We recently moved back to Hampton Roads and have been looking for a good Chinese spot. We have found it in Wong Kwok! The staff are so sweet and cheerful, the food comes out very timely and the food is phenomenal; honestly, one of the best egg rolls I've ever tasted! The hot n sour soup hit the spot and the Moo Goo Gai Pain is delicious! We will definitely be back for more!

Messed up my order and then told me I told her the wrong thing yet made sure to charge me the equivalent of what I originally ordered. Very upset with the quality of customer service and I will never order from this place again I would rather cook at home.

Food was nasty, save yourself money and don’t come here unless you want to be disappointed.

We ordered food and it was completely terrible. The general tso's chicken and the pepper chicken we're both disgusting and tasting like molasses. If you want your money's worth do not eat here.

After a absolutely horrific experience with Taco Bell in Portsmouth, I can say Silver Palace has went above and beyond on this experience. Food is delicious, on time,hot and the taste is spot on. It may be two different food choices, but I can assure you Taco Bell will no longer get my Friday orders of $40-$50. From now on Silver Palace will have my business.

The food is decent, but the service wassrude. I wish I could say this was the first time they were rude, but this happened another time when we visited previously. The lady I was working with was asking questions such as, am I going to eat all of the food myself, asking personal questions about my relationship, and in general being very rude. I felt very uncomfortable having had myself and my girlfriend insulted, and I hope that the staff will have more sensitivity in the future.

I saw they had curry on the menu so I went for it and what I got was not curry in the slightest. You see red curry is a spicy thick and creamy red sauce usually made from a coconut milk base, served with chicken and rice. What I got was undercooked rubbery chicken slices on top of soggy assorted veggies you'd find in an order of mixed vegetables. I thought it was a mistake because... well.. it wasn't red curry! So I called and they assured me that chicken slices and vegatables with hot sauce IS red curry lmao The first pic how it usually looks The second is what I got....

The only Chinese food I’ll eat around here. It’s always hot delicious & like someone else mentioned they always get the order right. Reminds me of the Chinese food we got growing up in NY.

I only get delivery so I don't know atmosphere. I asked about something different and now I have a new favorites. I add some extra peanut and I love this fresh light but filling dish. It got me through a gastric surgery and it's a comfort food and the soups are divine.

The food tastes amazing and they actually deliver unlike other Chinese restaurants in Newport county extremely nice and food was delivered quickly and broccoli was cooked very well.

This is honestly one of the best fusion spots around. Their food is flavorful, substantial, and there are so many different delicious flavors. The food is filling and delicious, the drinks are the perfect balance of flavor and kick. The bartender is out of this world and makes the best Mai Tai this side of Boston. When you say "let's go out for Chinese food" you should go to Eight Square.

Their drinks were fantastic—perfectly crafted and not watered down like at so many other places. The dumplings were also phenomenal; the authentic texture of the dough added to their amazing taste. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again.

Thought I liked their food but the general tso was mushy (too bready maybe?) and not cooked well. The taste itself was good and lomein was good. But overall, very disappointing because of the way it was cooked... Then, I witnessed the man cooking some beef or steak of some sort by scooping it with a scooper and then placing the scopper (covered in raw juices and meat) on top of PRECOOKED fried chicken wings. This is very unsanitary and cross contamination and the chicken is not made to order. Won't be returning as of now.

I’ve been going here since they opened their new location. The food taste and quality was amazing. I don’t know if they have new cooks or changed the quality of the food they purchase, but for the last few months the food has been horrible. I think they need to go back to where they started.

Very yummy. Second time here. Crab rangoons are delicious. Chicken wings were huge. House rice was moist and plentiful. The Shrimp with lobster sauce was a lil salty but yummy tender shrimp and the bone in ribs had a great flavor but a weee over cooked. Definitely going back. The service was awesome.

Decent food but not very accommodating for gluten free. Wasn’t very busy but server was not very attentive. She didn’t understand the menu and was difficult to understand so another staff member helped explain the options. Food portions were generous for lunch items we ordered. Prices were reasonable! Bathrooms are clean and my fortune came true…I was hungry after 1hour 😆 not exactly what you want when going out for lunch.

It was good!!! Good portions and great flavor!! I did ask for extra ducksauce and she snuck those mustard packets in the bag really fast like it was duck sauce lol... Smooth.. My doughnuts could have been better but I wasn't expecting the actual food to be that good. So they get a pass lol...

We always have a great experience with good food, always satisfied, and the customer service is always a plus in my book.

Food was undercooked and bland. Was disappointed because they have a higher rating. My first and last time. Smh. We got two orders of wings and fried rice and lumpia and that costed us 30 dollars so not only was the food not so good, it was also on the higher end but we guess that had to do with the delivery fees. Hairs on the wings also.

I love their food and it’s really great here, haven’t tried a lot of the food but I already know it’s good and there is great customer service

Aways friendly, ontime and delicious….been ordering for years and we are still ordering weekly… our only problem was no duck sauce once…..for amount of food and delicious ….the best value for chinese food in town…my favorite is pepper steak or egg foo young …have ordered many meals for whole family n never had problem with quality of the food

Ordered via Doordash. Very impressed with the care they took in packaging, and the attention to detail on special requests, which can easily be overlooked. The food came fast, hot, and absolutely delicious! Good Job Guys!!

The staff was excellent and the owner was really cool! The egg rolls were amazing and I highly recommend this restaurant because of the quality of the food and the generosity of the staff! Happy new year!!!!!
