Funny af they play country music & Mr. Brightside here cuz it’s westernized. But a bit pricey. Also their neon sign is so funny but camp. They also have this $180 Godzilla Challenge where if you eat 3 lbs of meat plus all veggies in 30 mins or less you get all that for free. Seems like a great place for vibes. Bar searing. Wine Wednesdays. Lunch specials. I was sus at first when I read it was westernized hot pot and was like there’s no way they can mess up boiling raw ingredients in a soup right. Actually not bad.

Fist of all, I'm not into hot pot but I thought I would give it a try. I was impressed and happy with the food and delicious flavors which you can almost make yourself with all the things you add to the pot. There are lots of ingredients, sauces, spices that you can add to your taste and can't go wrong. As for the ingredients, all are very fresh, great choices and variety of veggies and lots of great meat choices too. Highly recommend, even if it's your first try.

As I’ve heard many times if the low ratings are for service then it’s a good Chinese restaurant. The food is great.

A very dissapointing recent experience. Food was just ok, service not good and bordered on rude. Black nats or fruit flies around our table during tbe whole meal. Told the server..no one cares there. Take out only, at best.

House chicken lunch special was so delicious! It is such a great price and the portions were so big! The waiters and staff were so friendly and accommodating, I definitely recommend and will be coming back :)

Ordered through Door Dash to eat with my virtual team at work during our winter conference. Ordered 2 thai teas, chicken dumplings, and their fish in black bean sauce lunch special. Definately had enough food for my daughter's after school snack and my lunch. Food preparation was quick and the door dash managed to bring the food right away. My fish was nicely fried and quickly stir fried in black bean sauce. The sauce wasn't as pronouces as in other places, but overall the flavor was good. My daughter enjoyed the chow mein and chicken dumplings. Thai tea helped hit the spot as dessert. Overall a pretty economical meal at around $25.00 (amount of the gift card provided by the company).

We have previously been to the location down in Convoy and this one is so different in a good way. Plenty of parking, a big spacious location, and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Opposite of the convoy location, which is always hectic, busy, lack of parking etc. We enjoyed our meal and hope to come back to this location sometime soon.

Grandson and I looking for something while at the mall. Hungry - choosing Tasty Noodle House and it was a fantastic choice. Excellent service and food was Amazing!! Fresh and unique clean flavors. Beautifully plated. Highly recommend!!

Found this place on DoorDash as we were craving something warm and soupy. We got the special pho and chicken banh mi. Pho was tasty and portions were large. Tendons that are usually my favorite part were so chewy and inedible. These are usually cooked until they melt in your mouth. Banh mi was tasty too but lacking veggies big time, missing the cucumber and herbs, bread also chewy and stale, lots of room for improvement, hopefully these are not the norm here.

Came to Carlsbad and my wife was craving some Pho so we hit this place up. We were staying at the Hampton inn not to far down the road which was convenient for us. So I looked them up and found out that they Doordash!!! So i ordered and i did go pick it up myself which I didnt mind at all. By the time I got there the food was ready to go! Very well put together for a to go order. All items had their own separate containers which helped with the building of the dish later. Now let's get to the good stuff. The Pho was AWESOME!! Great flavor and plentiful. We had the PO#6 OPTION and it had it all. The spring rolls were also good. And the fried egg roll were great as well. Me and the family really enjoyed this place and highly recommend it. Thanks guys!!

This place is great. High quality food. Delicious. I had the Teriyaki Chicken and brown rice for lunch. So yummy. $14.95. That's a great lunch price. The patio is delightful. Service was excellent. I highly recommend it.

Disappointing Experience at P.F. Chang's - September 7, 2024 I recently visited P.F. Chang's in Carlsbad on September 7, 2024, at 7:20 PM, with a party of 11 (5 adults and 6 kids). Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we had hoped for. We arrived as walk-ins and were informed by Blenda (with long black hair) that large groups should make reservations or call ahead. She told us there were no available tables and that we would need to wait 25 minutes, even though the restaurant was only 50% full. We were added to the waitlist, and I received a message that our table was ready. However, when we went to be seated, the table wasn’t prepared. We waited in the designated area, only to receive another message that our table had been canceled. When I approached Blenda for clarification, her attitude was dismissive, and she didn’t apologize for the mistake. It was frustrating and uncomfortable, but I decided to wait a little longer to avoid ruining the kids' birthday celebration. Eventually, one of our group members asked to be seated separately, and the staff combined some empty tables in the corner to accommodate us. This solution could have been offered from the beginning, and I was confused as to why it wasn’t. Throughout the interaction, Blenda repeatedly reminded me that large groups should make reservations, which I acknowledged. However, her tone and response felt dismissive and insensitive. Whether the restaurant does not want to accommodate large groups or if this is their policy, it felt as though I was being given a lesson for having dined there. I am paying for food and service, including a guaranteed tip for groups of 8 or more. Is this kind of service acceptable? While the food was excellent and the servers themselves were friendly, the management’s handling of our situation was extremely disappointing. Following this incident, I sent a complaint to the corporate office 4 days ago and received an email from the local restaurant partner suggesting further discussion. I responded but have yet to hear back. It seems that this restaurant has no intention of resolving the issue. I would not recommend this location to anyone, and I certainly will not be returning.

Throughout our meal, not once did a staff member approach our table to inquire if we needed anything or to check on our satisfaction. This lack of attentiveness made the experience feel exceedingly transactional and impersonal. While reviews might paint a rosy picture, my experience suggests otherwise. For those seeking a genuine and pleasant dining experience, I would recommend exploring other options.

This is hands-down the best Indian restaurant around! The food is authentic, flavorful, and made with care. Their biryani is an absolute standout—perfectly spiced, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. Every dish I’ve tried has been a treat, and the service is warm and attentive, making the dining experience even better. If you’re craving truly authentic Indian food, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Very good chicken parm sandwich, had a spicy kick to it! However it did take a little time for my food to get there, which was a shame

Great spot in Carlsbad for sandwiches. It was my 2nd time coming here and like the first time, it didn't disappoint. Sandwiches are amazing, salads are fresh and short friendly staff. It gets really busy during the lunch time, but guests are in/out pretty fast so never an issue finding a take try sit at. They have lots of sandwiches to choose from and also daily/weekly specials. Must try spot when you're in Carlsbad.

Nope. I ordered several dishes tonight. I moved out of state 2 years ago and this was one of just a few places I needed to eat at. So disappointed. House special Chicken was garbage. Asked for extra sauce and caramelized sauce. Didn't happen. Got large chunks of rubbery chicken and rice. What? Where's my container of just chicken? You gave me a scoop of sub par chicken and a bunch of rice. Somehow the spring rolls were over cooked on one side and way under on the other.

Ate here last night I ordered chowmain noodles and orange chicken. It was so disgusting the nastiest food I ever ate I couldn't finish eating it 15$ wasted...the orange chicken was heavily breaded and mushy the noodles taste like a lot of teriyaki sauce YUCK!🤮 wish I would've ate at panda express instead.

I REALLY wanted to love this place. The decor and atmosphere are perfect. The staff and service are perfect. The food looked perfect, and was plated perfectly, but was bland and Luke warm. The fries were warm and lightly salted, not bad with ketchup. The tri-tip had a nice crust and was quite tender and a perfect medium rare, but served cold and not too flavorful, but the sauce, akin to cocktail sauce, was tasty. The Mac and cheese side was beautiful looking but mushy and luke warm with a slightly smoky flavor but otherwise bland, it could use some truffle or rosemary, perhaps? The bok choy side was warm and perfect, with a great cook and nice buttery flavor. The turkey dinner was good, the turkey nice and hot, super tender and the turkey gravy was perfect. The stuffing was very nice and a great compliment to the turkey. The garlic mashed potato was very good. The walnut brownie and crispy onion string were amazing! The service was the star of the show. I informed the hostess, it was cold, and she got me whole new plate which was much warmer. Happy camper! I hope they get some plate warmers :)

We are always looking for vegetarian and gf options. We really liked that you could build your own salad here. The salad tasted fresh. The tomato soup and fries didn't have a lot of flavor. It is a little dark inside, but it was very clean.

Exquisite settings. Awesome fresh food and the live music had excellent sound. Not loud. They figured it out!! Love the decor & service. Nicole our server made our dinner special. Bill made sure we sat comfortably. I am ipressed.

🍜 🍛 🥦 Huge restaurant with lots of table and bar seating, game on, and they have live music too. Good food, I recommend the drunken noodles, pad see ew, and the Duck Curry. The curry sauce was great. The salad was good too. They also have a great happy hour with good deals for wine and beer.

Overpriced. Frozen, thinly sliced meat options of pork, chicken, beef. Meat and veggies sitting in plastic containers that look like dishwashing buckets. And the overall atmosphere gives off health hazard vibes. Not worth the price or possible stomach virus.

A nice spot for some good diversity of food in the mall. Good selection of meats to choose from, rice and noodles with many vegetables to choose from. Get there early if you like rice with your mix. The noodles are solid. Customer service is top notch, helpful from beginning to end of service. Best thing is that they are next to the Ninja Expo. Shop till your hungry and grab some lunch before or after your purchases. Get some with some friends or a few family members.
