Eight of us came in for lunch. The service was great. Even though it was lunch rush we were seated in less than 5 minutes. The drinks came not far behind. The place looks kind of like a sports bar because of all the tv monitors inside. We ordered in groups and one of the group picked up the bill for my wife and me. When the food arrived it was hot and fresh and tasty. There was mostly Italian food. The waitress came by frequently to make sure our cups were full. Several of us had to have "doggy bags" because the portions were generous. If we are in that area again durning hungry time we will probably stop there again.

I just moved to the Semmes area and have been wanting good pizza. This hit the spot after a long day of cleaning! I ordered the hot honey pepperoni and it is delicious. I look forward to eating at this restaurant again. Some other items caught my eye and I noticed a good selection of other Italian cuisine. Looking around while picking up my order, I was impressed with the atmosphere and I want to dine in soon! The staff was quick to help me and kind. Thank you for the pizza. It was great!

Great place. Had award winning Gumbo. I can see why it's a winner. Need a quick dinner? They have premade dishes, just heat and eat

Nice lunch place next to the USS Alabama. We both had sandwiches; his was a Ruben and mine was chicken salad. The pasta salad was good but, he wasn’t a fan of the potato salad. The prices are a little high; then, the sandwiches are huge when they were served. Two people could share a sandwich easily and save some cost.

The food was good, exactly what you'd expect from a Chinese buffet in a strip mall. The outside looks rough, but the buffet is good. I'd give 5 stars, except there weren't many low cal options. No salad, but a good selection of fruit. I made do on fruit, soup, shrimp and salmon. They have several good desserts. Hubs liked most of the other fare: fried rice, etc. The waitress was really good! The perfect balance between attentiveness and not being pushy. We'd definitely go again.

Ordered fried dumplings. They came out burnt on top and the bottom wasn’t done. Tried to send them back and they wouldn’t take them and wouldn’t make more. Also wouldn’t take them off the bill. Also ordered sesame chicken and white rice also came with an egg roll. Egg roll was nasty and rice was overdone. Hurt my stomach to try to eat it. Would not recommend coming here service is awful.

Great food at great prices, especially with the Combinations, which sound more expensive but actually are less expensive. With then, you get a good amount of the ordered dish plus an egg roll and fried rice. With the regular meal, you get a quite big portion of the ordered meal, plus more fried rice (very good) but no egg roll.

The rice is bland and flavorless. The General Tso chicken had sauce dumped on it and was closer to sweet and sour. It tasted significantly better when it was microwaved than fresh. The egg roll was horrible. On the bright side the fried dumplings while partially burned were good and so were the cream cheese wantons.

The first time here, food is brought out in "to go " boxes. You have to ring a countertop bell to get service. May or may not be going back. The food we ate isn't on here.

This buffet is pretty good. Only complaint is the hibachi noodles where very chewy not soft. Some food was a bit old even at lunch however it is a small area so not a lot of traffic to rotate food quickly.

I love it here, the food is good most of the time, there are some days I go and the food is overcooked or dry. The workers don't really understand me but that's ok. It is a little overpriced but the food is worth it, I pay about$ 26 every time I go with my mother, not bad.

Actually I would give them a negative 4 (-4). We have been ordering from them ever since they opened and have been happy until tonight. It was there worse we have ever gotten from them. Nothing was eatable. We had to give the four dishes we ordered to the dogs. We will not be ordering from them again.

Food taste good but there are a few things that definitely need improvement. Vegetables need to be getting steamed atleast 15/20 minutes longer. Rice was great and the chicken Definitely was a pleaser. Plate could be a bit bigger for serving so to make it easier to add sauce but otherwise I'd give them 💯 compared to other places around decatur for price and quality of food and staff!

I can't believe it's only $8.99 for an all-you-can-eat buffet. The food was pretty good with a wide variety of food. I would definitely come again if I was in town

This was the first time visiting. The staff were very attentive. The atmosphere was pretty good. However, the food was a bit off the mark. I am a huge egg roll snob so I would definitely give a 4.5 star on that alone. The honey chicken was extremely tough as if it was chicken jerky and the sauce did not taste like honey. The rangoons were pretty good but a little chewy than I'm used to. I'm not sure I'll be back which is sad because we just moved here and finally got the chance to come try their food.

Update: hot and spicy beef was very good. New favorite. Pretty decent Chinese take out. I drive the 12 min from work to go here vs other places close by. Huge portions every time. Today I got the black pepper chicken and its the best thing I've tried from there. Chicken was a little chewy and too much sauce but their noodles are my favorite and the spring rolls are always super crunchy and hot.

It’s a small eatery in a store front with huge flavor. It’s convenient in and out, has a drive thru and if you’re in a rush just call ahead. The spot is always clean and the service is always friendly. The food is made to order while you wait but still comes out in a timely fashion. I’m a fan of their broccoli chicken and egg drop soup. Condiments are self serve and everything is always well stocked. They’re located next door to Pizza Hut. Give them a shot. You can thank me later.

Let me say. I live in SoCal. I’m from Decatur and went back home for thanksgiving. We went to eat here and unfortunately I’d had just eaten a biscuit at home so I wasn’t too hungry. But I’ve been to many restaurants here in La and Orange County and I can’t find one to compare to Lucky. And the price was amazing. We all 3 ate for what one would eat at a comparable place here. Can’t wait to go back. I’m gonna make sure I’m empty when I go. So good and they were very nice. Thanks for a nice visit.

Sushi was warm. Good kind of tasteless. Hot and sour soup. good. Beef with mixed vegetables was ok. Not the best not the worst. Staff ok. Sushi is expensive. Prices especially for sushi have gone up significantly.

We had a fantastic dinner at this wonderful family-owned restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with kindness and hospitality. The food was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious! We could tell it was made with care. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We truly appreciate the friendly service and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing Chinese food and a great dining experience!

Great clean take out I've gone several times through the years new menu orange chicken lunch

This is a great Chinese take out restaurant. It is clean, and the family that ownes it does all they can to put out great food. There are a few tables to dine in if you choose to, but it is not an eat at location. We order ahead, and it is always ready in fifteen minutes. I usually get the Mongolian beef. However, this time, we both ordered the Szechuan Beef, and it was very good. They pack in very nice plastic containers, and the portions are huge. It is all that you can eat for one meal. It comes with fried rice and a spring roll or soup. All of this for just $10.45. It's definitely our choice for Chinese food.
