Chinn Franchising LLC
Our server, Luanne, was absolutely phenomenal! She was thorough and sweet and very knowledgeable of all the menu items!! The crab vermicelli and the stuffed mushrooms were unbelievable!!! The chef did an amazing job preparing my steak perfectly as well. Hands down the BEST place we've been to in a long time.
Our waitress/bartender Brianna was beyond polite and helpful. Made our dining experience much more pleasant. She gets 5 stars.
Silver Chopsticks
Got take out for ten people, orange chicken, beef/mushrooms, wonton soups, garlic pork, shrimp/vegetables, loads of rice, everything was delicious.
Placed an order for carry out. I planned on eating at a park with my fiancé. We picked up our food. No utensils in the bag and no napkins. Went back in to get that. Then realized my order was completely wrong. My fiancé can’t have most vegetables and needed his food cooked without vegetables. We paid EXTRA for no vegetables. All of his food came with vegetables. Had to turn back around to get it fixed. Literally took an HOUR to get all of this sorted. The server who took my order initially was just trying to clock out and was too busy paying attention to the clock to make sure he was typing in my order correctly. Would not recommend. Food was mediocre too at best.
Panda Express
The girl at the front, I believe her name is Jimenaz has a horrible look. The whole time ordering food she gave me such a weird creepy stare that I regretted ordering. I wish they gave me more food also as it was not even a real meal for me. I remember that they use to give out more food than what they do now, and yet the prices are up more and they still give you very little. I would avoid this place for now. This place shouldn’t be that stingy.
3/5 just because lately….the young women that work there don’t seem to care. I went for a pickup and my order wasn’t even ready considering I arrived a little late anyways. One girl had told me I had to wait 5 minutes for the rice….I waited and I wasn’t paying attention but the few time I looked up she kept looking. Turns out it’s because she knowingly didn’t put the white rice in my bowl. If I had to wait longer, she could’ve said so. It was disappointing and ruined my appetite. Other than that, there is many times I’ve ordered here and I have gotten what I asked for. On time or not, the food is always cooked well and package well.
Yu's Mandarin (Wheeling)
If you’re looking for authentic Chinese cuisine in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, Yu’s Mandarin in Wheeling is an excellent choice. The restaurant’s décor is charming, with traditional Chinese elements and elegant touches that create a warm and inviting dining space. The red lanterns and thoughtful wall art add to the cultural ambiance, making it a great spot for family gatherings or special occasions. Highlights of the Meal: 1. Lobster Dish: The lobster, served with aromatic onions and a flavorful sauce, was fresh and perfectly cooked. The meat was tender, succulent, and seasoned to perfection—a luxurious treat that felt worth every bite. 2. Steamed Whole Fish: This classic Chinese delicacy was a standout. The fish was steamed to maintain its natural flavor, topped with a generous amount of julienned green onions and light soy sauce. It was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked—delicate and melt-in-your-mouth. 3. Broccoli with Sea Cucumber and Mushrooms: A unique dish with an earthy and rich sauce that paired beautifully with tender broccoli. The sea cucumber and mushrooms added depth and texture, making this dish both nourishing and satisfying. 4. Dumplings: While not the centerpiece, the dumplings were a comforting addition to the table. Soft, flavorful, and well-seasoned, they rounded out the meal perfectly. Overall Impression: The quality of the food at Yu’s Mandarin is outstanding, with a focus on fresh ingredients and authentic preparation. The service was attentive, ensuring plates were cleared promptly and drinks refilled without interruption. Whether you’re indulging in a special seafood dish or exploring other classic menu items, Yu’s Mandarin delivers an experience that stands out in the Chicagoland area. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving a memorable and delicious Chinese dining experience.
I wish I could liked this Yu restaurant better than the original in Schaumburg. The food here was good but not great. The original ones food always have wok flavor and flavors. However I do like the lunch specials here. Specially the beef chow fun noodles, the Taiwanese beef noodles soup wasn’t flavorful enough and the noodles were mushy.
