Chin's Gourmet
Food: 5* Service: 4* Ambiance: 4* Enjoyed a dinner here after Shen Yun at the Escondido Arts complex. My family and I enjoyed Honey Walnut Shrimp (5*), Beef with broccoli (5*), Seafood crispy noodles (5*), Soft Noodle Chow Mein (5*), Schezwan Shrimp, (5*), and House special fried rice (5*). This Chinese-American restaurant, which apparently has 3 locations, was actually a very pleasant surprise. The honey shrimp were delicious, lightly sweet, plump, amply portioned, and very tasty. The beef with broccoli was very good with crisp tender broccoli and good pieces of beef in a dark soy sauce based sauce. The seafood crispy noodles was fantastic, full of different types of seafood (scallops, shrimp, fish fillet, and calamari) in a light but tasty sauce served over wok seared crispy noodles. Over time, the noodles soften as they soak up the gravy to a great texture, crispy bits and chewy bits. Very satisfying. My dad ordered the chow mein, as he loves veggies, and it was very good. The noodles with kissed with the breath of the wok, as they should be, and plenty of lightly sautéed vegetables. The Schezwan shrimp were in a deeply dark sauce with a little spice, but very little. It was mostly white pepper. Lots of water chestnuts added a good texture to the dish. Lastly, the house special fried rice was great. Lightly smokey from the wok with chicken, beef, and shrimp. Excellent all around. The service was a little slow and we had to ask a few times for things as they were busy. But otherwise, the staff were friendly, helpful, and relatively attentive. This is a great spot to have some excellent Chinese-American fare which is centrally and conveniently located. Next time I am in the area for any of their locations, I will make sure to stop by and enjoy again.
Adding this as one of our favorites. The hot-n-sour soup was actually HOT and the atmosphere was soothing. We LOVE soup dumplings and these are some of the best. Also a favorite are the braised string beans - tossed with ground pork with a tender yet snap consistency. I dont usually rave about eggrolls but these were the bomb, served with the perfect sweet n sour hot mustard sauce. Will defiantly repeat!

Fasia Buffet
10/19/2023 Lunch at Fasia. Not too busy price was about $16.00. Well worth the meal. As always sushi is my favorite and here the salmon is really good. Then I had the corn I think it was over cooked but still good. Finally it's on to mushroom chicken. Mmmmmm so so yummy. That is the best meal of all. I could stay longer as I had dessert and drinks but I don't want to over do it! Amazing meal considering today's food prices! Sunday Review The best time to go is Sunday before 4:00 pm because you are paying 20.99 for the meal as you get all the food and drinks included. You will need to get your drink and food. Everyone was getting fried food. Me? I grab the sushi, raw salmon and seaweed. Then on to soup. After it's mushroom and soft shell crab with shrimp. Did not get to the dessert...or other goodies. Overall a great feast!!
Very disappointing. My husband really wanted to try this buffet so I agreed to go with him. I couldn't eat anything other than the white rice without gagging. The place smells like bad seafood and everything is made using the most inexpensive ingredients. You're better off buying frozen dinners.
Panda Express
Every time I have online order, they didn’t put the utensils and napkins in the bag even if I leave the instruction in the Panda Express app and then I have to ask them again, food is good tho
I am not at all that impressed by the customer service at this place. I sent my husband in to get an item that I didn't realize Panda no longer sells, which is the bag of crispy noodles that used to be at the front counter. Instead of just telling him politely that they didn't know what he was talking about (even though it honestly used to be pretty popular) or that they no longer sell them, they laughed at him, behind his back and to his face, in front of a line full of customers . Look, I get it. It's 9:45 at night, and you've probably had a long day. But he was being respectful. The 'tude was not called for. You work at a Panda Express, ladies. Get over yourselves.
Hungr
They kept sending me food when I didn’t even order it. Packaging was poor and often leaking. I tried to skip deliveries and I finally had to cancel just to stop getting food I didnt even order.
have always had a beyond great experience with Hungr until my most recent order when I received a BLT with no bacon :( I know mistakes happen but my main issue now is that I have been unable to get a response from anyone to correct this, it has been a week now. Disappointed as i have always liked using his app.
