China King
I wasn’t greeted when I came through the door. I ordered vegetable eggrolls they were so greasy I couldn’t eat them once I got home and the atmosphere was very cold. I’m very disappointed I’ve dealt with them in the past, and they were very good but this time it really sucked.
I ordered the orange chicken, wonton soup, pork egg roll, and special fried rice. Everything was fresh and hot. Definitely good portions for the price. Customer service was good. A lady at the store, called me when prepping my order, and helped me when I ordered the wrong thing on door dash.
Beijing Chinese Restaurant
Overpriced, delivery driver tried to get over on me, Took a chance ordered lunch from them this afternoon small shrimp lo mein 2 shrimp rolls and bottle coke.. delivery driver came said little to nothing just snatched my 20 away no change or anything and I’m already confused because the order was more than expected I stood in the doorway to see if he was gonna pull off and he did lol called the store lady who took my order called him and he returned my receipt and I had to tell him there was supposed to be change and he says oh you want change? Wtf lol the shrimp rolls were disgusting had a dirty taste to them.. the lo mein i don’t know yet.. bad experience..
I ain’t gon hold you it’s one of the worst Chinese food spots I’ve ever had in life. Everything is bland and tasteless! The orange chicken is full of dough, no chicken is inside. They give you a lot of peppers and onions but no beef. The spring rolls were nasty. A complete waste of $50
Panda Express
My 1st time ordering online & glad I chose this location. Order was ready ahead of designated time, although one order was missing rice, but all good. Eric was an excellent employee, definitely going above & beyond. The decor & feel of the restaurant was welcoming. Also it was close to closing time but the staff didn't make me feel like that. Great experience, will be back 👍🏽
Ignore their posted closing hours. On Google it says 10pm, but their store says 9:30. And if you go after 8, you’re going to get a lousy experience (more than half the entrees and appetizers are gone and cook-to-order only, and they’re well into their cleanup process: floor mats rolled up and put on trash cans, no silverware in their dispensers, soft drink machine completely shut off, no teas or other drinks in their dispensers). Even with a steady stream of customers at 8:30, most of whom end up asking “are you closing?”. I understand doing a little cleaning ahead of time, but this was a little extreme.
Super China Buffet
I really feel this buffet has been given a bad wrap in previous reviews. I walked in at noon, they opened at 11 am, and the cashier took my money. I went to get my beverage and it also had ice available. Buffet was full, all food was very hot, and tasty. As it may not be as big as other buffets, it had a great selection for its size. Buffet was $11.99 and if you get a drink, it’s $2.49 and then tax on top of it all. It was a great value for the tasty food they had and next time I’m in the area, I will visit them again. Everything is self-serve, and I did not feel that deserved less than 5-Stars. It helps them keep the buffet cost down and you don’t have to worry about tipping anyone. Atmosphere is a 4 star as I feel they could’ve had some nice music playing and a little more decoration, but that was not factored much into the entire experience. Great job Super China Buffet! I will be back!
Food was great! It was always in rotation to ensure it was fresh and hot. The staff was great and very attentive. Will definitely visit again!
Happy Garden
Ordered the Pork Egg Foo Young and Pork Lo Mein. I found a piece of egg shell and the gravy, I don't care too much for but overall the food was pretty good.
enjoy Happy Garden one of those storefront restaurants with pictures of menu items on the wall. Since Covid the setupos different, ordering is done through the small 'vestibule' in front. The dining roomis now their office, seen throughthe front widows looks a ess. But that doesn't stop me, the food is great. Try them.
Super China Buffet
Meh. I was hoping for a little more than what I got. Everything was fully stocked and seemed fresh. General tso was crispy but watery. Definitely not a gravy and more like a sauce/soup combo. Everything I tried wasn't what you'd normally expect out of a Chinese buffet. I included photos of the bathroom which was SOOOO nasty I couldn't use it and felt like I'd get E.Coli just standing in there. The disabled toilet had a sewage backup or something and the pipe was filled with something I wasn't going to stay and look at. Of all places for an accident to happen that's the worst. I'll pass next time.
One of my 2 go-to's whenever I'm in the area. Owners and employees are super friendly Nad nice.
Panda Express
Waited 27 min for my to go order . The girl manager in black could have cared less . Was just texting and gabbing away . She was making peoples food in line while there's 7 people waiting for her to start boxing to go food . I finally spoke up after seeing 10 people get their food eat and leave ! Had to hold her hand to make 2 plates and an egg roll . Soooo upset .
Some Panda Express has employees that are all 3rd-stringers. This one is top shelf. The manager runs a right ship. Most of these are ALWAYS out of SuperGreens, but for this location that is rare. Great job!
Great Wall
Amazing food!! Better than Panda Express!! The food is so good! Brought my mom and grandma, they both loved the food. We even got crab Rangoon on the house. They are so welcoming and kind. You have to try this place!!
We tried the sweet and sour chicken, General Tso’s chicken, fried dumplings, and were even treated to crab Rangoon on the house! Everything was hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The portions are huge, the quality is amazing, and the prices can’t be beat. We’re hooked—this is officially our go-to for Chinese food!
China King
Today was my first time ever ordering from China King. You can only order carry out, but I wanted to eat it at home anyway, so that was fine. The place is small, but it's clean and organized, and doesn't need to be big for carry out orders anyway. The lady that took my order was very nice. I got alot of food for a decent price. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It came in a fairly good sized container that was filled to the top with alot of chicken and fried rice. It also came with a large container of sweet and sour sauce and a fortune cookie, all for a total of $7.52. It was very delicious and I will be going there again when I'm hungry for Asian food. Also, I love that their lunch hours are from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. Thank you.
Definitely had better Chinese than this. Pork egg roll had no noticeable meat and cabbage tasted old. Have had better egg rolls from frozen food section of grocery store. Chicken lo mein was a similar story. Think places downtown would pride themselves in their food but I guess they just rely on having a good location instead of good food. Tossing this and getting rice king on my way home.
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
As good as this beef lo Mein looks, it is far from it. It was drenched in oil; I could barely stomach it. The beef was slimy and thin. I was disappointed; I also ordered a pork roll and was underwhelmed. The food was too hot to eat; that oil does something to you. The pork roll had no flavor, just bland. I will never spend my money here again 😓 Napkins trying to get some grease off but no luck after 6 napkins. I gave up and a stomach still empty.
The chicken was soggy and disgusting there were no broccoli pieces the only thing I ate was the rice do not go here
Egg Roll King on Madison Ave.
Ordered shrimp fried rice and wings. And what i paid for i wouldn’t have gave my dog. The shrimp was breaded who breads shrimp fried rice and they was over cooked and rubbery, the rice was mush and the fried wings was dry and wasn’t breaded or crispy. This was by far the worst Chinese food i ever had and would not recommend. The egg rolls they are known for aren’t good either. DONT GO HERE EXPECTING GOOD FOOD!!!!’
Folks were very nice and good came out fast. Good was pretty blah overall unfortunately. Crab Rangoon were very cream cheesey without much other flavor. Egg rolls looked amazing but flavor was pretty bland. Pot stickers were also a bit bland and looked like they’d been sitting around for quite a while (shriveled up). The generals chicken was probably the worst part. It was very different than any generals chicken I’ve ever had. The sauce was very different and I almost thought I got the wrong order but it was correct. Just overall fine. Nothing special.
China King
I’ve been going regularly for a couple years and the owners are always the nicest! Food is always fresh and super hot, dining in definitely makes it taste sooo much better BUT it is a 10/10 no matter how you look at it! Excellent business to support
Great service, even at peak dinner rush. Great serving portions even for the small size, very cheap, and the lady gave us some free almond cookies (so good). Always great food from there!
