Kowloon Chinese Restaurant
Hole in the wall you would definitely miss it if not familiar with the area but it’s some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. Very generous portions and the food comes out quick. Largest spring roll I have ever had in my life also. They also provided complimentary soup.
Service 5 star FOOD 5 star Atmosphere 4 star Place has great service there quick to attend you, food has flavor and there is a lot of food, prices are vary low especially for the amount of food they bring out I recommend they raise there prices as I eat in the streets all the time and there prices are vary low, you can difinetly fill up and feed many with 2 or 3 plates, the Atmosphere how ever is below average if they change there lighting they would improve Atmosphere, place is a good spot to eat a lot with flavor and for a few bucks!! All in all it's a great place for a full quick grab and plenty of food!! Can't beat that!
Ken's
Lots of great food at a great price! My daughter has raved about this for years and it didn’t disappoint. I was thinking the place looked sketch but that’s where the food is always good. Best lo mein I’ve had before. Vegetable fried rice actually had vegetables and they were fresh! Sweet and sour sauce was blah but the order was ready quickly and the people there were kind. Gave us lots of extra duck and soy sauce.
Food was good but be warned this is a take out, you don't want to eat inside. Very reasonable prices, a ton of food.
China One
The best, me and my girl eat here every chance we get. Delivery is always super fast, say they will be there in 30/45 and it’s never more than 25/30. Food is fresh and hot when it arrives. Customer service is among the best. GREAT portions with GREAT prices with GREAT taste. 10/10.
I always enjoy the lunch special menu! Good price! Good portion! And tasty!
Dick Lee Pastry Shop
Very very good, fresh dim sum. The owner is passionate about food. All the flavors were coming from fresh ingredients and not added sugar or heavy added flavors.
PLEASE DONT EAT HERE we were in the area, thought it looks quaint. Lots of people so it seemed safe. Food was overpriced for what it was and SO BAD. I couldn’t eat any. My boyfriend had a bit of everything before we tossed it. I swear the plastic forks are used and dirty — just wrapped in napkin. I wouldn’t be surprised if they reuse the plasticwear. Don’t eat here
All You Can Eat Dim-Sum
FOOD FIT ONLY FOR BAITING RATS. You could not pay me to eat here again. The quality of food that the owner served to us was blatantly disrespectful. You could pick through the trash bins in Chinatown and reheat it for the same experience. The food quality is VERY low. The buffet experience consistents of the owner bringing out paper plates, and plastic to-go packages of small amounts of random reheated/refried old food and insisting "you do not worry, no time limit, no food limit" then disappearing for a long time. Worst spring rolls I have ever had. Had beans, carrots and lima beans in them. See the attached picture. Fried "handmade" noodles were just random box noodles, also were burnt. We purchased cold dumplings from a street vendor that were better than anything this place had to offer. The dumplings he served looked like someone else's left overs. As we were eating a local driving by yelled out his window and warned us, "do not eat here, you will hurt" Do not waste your money or risk your health here!
A disaster. The FDA needs to investigate this place. Old, stale baked goods and just not a great environment. Sometimes, hole in the wall places have a certain charm of genuineness but this place just doesn't have a bar for food quality.
House of Dim Sum
I was craving for dim sums and thought Chinese people can do them really good. Unfortunately they didn’t taste good at all. Very disappointing. Soy sauce doesn’t taste salty as it should be, it tastes like water. Even when you drunk a dim sim in soy sauce. It tastes like almost nothing. Cannot understand why there is a line. But at least the portion was big. Price good though My portion was around 20$.
Been eating here since pre-teen. The original owners would have this special salted duck rice plate that is unfortunately not available anymore. That was my go to dish everytime I went there. Now the new owners are more focused on dim sum and for tourists. Place is still good, they have tons of things to choose from, their delicious buns, dim sum options, dessert, and much more. I recently came here with some friends and I was filled up. Came right before lunch and everyone was satisfied where we all have enough to take home. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in Chinatown and definitely I will be back!
Panda Express
Ok, now normally when I eat Panda Express everything is fine but this time around… I threw up so badly, I literally got a fever and chills last night from the food lingering in my stomach until I threw up at 2 AM. All I saw was fried rice and chicken pieces… it was horrible. I don’t know who did the food this time around but it definitely caused me to have food poisoning…🤒
The food tasted a little off from their usual recipe to me, but the service was nice and quick. The employees were able to attend to our party of 7 rather quickly, which was great since we were on a tight schedule.
Fu Hing
Ordered delivery through their website*. The photos posted of their food are extremely misleading. I only ordered (2) chicken fried rice and that was enough. The rice didn’t taste fried - it tastes like sticky rice. It had zero flavor/spices. And the chicken? It was grey. I wish I had taken photos, but I was so bothered that I just tossed it. Do not recommend.
I have been ordering from this place for years and now their food quality has gone down severely in the past year and I've just had enough. Their fried rice now has no vegetables or anything, just the meat you asked for. Literally just rice and pork, the crab rangoons are just cream cheese w/ no seasoning, crab, or little bits of onions. They use to have bigger shrimp in the rice, now its just small little shrimp and not much at all and every chicken dish w/ sauce is literally just general gao chicken sauce on it. The dragon & pheonix plate tastes exactly like their general gaos chicken, I once asked for orange chicken and they just gave me general gaos chicken with orange peels in it lol, every plate w/ a sauce on it that isnt white sauce is literally just general gao chicken sauce, It all tastes the same. It's a shame what this place has come to. This used to be my favorite chinese food spot due to the quality of food before but they've just raised up the prices more and more and given you less quality and quantity. I'm done supporting this place, I can't support something like this anymore. I suggest you spend your money somewhere else.
Grand China Restaurant
Very friendly staff. I get the Hunan Chicken w/ only chicken and mushrooms, it was good! Also got the Rangoon, decent amount of filling, could be more. But over all, food was hot and accurate.
Tried once and I'll try again but I've never had RED sauce on my General Tsao chicken and it wasn't that good. People are nice but in this day and time... Places should be more cleanly and updated! Maybe another dish would be better for me it'll be a while though
台山风味Taishan Restaurant(第二分店)
Came on Sunday at 3pm with a group of 11. They were kind enough to give us the back room, which is typically reserved in advance for huge parties (and was booked for 5pm), and it has automatic mahjong tables and a huge karaoke setup. We got the eel claypot rice, hot boiling oil fish, and a few other dishes. Always a classic, no matter which location you go to. Chinatown staple!
Its frozen food you can taste it an see because the dumplings are in aluminum foil the peking duck tasts bad and like its out of the freezer the chicken dident have much flavor i would avoid this place and the taste of the soya sauce was strange
Peninsula Seafood Restaurant
Delicious Dim Sum in Town. The price was affordable & the portion was quite big. The service was fast and the waitresses were friendly. We ordered several dimsums such as shrimp dumpling, tofu, and shrimp w/ chive ball. Every menu taste good. U could ask for the chili oil, and there was sriracha taste. Plenty tables for u to seat and the resto was clean.
Wandering thru Chinatown town I was dream in by the delightful smells and feeling hungry. The dim sum options were easy to navigate in multiple languages (including English) and everything I ate I enjoyed! The Peking duck in particular was a stand out!
Golden Taste
Probably the worst general tso chicken I’ve ever had. It was so hard to chew that at one point my son had to spit it out, and the sauce was not spicy at all. It was more like a sweet tang borderline gross. The sweet and sour chicken was oily and the fried rice was sunshine yellow with no flavor. I’m giving it two stars because the wonton soup was really good.
It is beyond me how this place has an over 4 star rating. The “fried rice” was just yellow rice, tons of onions and bean sprouts. General Tso’s was so tough it was hard to chew. Cheese wonton tasted good but a little drop of cheese in a big fried dumpling. The search continues.
