Panda Express
Me and my family usually go to this Panda Express, and we usually have a good experience. The food tastes good, good service, never one complaint for the last few years. Recently I went there and took their food to go. For context I ordered the orange chicken, sesame chicken, power greens, and noodles. I ate the chicken and was about to eat the veggies when I noticed a worm on my broccoli. I quickly lost my appetite. We decided to report this to the manager and he gave a nonchalant response of oh these worms stick to the broccoli sometimes. Not very concerned that this could be a health risk. How is this acceptable?
I ordered the new shrimp and steak. The first time shrimp was great. Steak was tough. Order again figuring maybe just that batch. Nope steak real tough. Wasted money. Everything elsr was good.
King's Wok
The establishment's location was aesthetically pleasing and appeared to be well-maintained. The service provided was satisfactory, although there is room for improvement. The chow mein dish was enjoyable, and the friend was exceptional. The orange chicken was acceptable, but the teriyaki chicken was unfortunately overcooked and lacked the expected teriyaki sauce. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous.
I primarily, 95% of the time, come for the fresh ordered Mongolian beef with steamed rice. It is delish!!! The serving size is sufficient and great price.
China Gate Restaurant
Excellent service, great portions, and fast serving times! The most important thing is that they have reasonable prices! My beef with broccoli was delicious, full of beef and vegetables. I did check out the menu online before actually going to China gate because there are so many choices...glad I did!
This Chinese food is hands down the best Chinese food on this side of town! It is always fresh and they cook the food really well.I had the Mushroom Chicken,to be honest, this is my favorite taste! I will come back!
Panda Express
I ordered through GrubHub because it happens to be a lazy day for me. The location is less than 10 minutes from me, so my review is not based on cold food or food that has been sitting in a car for too long waiting to be delivered. I have been to several Panda expresses throughout the USA and this by far is at the bottom of the list 😕 Everything was just mediocre and it is what it is. I ordered the bigger plate that comes with a choice of three... I chose Honey walnut shrimp, the Beijing beef and the Sesame chicken with half steamed rice and half lo mein. Not super impressed, but I got my Panda Express craving out of the way.
Not the place that I was expecting. I love Panda Express but NOT this location. Stay away. Go to another one if you're able. The staff wasn't friendly and some collar shirt people were there. Maybe managemen? And even they were not friendly. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. That's what helps with chain restaurants but maybe they're not enjoying what they do. The food was not good either. Rice was meh. Orange Chicken was not fresh and if this would have been my first time trying Orange Chicken, I would say it's not good at all. No working A/C at this location. Felt so hot and all we wanted to do was just leave! This location: BAD BAD BAD!
Auntie Kitchen
**AWARE**Fake Hainam Chicken** Ordered BBQ Pork with Hainam Chicken Rice, pork is out so substituted with roasted duck. You called this Hainam Chicken? There’s no seasoning in the rice or special sauce on the side for the chicken! Only the ginger sauce! It looks like BaiZhanJi!
The food was really fresh and tasty services was amazing and price is really cheap. The family running this place is really helpful and friendly The food was fresh and tasty. The portion was very generous. Beef stew was ultra tender Yang chow fried rice was overflowing. Across cash and card.
Panda Express
Andy has the best vibes! Don’t see to many young people with the same energy. Very polite and communicative.
My wife and I looked forward to eating at Panda. We used to eat at their branch at Hacienda Heights. But we were at the mall, so we went to the food court. First, their food servings were smaller than usual. Seconds, they don’t allow drink refills. Lastly, they did not have paper napkins. When my wife asked for the paper towels instead that was available, the woman server cannot but gave my wife torn pieces that were useless and gravely insulting. When I complained, she now suggested that we ask for napkins from the other food outlets. She was passing her problem to the customer. Only when I started to raise my voice did Steven, probably the manager, approached me. He apologized, gave me what the woman cannot, and promised to “talk” to her. I don’t know if he would, but l also promised to give the a bad review. I was surprised that I was not the first or only one to give the place a bad review. I am very disappointed at Panda.
Panda Express
Tonight was not a good experience. Picked up food but they charged me for rice, a few strands of noodles the entrees seemed to have switched places with the side dishes. Panda is not known for serving an abundance of food which is good for eating sensibly, but tonight I am so disappointed. Here we have a double order of orange chicken with noodles. Seriously? Noodle bowl with honey walnut shrimp. You can count the shrimp, again not expecting a pound but this seemed under the top as opposed to over the top. This is supposed to be a broccoli beef bowl with steamed rice. Again sensible i understand but this is ridiculous. When I saw the plates I actually looked at the server and asked: “where’s the broccoli?” She smiled but said nothing. The person that appeared to be the manager heard me but did nothing as well. My family and I have been coming here for years, lately ordering delivery which seemed like the reason why the orders were light. 🤔 Today was the last day I visit this Panda. Perhaps this is the universe suggesting we cook at home.
Some have a good customer service took too long to get my food this time around but the worse part is that they serve low amount food, not coming back here again. This isn’t my first time here and every time is the same thank goodness there’s a Chinese food that just opened up near by.
Yunnan Restaurant
Beautiful and clean. Culture accent atmosphere. Free all you can eat fruits bar. The variety of cold appetizers is very delicious. Service is excellent 👌
Yunnan Guoqiao Garden is a cozy and charming spot that beautifully showcases the flavors of Yunnan cuisine. The restaurant’s clean and thoughtfully designed interior, with wooden accents and warm lighting, sets the perfect tone for an enjoyable meal. I also appreciated the display of specialty cold dishes near the entrance—a great touch for anyone wanting to try a variety of flavors. The Tianqi Steamed Chicken Soup was the star of the meal. Served in a traditional clay pot, the broth was rich and aromatic, with subtle herbal notes that made it deeply comforting. The chicken was tender and infused with the flavors of the soup, making each bite feel like a treat. It’s the kind of dish that lingers in your mind long after the meal. The service was efficient, ensuring everything arrived promptly, though there’s a little room for improvement in terms of attentiveness. Overall, Yunnan Guoqiao Garden delivers on its promise of authentic and satisfying Yunnan flavors, and it’s a spot I’d happily revisit.
Kang Kang Shau May Restaurant
The food here is amazing 🤤. First off their beef rolls are to die for. And they give you so many and they just taste the best! The pan fried buns🥟 are cooked to perfection as well. I got both of these items to go. Of course I had a little taste first teehee. I ate a bowl of their little wontons in the store🥣. Those were amazing also. The restaurant was hot af to sit in though. They don’t have the air conditioning on. Just the fans which don’t do much lol. But the food makes up for it. Everything is so delicious. They make the best food!!! I am so impressed.
I got myself one large and satisfying bowl of beef noodle soup. There is a large selection of food , drinks, and dessert at this restaurant. Hard to choose from the menu and all look good but later when I tried some the quality wasn’t amazing. The milk tea I really couldn’t finish it tasted like the cheap powdered mix in. Most their menu is ready made and is served directly from the heated trays. Other stuff from the menu takes a few minutes to come out of the kitchen. My beef noodle soup was worth the wait, delicious taste and steaming hot. They were able to modify and make it non-spicy. It was a treat! I wouldn’t have the bean sprout soup again however it didn’t taste fresh. Tray item quality also not the best imo.
Panda Express
Have been ordering the cream cheese ragoons lately via postmates. And the last 3 orders ove gotten stale ass wonton that have definitely been sitting under the lamp. I suggest when people order off postmates, you fry a fresh batch. Won't be ordering off postmates again. Ughh
The amount of cabbage / vegetables in the chow main is Insane ! ordered Half And Half but Instead Got Rice And Cabage With 3 Noodles
Panda Express
They gave me a faint whiff of the sirloin steak. It was mostly onions and bell pepper in a flavorless sauce. The chow mein was also dry and bland. The only good thing was the orange chicken. This is definitely the last time I give Panda a chance. Go down the street and give Chinese Taste a try instead, it's right next to the chic fil a. They will load you up at a cheaper price, and the selection actually has flavor. I recommend the fish.
I’ve had horrible experiences at this Panda location twice. First time, they were VERY stingy on portion sizes. I always order plates & have gotten double the portion compared to what this location gives. However, I wanted to give them a second chance. They managed to do even worse. For me to say I was livid is an understatement. I place an online order at approximately 9:30pm & when I walked in to pick it up at the estimated time, they said they were unable to check my order since they closed online ordering at 9:30pm. I’ve ordered around this time at multiple locations and NEVER had this issue. They refused to offer me a refund. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS. If you’re craving Panda and reside in Azusa, go to either the Grand/Badillo or the Mountain/Duarte location.
Xi'an Kitchen
First time trying Xi'an Kitchen. My daughter treated us for lunch. Very small restaurant with huge servings. The foods are authentic Chinese cuisine. They are fast to serve. The prices are reasonable. This place is a diamond in the rough. We will definitely return to try something else on the menu.
It’s a good place for girls gathering, our orders are good large portion for four of us. We had a lamb soup, a spicy oil noodles, a pan-fried large intestine, and a tomato egg noodles, very satisfying! And another point makes worthy to eat is the hand-shakes drink available next door! You should go with friends for a good lunch time!
