Empire Restaurant
I really like that they give you platter options because I love to order general tso's chicken with my chicken fried rice and broccoli 🥦 I recommend their platter choices are really good. The service could be alot better. They do rush you on the phone and are not friendly. They don't smile or say "thank you," "you're welcome" or "have a good day" but they just have good food.
I don't usually right reviews based on one bad experience, but this was egregious. I ordered beef chow mein, expecting fried noodles, but this slimy bowl of bland boiled beef and vegetables is apparently what passes for chow mein at this place. No, they didn't send me the wrong order, this is actually what they claim chow mein is, contrary to what it is anywhere else.
New China Chinese Restaurant
Stopped for a snow day meal. We ordered sesame chicken with white rice and sweet and sour chicken with veggie fried rice, and use a coupon to get free egg rolls Both chicken meals had soggy breading, and the sweet and sour tasted like soap. There were maybe 5 sesame seeds. The white rice was old, and cold. Vegetable rice was decent. Egg rolls okay. Our meal wasn't worth the $35 spent.
I would rather have Panda Express than eat here again. Be careful on what you order because the orange chicken was still a bit raw and very chewy. The kunpao had no flavor just a bunch of sauce that taste like it was watered down. The white rice was hard to eat. The only good thing they had was the egg rolls .
Pei Wei Asian Express
The lady at the counter was rushing me the whole time and kept charging extra for everything. I didn’t ask for extra shrimp I only asked if it was an extra charge and she went ahead and put it on the plate and charged me, normally I love Pei Wei but this location was horrible , the noodles were bland and so was everything else. They will rush you and steal your money at the end. Not happy at all.
The food is great. I like the 3 pick dinner. The orange chicken, Firecraker Chicken and Mongolian steak is really good. They give you a lot of food and have plenty of left overs!!
