Biff Buzby's Burgers
Food is always good here! I got brisket egrolls and The Melt and tots and sweet potato fries. Service is fast and today not so friendly š, not rude but no smile.
My first time here and what an AWESOME PLACE!!! I was looking online for a car show/club in San Antonio and saw this Friday Night Car Club so I came over here and I am really glad I am.here! The burger is really good and a good size. Ice cold beer at a very good price and they have Yuengling. The staff is super friendly and super helpful. Shakia helped me, I told her it was my first time here and she explained everything to me, answered my questions, was patient and on top of all that great help she has a beautiful smile, personality that made me feel appreciated. Shakia is the best gem in this super fun experience here! Also, the restaurant is clean. The car show is a lot of fun, lots of good people, nice cars and bikes.
Ginza Ramen and Poke
Our visit was a bit of a mixed bag. Service wasn't particularly friendly, and there seemed to be a bit of a language barrier, which can be frustrating for all parties involved. My husband ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, and didn't eat most of it. The chicken was thigh meat that wasn't trimmed or cut well at all. There were large pieces with fat and connective tissue still attached, which is unappetizing and was unexpected. Chicken teriyaki is usually grilled breast meat in our experience, so this was a definite let down. The actual sauce on it was ok, but nothing to write home about. I got the sushi burrito with salmon and tuna. It was HUGE, which was awesome, but I was only able to eat half, and sushi doesn't keep well, so half went into the trash, which made me sad. The fish was well cut and portioned well and there was a good balance of veggies, rice, and meat. It did need more sauce, and there were very, very large pieces of cilantro stem in it that I had to keep picking out, which wasn't pleasant and was a little annoying. I would get it again, but I might have to ask for no cilantro, which would be a shame because I love it. Overall, I would only come back if it was just me so I could get a sushirito.
Absolutely delicious! Pork belly was crazy good! My 4 year old loved the Ramen as well. You have to try this place.
Beijing House Restaurant
My spouse is on a clear liquid diet for a couple of days, so here we are. My spouse got the large wonton soup. It was a huge bowl. The wontons went to waste, but the broth was really good. I had the spring rolls, mango bubble, and General Tso's with hot and sour soup. The spring rolls were nice and crispy on the outside but not quite done on the inside for me. General Tso's was good, but from one restaurant to another, it's different. The rice was a bit bland for fried rice. I did love the soup. I haven't had a lot of Chinese food since moving to Texas, and it was a nice change.
Abysmal services, horrid employees, even worse food. If you can catch some on a good day, then MAYBRZ IT WILL BE GOOD. but if you don't then expect the worst food you've ever eaten your life- IF YOU CAN EVEN EAT IT! I'm not joking the food was inedible AND THERE WAS NO REFUNDS!!! worst ever and that's no lie. They had excuse after excuse but no results. pathetic!!
Noy's Bistro
If you love authentic Thai food at great prices this is your spot. We had the Red Curry with beef and the Pad Woon Sen with chicken and tofu. It was tons of food but we just couldnāt stop! Then dessert with sticky rice and mango was perfection! Weāll definitely be back. Great place to spend an evening with friends just relaxing and enjoying delicious food.
What a wonderful place to dine! The food had intense flavor, staff were welcoming, hospitable, and patient. I got to learn a little bit about the history of the restaurant and the staff who work behind the scenes from the owner himself! There's great menu choices. They have three different types of dessert. If you like coconut, mango, and rice, I recommend their "sticky rice and mango" dessert.
Spicy Pot & Boba Tea
This is a truly legit authentic restaurant from northern Vietnam food. You must try there rice paper with grilled meats sauce. It melts in your mouth. They make it fresh in store and the portions are huge!! The waitress is super friendly and sweet. If I could give 10 stars I would!
This is one of my favorite spots! I'm working my way through the menu, but I've yet to have a dish that wasn't stellar! Portion sizes here are a big win for me. The staff ia always kind and you can really tell they time to perfect every dish that they are proud to serve. It's a fairly quiet spot and very clean. If you don't mind great music to accompany you while you eat this place is for you!
Shang-Hai Chinese Restaurant
First timer! The Hot and sour soup was the most amazing soup I have ever tasted. š The chicken in my plate was weird. It was very small cubes. Was not expecting that. The flavor of my dish was good š. The Rangoons were so yummy ! Would recommend sitting far from the door on a cold day . Everytime the door was opened a huge blast of cold air hit us. š„¶ Our waitress was super attentive and friendly. The portions are not huge but just the right amount. There were no leftovers. Lol. My friend had the Mongolian beef and said it was very tasty.
I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and was very disappointed. There was 2/3 cup of chopped celery, about 1/2 cup of peanuts, maybe 1/2 cup of chicken and no chili peppers resulting in a bland sauce. I won't be going back
A Dong Vietnamese & Chinese Restaurant @Forum
The food is great here. I had #87, charbroiled pork with egg roll and vermicelli. It was delicious! Update: Went to dinner here again, very fast service and #68 is very delicious too!
Friendly service. Plenty of parking. Pho was delicious and very plentiful. Got the number 11 and it completely filled me. Clean restaurant and a lot of options. Will come again
Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle
I pointed this place out to my husband wanting to try it out a while back, and we've been hooked ever since! We come here to eat pretty regularly now and the food is always so delicious and filling, and the staff is attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this place, it's great!
1st time visit, was recommended by friend. Had the spicy mini hotpot, was so delicious, and to put in all the different little bowls to make it taste so much better. Had nice tea pot of green tea. Can't wait to try something new next time.
Noodles and Dumplings
It was the first time my wife and I tried this place, we got the orange chicken with a side of stirred fried noodles, steamed dumplings combination, and i got the spicy sesame noodle soup combination, orange chicken was lightly breaded, it had a nice crunch to it, taste really good, the noodles were something I've never had, so soft yet so very good, never tasted something like this before. The steamed dumplings were also delicious, if youre looking for a great soup. Chunky tender meats, great broth with great even spice to it, not too regular but also not too spicy. Our diner came out to $57 and the food was really spot on! Told my sister and brother in law and they tried the same order and they loved it too as well.
First time eating here. AMAZING! Super fresh! They make the noodles and bao buns right there while you can see them! We over ordered because we wanted to try several things. All of it was so good and we will definitely be back. I wish they had smaller plate options for what we did, but it's ok-we got some to take home! We ordered pork steamed bao bins, fried sample flavors dumplings, egg rolls, crab rangoons(this was the only thing that I've had better but it was still good), chicken tonkotsu ramen, chocolate fried bao buns. This is on my permanent list of places to eat at now.
China Moon Chinese Restaurant
Got a good bit of food for the lunch special at $10. My only disappointment was the rangoons were either cooked so much the cream cheese vaporized or it came out during cooking. Usually I get the sweet and sour pork as my side and maybe next time I'll go back to that. The rice and chicken and soup were just great though.
This was my first time ever trying this restaurant and I had a few expectations and one of them was definitely to receive my beef and broccoli dinner with an excellent result. It was really bad. And I am not joking. The moment I opened the tray I knew this was not the kind of beef and broccoli that I usually eat from ANY Chinese restaurant. Thereās usually a dark saucy kind of flavor and texture to the meat and vegetable. This had nothing, no flavor, not even seasoning. It was the most blandest dish I have ever had. the sauce was extremely watery and it didnāt even stick even if you add the soy sauce. So I said hmmm let me just try the broccoli. š«¢ NOPE! Okay Iāll try the beef. š„“ It was so tasteless that I had to actually make my own beef and broccoli sauce. Yes. After buying a meal at the restaurant I had to MAKE THE SAUCE from scratch to be able to eat what I paid for. This is a before and after picture because I really didnāt understand what Chinese restaurant doesnāt make their food this way? I see this place has great potential and people DO order and eat at this place but Iām sure the beef and broccoli is not a best seller. If you do want it to be a best seller or at least good to eat, you need to add seasoning and sauce to the meal China moon. Watery soy sauce WILL NOT WORK. You need water, oyster sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and corn starch with white vinegar and whatever else you want to give it that traditional flavor. Because what I received was not good at all and Iām happy it was so late and I had my kids because if I werenāt exhausted I would have taken that plate back to your kitchen.
Pho 4 Star
The hot pot was delicious but we had to wait for 15minutes for them to make the soup. So perhaps call & make reservations. I thought the steak hotpot was better than the seafood overall. Service was attentive. Would come again!
We popped in here last minute when Wingstop had a FORTY-FIVE minute wait on a Saturday night at 6:30. We were greeted immediately, shown our table, given our drinks and ordered our food in under five minutes. The atmosphere is clean and bright, thereās beautiful art on the walls and congenial staff. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes! We needed a quick meal because we were pressed for time and the service and speed we got on a Saturday night were just what we needed in a pinch! Support a local business and try out Pho 4 Star! š
Linās International Buffet
Everything tasted mediocre. Nothing was like "omg that's so good" that never happened. The walk up sushi and sashimi is super cool though, but sushi sitting out can be scary. My tummy did hurt immediately after, but my sushi desire was hit.
All other international buffets I have been to in San Antonio are better than this one. Very basic and generic sushi menu. No crab legs even on Sunday. I caught a distraught sushi preparer cursing patrons as she cleans the soy sauce from the counter. I do not want to eat at a restaurant where the food preparer is not happy! The table cleaner at our section was super nice though. She was the best thing in the joint.
