Hong Kong Express
Very rude , I order orange chicken and it only had like 7 pieces and a spoonful of brócoli beef and second plate was the same with the orange chicken and the teriyaki chicken and the food was not that great . I’ll never buy from that place again. Paid about $25 for 2 plates
Terrible egg roll tasted rotten. Small portions for price. Rude employees
New Moon Cafe
The food taste like it’s missing something…. Like it needs MSG lol. Not what I expected from Chinese food in a mall setting. Tastes like I cooked it at home is the best way I can describe. It’s also overpriced. A plate at panda is $13 a small bowl Here is $13.80. Wouldn’t eat again. Just okay
Very good! I got the Veggie Combo Plate for $11.99 and enjoyed everything on my plate. It's standard food that I could make at home, so not enough for 5 stars. My plate came with noodles, fried-rice, and veggies. Filling, tasty, and affordable :)
China Cafe
Mom's fav House wonton at China Cafe has become our go to place for the crave. I had never thought of putting lime on wonton or avocado till mom took me to eat here and it works! You get 8 big wontons along with bbq pork, chicken, bok choy, that you have 2 meals if you eat small (pic of mom making her 2) or 1 if really hungry. You also get that chili oil and lime so give it a try. Lunch time and weekends gets busy so the wait will be a while, so take a walk around Grand Central Market while your food is ready.
This food won't change your life. It was a well-sized portion at an acceptable price. The food itself was a touch bland, but nothing intolerable. I see a lot of reviews found the service terrible, but maybe I just caught them on a good day as I found them if not bright and friendly, at least welcoming and polite. While there are certainly better options in Grand Central, when the itch for this food hits, nothing else will hit the right way, regardless of quality.
China Bowl Express
Orange chicken has a wet goopy feel (I prefer more dry) . Not my cup of tea, but I really like their rice and chowmein. Not the best dine in area, but never lets me down. Really nice people.
Absolutely love this place, my family and i have been coming for years and they never disappoint.
Panda Express
This is consistently the worst Panda Express, unfortunately it is also the one that is nearest to my house. Although they don't seem to have too many customers at a given time they are always out of items so they make the customers wait until the chef prepares the item. Today I waited 5 minutes for bourbon chicken but by the time that was ready they were out of broccoli beef. I could have allowed the server to start to prepare my plate less the bourbon chicken until it was ready but... Then the other items would cool down as I waited for the bourbon chicken. The server didn't seem to care at all and had an expression of complete indifference on her face. I walked out, a restaurant that is consistently as poorly mismanaged as this one seems to be doesn't deserve my business. This was not an isolated experience, every time that I have come to this location has been a bad experience, this is the second time that I walked out of the restaurant without eating. This Panda Express needs a new manager who knows what they are doing and who actually cares about their customers. I'll drive to another location further away next time I'm craving Panda Express.
I agree with others that left a poor review. Hair in my food, least fresh compared to other pandas, smallest portion, Not so friendly. I am definitely going to a different location further out.
Chowking
Dining here was a treat for the senses. The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented, making every dish a visual delight. The experience was satisfying from start to finish
I recently tried the new beef wonton king size and 1 entree bangus and I was pleasantly surprised! The bangus was juicy and crispy, and the noodles had a nice kick without being overwhelming. The halo halo were also perfect, and the service was quick and friendly. Be back soon.
Good China
Been here a few times and I don't mind eating here from time to time. The rice is average but good. The noodles were a bit salty for my liking. The orange chicken was a bit bland but I don't mind it at all. My family and I enjoyed the food here for a quick bite.
LOVE THIS PLACE!!! GOOD PRICES AND BOMB FOOD. IM VERY PICKY On Chinese Food Places & This 1 Always Hits The Spot!!
Emperor Express
I ordered the Szechuan beef today and I have to say it was the worst Szechuan beef I have ever tasted. This dish is supposed to be spicy and have a lot of flavor and the beef dish that I picked up today was bland and absolutely horrible. I called to let them know and they said “thank you for telling us“. I Was also Charged $18 when it’s on the menu for a large for $14. Never again.
I’ve been ordering sweet and sour shrimp for years at Emperor Express and it was the BEST! Last night I ordered the same thing and it was terrible! The batter for the shrimp was different, crispy but tasted like a pastry! Totally took over the sweet and sour sauce! There was no flavor! Dry and crispy shrimps with a few pieces of onions, bell peppers and pineapple. PLEASE BRING THE PREVIOUS RECIPE BACK! :-)
Panda Express
I stopped by this Panda Express inside Westfield Sherman Oaks today because I was already in the food court getting something for my wife. I didn't want what she wanted to I came to Panda Express instead. When I came, they didn't have anyone in line so I was able to walk straight up to start building my order. I asked for the plate with chow Mein, kung Pao chicken and orange chicken. They didn't seem to have many entree out because I came right when they open. I took my order to go so I can eat at home. The portion size is small here so I think it's a common practice for all Panda Express. I thought the chow Mein, kung Pao chicken and orange chicken was good but I would wish they give more portion.
We were there yesterday August 26th, and we had ordered food, An hour after several family members were throwing up an experiencing severe stomach pains. All of them ate the chow main from these location.
Panda Express
When I come here I want my food to be warm I should not have to microwave my food at home I don’t live that far from here. I’m a minute away. I out of four items on my plate tastes good. Half and half was horrible. I had better before.
rude guy at front. young guy. he was mot professional and when i left i heard him say ima relax and not do anything. i order food but looked like i got leftovers food was cold and not portioned at all i ordered honey chicken no chicken and broccoli beef just broccoli
Panda Express
So simple, I place an order on my cell phone app. Go pick it up and return home. But find out that the low IQ employee that prepared my order forgot the chow mein, which is clearly visible on the receipt. I go back and informed them of the inconvenience they have caused and asked them to upgrade my order from a bowl to a plate for their error. But to no avail, even the manager pretends to be on the phone .
Good spot for a quick Chinese fix. The food is always hot and freshly prepared. The staff will move you down the line relatively quickly. I think comparatively, this location is better than other Panda Express locations in LA. The space is clean and modern looking. Plenty of free parking in the adjacent parking lot.
Fusion Bowl Chinese Food
This place is no longer OK Chinese as of a year or so ago. Be aware that the older reviews are for when it was OK (no pun intended!). The menu seems to be pretty much the same, but the recipes they are using are a little different. The Orange Chicken is actually a little better, having a bit more chicken and a bit less coating. OK's Fried Chicken Wings were the best dish they had; I would often just go there for a medium order. I haven't yet tried the wings, but I can say they appear different. I'll try to get back here and update this review once I've had a chance to try them. Still a worthwhile, inexpensive place for Chinese take-out.
I like the fried chicken. Limited seating. Not enough parking in this small plaza. They don't have restrooms. You have to call to order food trays. Helpful staffs but need to smile and more of customer service particularly the old lady at the counter.
