Clever Koi
This is a good fusion spot. The bao appetizer was not the best. The chicken was delicious and cooked well, but the Korean pork and the pork belly were fried to a flavor limiting crisp. The XO Noodles and the Orange Chicken were delicious and a great marriage of spice and fresh ingredients.
We were on a road trip driving through Phoenix and stopped by this place since it has decent rating eye catching food pics. However we ended up disappointed. The food was mediocre to bad. There was a lack of flavor in all the main dishes, but the calamari fries were especially salty. There was a sign that says “voted best ramen in Arizona” by some newspaper in the front of the store, so we got excited and ordered a ramen. If this tonkotsu ramen bowl were the best in Arizona then I feel bad for the state of Arizona. The broth was bland and the meat was so dry. The cocktail was pretty good though, bravo to the bartenders! Service was nice but slow. We were late on our itinerary so we tried to eat fast and continue our trip, but after we finished eating, our waitress was no where to be found. We waited for a whole 10 minutes before we coud hand her our card, then another 5 minutes to get it back
Mifan
The food was amazing . Crispy Gyoza Bao Hot and Sour Soup with Tofu All of the flavors were such a treat. The place was clean and very calm. To access parking is a bit of a headache, and you have to make sure you scan the QR code found the the MuSe garage.
Second time I’ve been to this place, and I’m already craving to go back. We ordered the Veggie Gyoza, Spicy Udon Mein and HK Typhoon Style Claypot. These dishes were cooked and flavored flawlessly. I find that many restaurants don’t cook tofu well but Mifan has the best tofu I’ve ever had. I also enjoy the chill atmosphere, staff was nice and their food is very affordable. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Phoenix!
Long Wong's
Loving their boneless wings!! Have been back a few times already haha. We also tried a bacon cheese burger which was okay but nothing too special. The house fried rice was pretty good. 100% wings is the way to go here though in our opinion. Also, it is take out only now. I saw others complaining about the inside but, when I was there, it seemed pretty clean, albeit old but this place has been here forever. That’s part of the appeal! Anyway, take out only!!
This pink little restaurant with the biggest best tasting food! Is phenomenal the prices are fair for the amount of food you get. I don’t know her name but she’s always busy, moving, focused. I Greet her with a smile asked her how she’s doing first. To get her away from the go go go. Than I order. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. I’m going here today. The mild chicken wings and the beef fried rice are my favorite. Other family favorites are the pork fried rice and hot dog. The fries are perfect cut. I’ll order when they open and pick up. Mind you I’ll pass about 10 + chicken wing restaurants for sure. But these are worth the drive. For me and my daughter who grew up on these delicious meaty wings. This is Our Forever Favorite chicken wing Spot!!! Just give it a try once, I guarantee ……. You’ll be back! Your Welcome 👍🏼
P.F. Chang's
Went here with co-workers for lunch. The staff was friendly and nice. We weren't really greeted at the door and just ushered to our table. The waitress came and took our drink order, then dropped it off and disappeared. A while later, she came back to take our orders. The food was good and cooked well, but I wish we had better service
Had the absolute best service from Hayley. She was kind, answered all my questions and super knowledgeable about the menu and options I had. Kept checking in on me and refilled my drink. Food came out absolutely amazing. Every time I’m never let down with this location. Best service ever!
Sun Star Buffet
After 14 years not being in phoenix az I drove by Nd I’m very surprised it’s still standing on Buisness I’ll be stopping by soon 😭💗 I missed my hometown very much xoxo
I always went here as a kid and the food is so good, but put more options plz, but it's pretty inside with the Chinese arts! And idk how yall give atmosphere 3 or less, like the staff are kind, it's pretty inside, and it's not crowded lmao, stop with these fake reviews and tryna cancel everything 💀🤣
Lychee Kitchen
Great experience, customer service was A+! We love the food and thanks for packaging our takeout, most definitely will come again!
Lychee Kitchen is an absolute gem! My family and I enjoyed an amazing meal, starting with their specialty Happy Family dish, which was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. We also tried the Las Vegas and Dragon Rolls, and both were fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. The Egg Drop Soup was a comforting classic done right. Every bite was a delight, and the service was just as exceptional—attentive, friendly, and welcoming. If you’re looking for high-quality Asian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere, Lychee Kitchen is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
Thai E-San
The food is delicious. The veggie egg rolls were fresh & crispy. We also got chicken fried rice, coconut soup, beef panang curry, and the red curry chicken. They were all delicious and great portion size. We also loved that there was an option for alternative milk (coconut) for the Thai iced tea. The service was also great. They were very attentive to us and gave refills on soda without us even having to ask. They even packaged our leftovers for us. Will definitely return again!
Visiting from Southern California and was itchibg for some Thai food. This place came up on a top 10 list for Phoenix area Thai. Did not disappoint. The royal yellow curry and the pad Thai (not the regular one) were pretty good. My wife feels it’s among the best yellow curry she’s ever had. It was that good.
New Garden Restaurant
So I saw a lot of posts about this place. It's definitely good and it is affordable the sesame chicken was really good. I really liked the fried rice and the chicken/buffalo wings were very good! I would definitely recommend it but not sure how often I will visit as there are other places in town that might have a little bit more of what I am looking for in a Chinese restaurant. If you want to eat at a restaurant this is definitely one of the better places for sure especially with the price.
Food was good. I got the sesame chicken and it was affordable and the chicken was nice and crunchy and the sauce was really good. The egg drop soup was also really good. I do have to say that the restaurant is a bit run down inside but it’s been there since the 40s so it makes sense but they could definitely do things like replace the ceiling tiles and stuff to spruce it up. Regardless, I would definitely eat here again.
Tam's
Best jalapeño wings around hands down I suggest them cook done ✅ but not cooked hard, when they are greasy and juicy they are at its best🤤
Been a customer for 20+ years. Food usually hits but everything seemed to be missing an ingredient today. I ordered jalepeno hot wings and am 99%sure it was bell pepper instead of jalepeno. Ordered shrimp and beef fried rice and both seem dry and flavorless compared to the old standard I remember from this place. Really sucks when one of your favorite places starts to lose their touch in the kitchen.
Basilic Vietnamese Kitchen
Basilic Vietnamese Kitchen is a hidden gem in Phoenix! I tried the chicken curry, which was rich, flavorful, and easily enough to share between two people. The cozy ambiance made it a perfect spot for our community neighborhood meeting, offering a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The service was attentive, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine and a great place to connect, Basilic is a fantastic choice. We’ll definitely be back!
This place was super disappointing. They were supposed to have lots of vegetarian options but we're out of vegan broth. Their fried rice is $19 and comes with seafood, chicken, and beef. They said they could do it with just vegetables, but still wante /d to charge me $19 because "bok choy is expensive. " What a ripoff. The interior was nice and the server was friendly enough, but overall I was dissatisfied. Not authentic, unprepared, and unreasonably expensive.
FiGaMi Asian Fresh
We had several different items off their menu and most of it was gross. The only thing that was semi good was the salmon avocado roll. The restaurant is super dirty and our table was sticky. If you have any questions, they won’t be able to answer you. I would not recommend this place at all.
I was surprised when I tried the Ramen since it has a very special seasoning similar to a homemade ramen, the sushi was very delicious although I would prefer ramen. The atmosphere is a bit lonely. The customer service is very good, they served us quickly even though there were quite a few customers. The prices are very affordable and highly recommended.
Little Dragon Chinese Restaurant
We had ordered take out. First time here, unfortunately will be last. Problem items. 1 war wonton soup - literally tastes like water and the wontons are way overdone. We ordered 2 32 oz. Servings. 2 Mongolian Beef. The serving size was great but unfortunately ate 1 bite. The beef was “slimey” feeling in your mouth. So bad. 3 lo mein chicken. Too salty and the noodles are way overcooked. Didn’t eat either. 4. Fried shrimp appetizer - tastes like was cooked in old oil. This was a waste of $65. That is a hefty amount to throw it all away.
I ordered Cashew Shrimp, and Mongolian Beef. The Cashew Shrimp was good (average). The Mongolian Beef is nothing more than long cooked beef fat. 2 other people tasted it, and said, "it taste like it's been sitting in grease". There is so much fat it made me Nauseous. This is not a place I will come back to. I hope others have a better experience than me. M.L.C.
