Panda Express

I stopped by Panda Express in Tustin around 9 PM and I have to say this location sets the bar high! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and the service was top-notch. One of the staff members, Luis, truly stood out. He wasn’t just friendly, he was incredibly considerate, especially when it came to food portions. It’s a small gesture but it speaks volumes about the care and attention they put into their service. It’s experiences like this that make me want to keep coming back! Every location should follow this example of excellent customer service..

WORST Service EVER. Asked for Shrimp n steak n the bowl was all shrimp n Veggie one 1 piece of steak. Girl tells me she can only give me 3 Shrimp REALLY Only 3 Shrimp 🍤 why is she Not Taking that Big Spoon n Scooping up as much as she can like they do with every other item ??? Would she do that with the other Shrimp dishes ? 🤔 NO. See all the Chicken I got I should get Just As Much Shrimp. See my Teriyaki Chicken No Teriyaki Sauce None. Why ? Tried this place today. So excited for their menu. I went in originally for chow mein. I'm placing order as I review the menu and find the family meal options in the back. The option for three had everything my kiddos like. Order was completed quickly for a sit down restaurant. You can also call ahead and place order. Food was tasty. The orange chicken is so delicious. My usual complaint is that it's mostly breading, this one is perfect! Parking is not an issue. We ordered to go and our order was right and they gave us all the necessary items.

The best Chinese food I've ever had in my now twenty six years of rambling on this rock. The orange chicken was fried to utter perfection with the sauce not being to sweet nor salty. The lack of breeding was wonderful for the crispy nature was from a perfect frying. To great surprise not oily at all. Quy was my server and was a great man to talk to and very kind and insightful as to what to eat and how it was made. Price was nominal for the market rate. The wontons where wonderful semi sweet without the sauce and dessert like with it. Panda Express, eat your heart out.

China Wok

I didn't want to write a review because I don't want anyone else to know about this place, but It was too good not to. Rangoon actually has crab in it! Scallions in fried rice, sauces were light and much different from what I'm used to which is refreshing. They were quite busy tonight so the food took a bit longer than anticipated, but totally worth it. I'll be back!! Shh don't tell anyone!

I tried this place for the first time and I enjoyed it. My family appreciated the freshness. Dumplings were so good and you can tell they make them by hand. Had the General Tso Beef and I loved it. Good spice and flavor. Highly recommend this place!

Taco Town

The woman at the front is SO nice and helpful. The food is always flavorful and it’s affordable. I couldn’t keep this gem to myself! If I could get 5 stars 5 times I would! They also have great in store specials on Mondays for customers!

I stopped in with Debbie for some tacos, basic menu: tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, Nachos, side orders, no tostada's - which momentarily flustered me. I had a Ground Beef and a Carnitas Taco, both packed, great portion of lettuce and cheese. Very good Hot Sauce and Mild sauce. I was pleased and my Mexican Rice was Outstanding. I wish they has a bigger menu, hopefully that will happen soon. I also don't like their order at the counter and get food when name is called, but I guess that's the sign of the times with some employee shortages. Again, overall, I think you should try it, owned by a nice family.

Shanghai Gourmet

36reviews

First time trying Shanghai Gourmet. Food was tasty but more importantly healthy and fresh, not salty or greasy. We tried the chicken fried rice; vegetable fried rice (it does have egg in it unless specified to exclude); fried dumplings (meat); fried vegetable dumplings; and general tso's chicken (mild spiciness). A little pricey but worth it. Will order from here again for sure! Definitely recommend👍

Food is excellent and has never let us down so far. All of the dishes we tried so far have been lip smacking. It's one of our go places while in the Milford/ Orange area.

Hokkaido Ramen

346reviews

Hokkaido is my wife’s and my go-to spot for a quick ramen fix. While it might not fully compare to the ramen we’ve tried in Asia, it still hits the spot every time. We dine here regularly and savor every sip and bite of the flavorful seafood ramen and my wife’s rich, shoyu ramen. The place is run by a wonderfully warm and friendly family, which adds a personal touch to every visit. The atmosphere has a cozy, homey vibe, like enjoying a bowl of soup made with love. Whether we’re looking for comfort food or just a satisfying meal, Hokkaido never disappoints!

Stopped in for a bite on our way north. Food was excellent, service was good, restaurant was clean. They brought my food out first (bulgogi) and we had to wait about 5 minutes for the ramen to be served. Luckily mine was served on a cast iron plate which kept everything hot but I would have preferred everything come out together.

Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar

1377reviews

Hook & Reel never fails to satisfy our seafood boil cravings. We used to visit twice a month because the food is consistently fresh and delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. The atmosphere is always lively and welcoming, making it a great spot for family dinners or casual outings with friends. Their seafood is cooked to perfection, and the flavors are truly unbeatable. The Hook & Reel special sauce is the star of the show—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice and tang, it elevates every bite. Even though it’s harder to dine out as often these days, Hook & Reel remains one of our go-to spots whenever we’re craving an indulgent and satisfying seafood feast!

This most recent trip was the worst experience I have had at this restaurant. Tremaine was our server and he was friendly in the beginning, but that wore off soon after. I ordered one pound of king crab legs and a half pound of scallops. I received the photo attached. I had asked the chef/food busser if the crab legs were king crab legs and he had confirmed they were. I asked Tremaine if they were king crab legs and also if it was a pound of crab legs and was told a few different things such as they were pre portioned, legs can be different sizes, legs had to be broken in order to fit in the pot, etc. The 4 legs were received in pieces and not a cluster like I have received in the past. They were also very small and pre cracked. The meat was very stringy and tasted frozen. I have ordered king crab from here before and the meat was always very sweet, supple, and fresh. I felt like I received scraps from the bottom of the freezer. I paid market price of $59 for a pound of king crab legs. I was being watched as I was paying on the tablet. I did not tip on my card, and Tremaine gave us a very rude glare once I completed payment. He did not say anything to us or acknowledge us on the way out of the restaurant. I am so disappointed in this restaurant and how the quality has gone down. We will not be returning in the near future.

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot

1837reviews

Our first time here celebrating the night before a college pal's wedding. We were a huge group who occupied the buffet area on a packed Friday night. Once other customers tables were done, we sat down and staff was efficient as the night went on. We were at a table with six other people who have never tried Korean Hot Pot. It was cool to explain what to do and had a fun experience throughout the night

The service was fantastic. This was my very 1st time here with my girlfriend and I cannot be more happy. Our waitress/server Michelle explained the options clearly and professionally. She also kept up with all of our wants and concerns leading to an exquisite dining experience.

Noodle House

352reviews

Food was awesome.. one think I really like their menu is HALAL. Yes I will go back again By looking at my pictures you tell food was great 😀😀😀

After a long while, we recently visited this place again and overall had a pleasant dining experience. The appetizers were a highlight, being both flavorful and beautifully presented. The noodle salad, in particular, stood out for its creativity and deliciousness. However, the bubble tea was a bit disappointing; it tasted bland, and the bubbles were soggy. As for the ramen, it was nice but not as impressive as it used to be. It seems like there's been some deterioration over the past few years, leading to a slightly less flavorful and less carefully prepared meal compared to the past. Despite these minor issues, I still rate it 4 stars and will definitely return. A bit more attention to detail and flavor would make this place perfect again!

China Pavilion

309reviews

First, I want to say that I haven't eaten at China Pavilion. I was however having a children's birthday party a couple of doors down. When it came time to cut the birthday cake and serve it to my guests I found that I did not have any forks. Without any other options I canvased the area and noticed that China Pavilion was close. I had to swallow my pride and walk in and ask if there was a way that I could purchase some plastic wear from them for my guests. I suggested even just leaving a tip. The gentleman at the front desk said that was unnecessary and asked me how many I needed. He would not take any money in return. I would say the service in this restaurant is awesome. And I definitely will be going to China Pavilion in the future for a meal. The customer service has to be amazing if they helped me out and I wasn't even a customer.

So many people recommended but Indian people will not like this place because we used to eat indo Chinese and the taste is totally different than the regular Chinese food. Moreover the staff was not friendly we asked few questions but they were not happy to answer the questions. We asked for vegetable tofu and it was really bad, tofu must be soft but it was soooo chewy. So overall Not a good recommended place if you are a vegetarian.

Mai Thai Restaurant - Thai & Ramen & Asian Food & Boba Bubble Tea Drinks

685reviews

I have been seeing this restaurant on my fb and I have been wanting to eat thai food good thing we are near the area this morning so we decided to have lunch here and they didn't disappoint. 😍 While waiting for our order they gave us lemon water. I told my husband that they can just give us a plain water but they decided to put lemon in it. I appreciate that. I love everything that we ordered. No doubt why they are top rated. They are very attentive and polite. And I like the vibe of the place. We will come back next time to try other dishes. 😍

My initial and only visit to Mai Thai Restaurant was pleasant. Service was pretty good. Their menu is pretty extensive in dishes they offer along with their drinks menu. Prices are affordable. Their plating presentation is very appealing to the eye when served-only thing “catchy” to me. Pallet wise for me, it was “classic” as I chose common dishes I’d typically have upon trying a new place for the first time. Nothing stuck out/wowed me in uniqueness taste wise that I’d want to visit often.

Lin’s Kitchen

98reviews

Lin's Kitchen has been, without a doubt, the most authentic Chinese restaurant I've come across during my many years in Connecticut. Whether it's for birthdays, anniversaries, or special holidays, this is always my top choice. The dishes here are truly authentic, far beyond the level of typical takeout places. I genuinely love the food here, and it's the reason I confidently recommend it to friends.

The food was excellent, but the service was disappointingly slow, despite me being the only customer at the time. To make matters worse, the owner declined our 15% tip because it didn’t account for sales tax. It’s worth noting that tipping is traditionally calculated before tax, and it felt inappropriate to be pressured into increasing the tip—especially given the subpar service. I would not recommend this place if good service is a priority for you.
