and also the Saute Spicy Shrimp 🦐. We were so surprised when they brought out the food. The portions were huge and so very flavorful. Their Hand Rolled Noodles were the best Noodle we've ever eaten. If you want real Hand Rolled Noodles this is the restaurant that you have to come to. We took our leftovers home and had a wonderful lunch the next day.
