This was the most disgusting beef and broccoli i have EVER experienced the flavor and the texture was off. As soon as it touched my tongue I gagged and threw the food away 🚮. Almost positive it wasn’t beef. The rice also wasn’t edible who up charges for brown rice ? Waste of $15

I stumbled across this spot by chance, and I’m so glad I did! While there are several locations around Houston, each is independently owned, and this one truly stands out. Years ago, my family and I had a favorite go-to near Almeda Mall, and it was our Friday night tradition. They served this incredible dish called Singapore Chicken or Shrimp, and we couldn’t get enough of it. Unfortunately, after Hurricane Harvey, that location closed, and I’ve been searching for that same unforgettable flavor ever since. After trying a few spots, I finally found the Westheimer location that had the dish! But the distance made it a rare treat. Then, to my surprise, I discovered this gem right off I-10, just minutes from my job. They call it Triple Spicy Chicken or Shrimp here, and let me tell you...it’s amazing! The spice level is just right (though I like to kick it up with extra hot oil and sriracha), and it’s served with broccoli and your choice of fried or white rice...I always go for white. Their portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is top-notch. This location is small, with just a few tables for dining in, but the atmosphere is warm, and the staff treats every customer like family. I usually order to-go for office lunches or a quick dinner on my way home, and it never disappoints. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this spot! Took my dad out for lunch on a Friday afternoon (not too crowded) and had a great experience! Service was outstanding from refills to making sure our food was to our liking. As for the food itself it was very delicious (and fresh) loved the chilli oil! I definitely recommend this place for great food at a decent price and service.

The lunch is reasonably priced and the food was good. The restaurant is small and quite busy. Employees are nice and chill. I ordered the beef and vegetables with egg roll and wonton soup, everything was great and not overpowering with sodium like some other places.

We've been ordering from this place for years and won't get Chinese food anywhere else. Their food, service, and even the way they pack and deliver the food has remained consistent for years, which we love! This is one of those places where everything across the board is excellent; from their appetizers & soups, to their entrees, side dishes, seafood (love their jumbo shrimp & scallops), to their customer service and their very professional & friendly delivery driver: EVERYTHING is excellent! Their integrity, quality, and consistency in their food and service keeps us coming back. Last December, we threw a Christmas party and had it catered by 888 Chinese. Everyone loved it and said it was a nice treat from the usual traditional cuisine everybody had been eating since November. We just ordered in for dinner tonight and it was just as excellent as it has always been!

When I lived in Dickinson, I ordered from the League City location weekly. This location is just as good! Love the Pan fried dumplings! Tried the shredded pork and green beans, very good!

Shrimps are overcooked, not enough of a variety of fresh salads and raw seafood, to heavy cook for me... I'll prefer to go to Hibachi Grill instead because of limited options on healthy and fresh food.

I enjoyed my cocktails , appetizer and whole fish . However I felt this place was a tad over rated . Dishes can be a hit or miss , proportions are definitely on the small side . Service was not the best , I was definitely expecting better given the hype. Try the michelada and shrimp appetizer , branzino was good, stay away from the chicken dish . The decor needs improvement by the bar area . I feel like they spent more time decorating and seasoning the bathroom than the restaurant.

Fun Salvadoran and East Asian fusion restaurant in the Heights. We enjoyed sharing all of the dishes family style. One of the favorites, the chicken, was tender and crispy with a slight shrimp paste taste/aroma. All the sweet small plates were tasty too.

Cool restaurant inside of ACP Hotel. It has fancy Chinese banquet cuisine, if you rent a room. Otherwise, it's home-style cooking in the lobby area.

I love this place. Good, hole in the wall Chinese food. There’s not much of a seating area, only a couple tables but the service is good. We were hosting a Christmas party and placed large order, and when I came to pick up the order the lady went thru each item one by one to make sure everything was included. Incredible value for the food too, a $160 order fed everyone with ease and a ton of leftovers, probably could have fed 25 people.

Drove into Houston looking for the best dim sum and the reviews about Fine River Restaurant don't lie. It's a cozy and quaint locally owned business that has a line of Chinese folks out the door. Arrive early or be ready for a wait outdoors. When you arrive, write your name and # in party on the clipboard, grab a menu and order sheet and get to picking all the deliciousness! This was our very first time ordering dim sum, so I prepared by watching a couple of YouTube videos to ensure I ordered what I would like to try. Everything was delicious. Once you're called, you hand over your order sheet, take a seat, and they deliver the food a couple of dishes at a time. I can't wait to go back for more!

Fantastic no frills dim sum every day restaurant. The restaurant had most of the dim sum classics and the prices were very reasonable when compared to the prices at other local restaurants. Service was quick and friendly. This is a family owned small business and many of the dishes were served by the owner’s son. On Sundays come early or you might have to wait for a table! The vegetable spring rolls were only $2 for 3 rolls cut into 6 pieces. My only complaint is that the fluorescent lighting in the dining room is very harsh.

Contactless payment available at the pump. No paper in the printer. Well lit with abundant pumps. Not clean outside but inside was fine. Egress on South Kirkwood is hazardous because ingress drivers swing wide at a higher speed than necessary.

I am very impressed with the customer service, I will return once again, the atmosphere is great, the food and each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients 👌

I paid 15 dollars for this and looked at how much shrimp 🍤 the box had. This is a scammed 😑 and it's supposedly their large Size!!

I enjoyed the orange chicken even though it tastes like I think general tso chicken should taste. The fried rice had a few hard pieces. I still ate all of it. I took my food to go. There was not much room in the location to dine in.

I ordered take out with uber eats and they did not disappoint. Even though the food took an hour to get to me it was still piping hot, fresh and delicious. I was nervous after reading the bad reviews but it was tasty and exactly what I wanted. Definitely recommend giving them a shot.

I ordered rare filet. as you can see, they ruined my entire meal by cooking to well done. it's awful and now it's trash. thanks for wasting my time!!! I put the over cooked garbage where it belonged. Don't order here if you want them to give you rare meat, the way every other Vietnamese place offers it. now I have to find food to eat because they ruined MY dinner for the night. thanks guys! update: good job guys, you also ate almost all the duck skin off and left me with dry meat. roasted disappointment and the old fruit that is clearing past it's due date? yeah, Im never ordering from this trash hole again.

So some stuff can be a little pricey like the sauce, however the entree price I think is reasonable for the quality. I really love the Chichen garlic with fried rice. It was delicious and very soft and juicy and my husband loves the wonton soup.

My favorite Chinese in the city! The sauces are divine and they don’t use heavy oils and will adjust spicing to order. Best rice in town! They have used them for take out since 1999 when they had another location on Wesleyan. I’ve glanced at the negative reviews about thick accents and poor communication which are seriously in poor taste. I have never had a miscommunication and I have used this restaurant for decades! They have catered for special events and teacher appreciation separately packed meals during covid! It’s a gem!
