Pak Grub
Amazing and tasty food was provided by the Pak Grub team. Reminded me of how food use to taste in Pakistan.
Grest service
Diaspora
Food 3.5. Good price for large portions with the boxes. Sashimi was a bit large and harder to eat. Street parking available.
It is the only authentic Korean restaurant around campus. Side dishes are always amazing. Beef Bibimbap tastes authentic with Korean spicy sauce and various vegetables. Ramen tastes great with a half boiled egg and authentic spicy broth, but it tastes like the instant ramen noodles from Asian groceries. Sushi rice is hot, which could be cooled. I like their rices more than noodles. Anyway, the lunch special coming with a Ramen and a set of Sushi cost less than $15.
CoCo's Grill 可可小馆
Coco Grill is a hidden gem for Japanese food lovers. From the first bite, you can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. I ordered the special sushi and ramen, both perfectly prepared. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring my experience was memorable. The atmosphere is peaceful and modern, making it perfect for a relaxing dinner or a night out with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to anyone looking for authentic Japanese cuisine in the city. Don’t forget to check out the photos I uploaded to get a better idea of how amazing everything is!
As a foodie from Sichuan, this place has lots of room for improvement. We ordered different noodles after a long day of travel. They should not use the yellow noodles as they don't taste good with the hot spicy sauce. Another feedback is the Spicy Beef Noodle was way too salty, as the chef should cut down the amount of the salty bean paste in half and add some other spices to enhance the fragrance.
Buckeye Wok Express
The old American Chinese fast food restaurant became this new open one. I ordered their lunch combo with eggplant and spicy tofu. The service was fast and friendly, but the dishes tasted a little sweet and less spicy. I had to say that their Chinese food was not authentic but it could be great for those who like sweet orange chicken.
Food was lovely. Price is justified with the portions. Was not aware of the auto tip till I saw my receipt which I find frustrating. Not against auto tip, but just didn’t feel transparent. Will be back and will recommend again Update: Tried to eat an entire meal in one go and I can confirm that is not realistic.
Wang’s Chinese Kitchen
I placed an Uber eats order since my car is in the shop. My order was cold when I got it even though it was delivered early. I agree with the other statements of not having much flavor. My spring rolls had way too much celery in them which I believe is what caused them to be soggy. They didn’t have any crunch at all and tasted like plain celery. The portion size was good for two orders size large. Work on seasoning and making sure food is hot and fresh. If you make these tweaks you can become a 5 star establishment.
I order from Wangs regularly on DoorDash, and I have never had a complaint. One time I received the wrong order, but only because the dasher gave me the wrong one. Even though the options were wrong. It was still good. Recently I stopped by in person to pick up an online order. The staff was very friendly, and even though I was early for the pickup time, the manager apologized multiple times that they were not making the food fast enough. When I asked to buy an extra crab Rangoon, he tossed it in for free for the wait (again, they were not actually running behind!). Overall, the staff is very friendly, the portions are good, and the food is always tasty. I am happy to call them my favorite Chinese carry out!
Meshikou Ramen
Really good ramen and appetizers. We went on a Friday night and it was super busy, the wait was 30 mind but once we sat down we got our food super quick. Usually I’m iffy about ramen because I have a texture when it comes to the chashu pork, but I did not have a problem with the food here.
The food and drinks were really good. The fried chicken and Gyoza was definitely worth the wait to get seated.
Genghis Grill
Their supreme fried rice bowl was fire! Full of flavor and it’s enough to feed two people depending on how much you eat. I will definitely be adding this spot to my weekly lunch rotation. Keep up the good work!
Fourth time here. It's nice, especially when Paul, the man who makes my meal, remembered me so quickly after just 2 times. Good food and not hard on my budget. Love that low-sodium soy sauce is available. Nothing fancy; just good grub at reasonable prices. Update 2/4/2025: Food is great, quick and convenient. Employees are polite. Healthy options. BOGO deals often. All good.
Pho Asian Noodle House & Grill
Best pho around! I just moved here and had been looking for s great spot for pho as it's hard to find somewhere where you get what you're looking for. This. Is. The. Spot. Guy at the front is always nice and food is always fresh. I get the 45 which is the combo pho and it's packed with all the meats. Def making this my weekly go to now! Thanks yall!!!
I have been here many times and tried a few dishes. Their service is always astoundingly fast and the size is good. Recommended their tomato egg beef rice and pho. Tomato egg beef is my favorite. Tomato and egg perfectly match the rice with a great sense of sweetness. The meat in pho tastes a little tough, but noodle soup tastes great without too much salt. The roasted duck is tasty. My friend really likes their duck but I feel it does not match up with the rice and vegetables. Fried noodles, tantan noodle, and pad Thai taste mediocre.
Tai's Asian Bistro & Sushi
We had an amazing dining experience at Tai's Restaurant! The Singapore Noodle dish was a standout - loaded with a generous amount of juicy chicken, succulent shrimp, and perfectly cooked egg. But the real showstopper was the Shrimp Salt and Pepper. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor - it was absolute perfection! The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and the service was top-notch. We can't wait to come back and try more of Tai's delicious offerings!
Okay, this is a hidden gem! The food was authentic and reminded me of Chinese street food. Nothing was oily or over sauces. Everything tasted FRESH and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my order ( I added and subtracted from the original dish). They were very friendly. Funky atmosphere- good vibes. I’m in. Can’t wait to go back and try the Pho.
Peking House Restaurant
Got the General Tsos chicken. Very good! Quick service and it's the most inexpensive I've seen so far for the quality.
Of all the Chinese restaurants in Columbus this is by far my favorite!… I love their house Mei Fun and Singapore noodles. Both are excellent… Today I ordered the house Mei Fun!…. it was excellent as always. Update with another photo… Ordered shrimp, and broccoli… Delicious!
Ethiopia & Somalia Restaurant
We enjoyed ourselves. The parking and area is a little sketchy but they were very accommodating and friendly so it put us as ease. The food was 10/10 the best
Really great food and nice workers. I ordered the lamb and rice and it was super tender and flavorful. The portions are huge, it was enough for two days. Prices were reasonable as well. I only had to wait about 8 minutes for my food which was really quick. Definitely recommend for good food!
Calanley Somali Restaurant
Delicious food!! They seemed surprised we came in to eat, and it was our first time trying Somali food. But they were very accommodating and helped us try a lot of different things! Portions are large and the extras (juice, salad, soup, bananas) were awesome. We got the goat kebabs, beef tips, and chicken kaykay. All were yummy! Will definitely be back!
We ordered 1 goat with anjera, 2 kay kay with chicken, one beef suqaar with anjera (pictured). Price is $68 ($17 per meal average). Thoughts: -I am familiar with injera, according to the web “anjera” is also a fermented flat bread. What I received (pictured below) is a flour tortilla with grill marks. There is no debate about that, it is not any type of house made, fermented bread. -the quantity of the beef is good! It tastes fine. It was very hard and chewy. -everything comes with a white sauce. It is very apparently miracle whip (or “salad dressing”) which has been watered down to a pourable consistency. -they gave us one small cup of lentil soup to share with 4 plates. It was good. -each plate comes with a banana. Summary: tortilla, not anjera $17 a plate Overcooked We really want to like this place. We were excited to get it but it’s super overpriced for what you get and not as advertised. We won’t come back for what we got.
