Came one time last week during lunch but it was close to being dinner time so I said that may have been the reason. Decided to come back again today at 11 when they opened hoping for a better result. None of the food was fresh and all of the chicken and food that had juice was just sitting in juice getting soggy. Sesame chicken isn’t supposed to be that soft. Very disappointed and annoyed that I gave them another chance. Just ruined my entire lunch. Pricing and customer service is good but I’ll rather pay more money for better food quality.

The prices are pretty cheap for the buffet but ultimately you get what you pay for. The drinks where pretty watered down as well. After eating here me and my wife felt pretty unwell for a day or two but we had also eaten something else so we are not entirely sure if this place got us sick or if it was something else.

Ordered a plate of general tsos chicken and lo mein noodles. The chicken was ok, the noodles were disgusting and probably from the day before. So I eat the chicken and go back up to get something else to replace the pile of lo mein. I ask for fried rice instead and this is all they gave me, taste of these was mediocre but at least edible unlike the noodles. While I was up there getting replacement food the changed the tray with noodles out and poured the nasty noodles from the old warming tray right into the fresh noodles.

VERY RUDE! Instead of greeting a customer with a smile and "how may I help you?", the first response is "What you want?". Nothing!!!! I wouldn't give this business my life if it depended on it. Spend your money elsewhere folks !!!!!

I normally do not write reviews but this time it's important to share how terrible fried chicken orders we received from Great wall Chinese restaurant. I normally order curry chicken which is normally okay and enjoyed. As you can see in the picture the chicken wings is dried, staled and taste rubbery. I spend $7.25 for something my daughter couldn't eat but hat to be discarded. I am suggesting for the restaurant to be mindful of providing food like this...because the purpose of ordering food is to actually eat it not to discard.

If I could give a negative 1 I would let’s start with whoever answered the phone Rude !! It took over an hour to get the food and the wings must’ve been in the fryer the whole time 😒 shrimp fried rice dry and tastes burnt ! Please they even left a napkin in the bottom of the wing bag (see in picture ) they’re so burnt there’s no grease to soak up !!! Hope you didn’t use it for your hands then put it in the food smdh who knows at this point look what you serve who knows what you might do 🙄 stop selling trash food it’s not a good look you’ve been here too long you know better you need ran out of town ! Check out the sauce I got for 10 cheese wontons smdh

The staff was polite and the food tasted great. The buffet is not currently open so that's something to keep in mind if you are in a hurry but the food really doesn't take long at all to come out.

We’d originally went to Louisa for Chinese, they’re closed on Tuesday, so we come here, big mistake. The food wasn’t good, nowhere near how good Louisa’s Chinese food is, don’t have a hot bar, so that was fun trying to order noodles & rice for 3 kids.. still didn’t get the order right, 🙄 But I kept my mouth shut, the lady wasn’t the friendliest, we toughed it out, they had paper plates & plastic forked for you to eat on & with. No I have no issue with either one, but I thought it made the “business” look bad not even having regular plates, there was absolutely no one else in there eating but us, & only 2 people got take out while we were there. I’m shocked they’re even open still. If they’d reopen the hot bar, get better food, & maybe some regular plates they’d have more business. We won’t go back!

I have dined here many times and loved the food. This time they didn't seem to have as many dishes out as they used to. The food was still good though. I'll stop by when I come back to visit for sure.

Absolutely angelic food! The staff are very kind individuals and my family and I love to go there when we need something good to eat. The music they play is really fun and relaxing as well. Just thinking about this place makes me super hungry. 10/10 would recommend anyone who loves Chinese food to come here!

Nor sure what is with them the last few months. Beef and broccoli with 10 large pieces of broccoli piled on top of 6 pieces of beef the size of a postage stamp!@#$%^&* . New dish Firecracker steak n shrimp that had only 2 pieces of shrimp. Bejing beef was pretty good and the Orange chicken is always good.

Great Place. Someone give Patrick a raise, he was extremely polite and accomodating. When I got there they were out of teriyaki chicken, and crab rangoon. They told me about a 10 min wait (no problem), but then they got flooded with a line. Patrick took it upon himself to walk the food that was ready over to us, and then walk the chicken over when it was ready. 10/10 experience and a very pleasant time even when you have to wait and it's busy.

A long time staple of Morgantown! Can’t beat the combination platters for lunch. They are good, filling and more than reasonably priced! Even comes with a soup. Plenty of good options to choose from at dinner time as well. All while providing a nice atmosphere

Peking House is such a mixed bag. As a Morgantown native, I’ve eaten their food since I’ve been a kid, and their decline has become MUCH more notable within these past few years. For starters, the food in-house versus takeout is completely different. I understand there will be some differences here and there, but the food eaten in-house feels leagues more fresh than to-go. Tonight I ordered the General Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice, and the white rice (which I had asked them to not include despite coming with the General Chicken), was cold and hard. The type of rice you’d expect that would be left out for hours. The breading on the Chicken was falling apart, and it was more onions and peppers than chicken. The Fried Rice was fine, although it just tastes like the white rice with some veggies and soy sauce tossed in. The service was abhorrent. The service was never something good in the first place (I recall multiple times were the hostess just seemed irritated to even be there), but this time especially was the worst. When I called to place my order, I was immediately met with, “What do you want?”, as if I did something wrong by calling them. No greeting, no polite tone, no nothing. To add insult to injury, the guy scolded me for asking for no white rice, and quite literally hung up at the very end, not giving me a time or anything. I’m almost certain the only reason why his attitude changed when I arrived was because he knew my grandparents extremely well and likely recognized me, but I’ve never gotten worse to-go service ever. It almost seems like they’re somewhat proud of this service though, as there’s a sign featured right before the kitchen that says something to the affect of, “we’re known for warm beer, poor service,” and some third thing I can’t remember. It also doesn’t help that instead of the tv at the bar displaying anything even remotely appropriate for a Chinese restaurant (let alone a restaurant at all), it’s Fox News. The only upsides here are the prices. I don’t think they’re horrible, but considering the quality and service, you get what you pay for. It’s such a mixed bag, but I couldn’t recommend them over some of the other Chinese businesses in town.

Solid experience at this location, the food is priced pretty good considering the portions. General Tso's Chicken had a lot of sauce and good flavor. Easy pickup process and friendly service. Would order from again in the future

This unpretentious strip mall location serves up some of the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. My chicken and broccoli was prepared to order and cooked to perfection in just a few minutes. The sauce is just the right texture and tastes like real Chinese food. No fake paper lanterns or recordings of movie themes played on the erhu, just a really good lunch, served with a smile.

Don't....eat....here. I'm surprised they are even open. I went there the other day, got a plate of food. Everything was chewy or slimy, definitely not to temp (sushi and raw shrimp was warm, everything that was supposed to be hot were luke warm at best, egg rolls were even soggy). I didn't eat much after seeing/tasting what was going on. Told them I was leaving, didn't care too much for it and went to leave. They still made me pay. Two people had half a soda each, not even half plate of food between us was eaten. I love Asian buffets but this isn't it. Food - 0 Customer service - 0 Cleanliness - 0 If u eat here. That's on you.

First time coming here. Was a nice experience. Lot's of very well made tasted home-cooked-small batches food. Vide variety something for everyone. Definitely a low-key chill Vibe. Family friendly lots of parking convenient location right off the freeway easy to find really clean restrooms easily accessible for handicap and lots of options for people with dietary restrictions

My kiddos and I got some scrumptious food. Kiddos love the food here. When I'm having a down day, my husband lets me order delivery as a pick-me-up. So this food makes me happy when I am sad.

The food was very good. Everything I ordered was fresh and heated. This place makes food as it’s ordered! Had C15 Beef with mushrooms ($8.95).Great portion. The sauce had a great taste. Didn’t overpower any of the other ingredients. Mushrooms where so juicy and beef like texture that I couldn’t tell the difference between the beef and a mushroom! Pork fried rice didn’t have a whole bunch of vegetables (I prefer it that way). Very well seasoned and it actually had bits of pork and onion cooked in with the rice. Very good and awesome flavor. Egg roll was included and very warm. I ordered the fried crispy wonton (8 @ $4.75). Came with orange sauce. Great as well. Hot and Sour soup ($2.75 pint). Very good flavor. Just wish it had ginger shoots and more egg drop. Spicy notes and tofu was on point. The entire meal was filling and enjoyed. This was my first time ordering from here. I had the order delivered ($3.00). Driver called me before his arrival and arrived promptly. I will keep this place in mind if I have time to stop for a great meal. I was not compensated in any way for my review.

I have no idea how this place has 4.5 stars. The meat tasted frozen, old, and was super fatty. I ordered myself general tso's chicken with fried rice and I couldn't even eat much it was so bad. Ordered my husband peppered steak with beef lo mein and he got sick from it. The steamed dumplings and egg rolls were okay but nothing great.

Absolutely no heat in the restaurant. I asked and was told they don't believe in having heat. No gloves or hair nets. The restaurant was completely filthy. The appearance and smell was not good. The shrimp toast was very old and disgusting. I will never eat here again. I recommend Asian Garden in Martinsburg. A 1000× better than New China.

Pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in Kingwood, W. VA. We stay here often and hardly anything is open on Sunday. The food was great and they have a good selection. Will come again!

I haven't been here in a very long time I thought I would give them another chance. We'll they still really suck bad. The buffet food was awful. No taste, old and mushy. Dead flies on the window sill.
