Japanica ジャパニカ | Sushi & Hibachi
Good food, service & prices. Great menu. Will be trying Hibachi next time for sure. Appreciated the celebration singing for the birthday we were celebrating!!!
The food and service were pretty good. Had a 6:30 reservation and took our seats at 7:15.. There were little to any interactions, singing, clanging silverware, etc, by the cooks. I'm not sure if this is something of the past, but this is one of the reasons folks visit hibachi style restaurants. Overall, ok experience could be better.
Lychee Garden 荔枝花園 | Chinese & American Restaurant
We selected Lychee Garden because we were specifically looking for a Chinese buffet. Everything I found online stilled shows they have a buffet, as does their sign out front. Completely disappointed to find out they have permanently stopped the buffet. And this is why only 4 stars. Take the sign down and make it clear on your website that you no longer have a buffet. We almost left, but Mom already ordered a beer so we stayed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a nice fireplace. We were nicely spaced throughout the dining room for privacy. Our server Tracy was very friendly, spot on with water refills, and making sure each dish came out as it was finished. When the last appetizer hit the table, she even asked if we wanted our entres started right away or to wait awhile. Since we weren't going to eat it all anyway, we had her start them right away. It was Mom's turn to pay and she went hog wild on the appetizers. We had Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls, Crab Rangoons, and BBQ Ribs. All were very delicious and the egg rolls were gigantic. Like small burritos. For dinner, Mom had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, and I had the Pork Egg Foo Young. MASSIVE servings and so delicious. Two days worth of lunches from the left over apps and entrees.
I just moved up here from Fort Lauderdale Florida and the Chinese food there was amazing. This rivals it for sure! The egg rolls are the best! I had sesame chicken and it was delicious. I recommend.
Eat Rice
Eat Rice presents as a no frills take-out Chinese restaurant. The waiting area offers eight folding chairs for customers. There are no posters or photos on the walls. The counter for ordering food is enclosed and has a fortress-feel. Food is delivered to customers through a small door. But this all testifies to an authentic Chinese approach to take-out. So does the couple in the kitchen who speak Chinese to each other. (The restaurant reminds me of small eateries I have enjoyed in Mainland China.) Expect to wait a bit for your meal or order ahead. The food is prepared after its ordered. The prices are reasonable and the menu exhaustive. The food is delicious. We ordered dumplings, sweet & sour pork, and chicken with mixed vegetables. Everything was delicious. 9/21/2024 On this trip to Eat Rice, I see the Covid protections have been removed from around the cash register. The food is still delicious. Give this takeout restaurant a try.
Eat Rice is take out only. Have been going there for some years since they opened. We have never had a disappointing meal from them. Although you can walk in and order, you're best to call ahead with your order since at certain times of day they are very busy.
One + 1 Asian Restaurant
First time trying One +1 and will definitely order again. The egg roll was beyond excellent, the food tasted fresh, and had great flavor. I hope it stays open a long time. They put peas in the rice, but I was easily able to pick them out (I hate peas). My husband loves peas and he thought they definitely added to the rice. I can see One + being in our regular take out rotation. I added some photos of our order. Please excuse the paper plates, I'm waiting for the new dishwasher to be delivered and didn't feel like doing dishes on a Friday night. Update: We have ordered from here several times now. We've never been disappointed. The Mongolian Beef, Egg Foo Young, Thai curries, General Tso's, Pad See Euw, and Thai Tea are absolutely delicious.
I had pork belly with vegetable today and it was very delicious. It reminds me of home food and my home country in Thailand. This place has lot of choices I don’t think I know any Burmese restaurant except this one around here. Recommend this place to give a shot. 12-15-2023 Today I ordered Burmese pork curry and bean curry paratha with a drink of Milo. Here are some pictures.
Red Lobster
It was our very first time coming to this chain and I was very excited to try their food. Overall experience was pretty good! We got seated right away and our waiter was greeting us shortly after. Donovan was a newer worker, but he did great! The food was fresh and warm, and the biscuits were probably one of those best ones I've had in a long time! The second I saw their dragon shrimp appetizer, I knew I had to try it. Its now going to be my go to! If you like sweet and spicy, this appetizer is for you! My crispy flounder was cooked perfectly and so were the brussels sprouts. My boyfriend's salmon/lobster plate was delicious too. It is on the pricey side, but the portions make it worth it. We will definitely return in the future.
On January 18, 2024, at 4:15 PM, I visited this establishment and was disappointed with the service. Despite sitting at the bar for at least 20 minutes, I was not acknowledged. A young man named Lamar, who wasn’t assigned to the bar, noticed me and deserves a raise for his attentiveness. However, a young blonde-haired woman seemed disorganized, and the other staff members appeared to ignore the situation. Lamar eventually took my order and handed it to her, but she simply held onto the receipt. Frustrated, I decided to leave. There was no manager present; instead, they were in a group huddle in the lobby. I cannot recommend this place based on my experience. Update: Unfortunately I don't have FB . Unable to contact and please understand the above is what happen. Are you able to provide email or phone number?
Panda Express
Noodles seemed to be cooked ok but extreme lack of sauce. Shrimp were ok. Had to wait for chopsticks. Food volume seems to be declining. Prices rising. $23. Holy crap. Go to japan and get better food for half to one third the cost!!!
Don’t have any experience with the actual place. I DoorDashed this order. For black pepper chicken, it definitely was not that. Chicken cooked in Teriyaki sauce and French onion soup mix is what it was. Cream cheese rangoons didn’t have anything in them. If this is how all Panda Express are, they will not have any of my business. I do not recommend this swill at all, it’s not good enough for pigs even.
