We’ve been waiting for this location to open and we were so excited to finally get to go! Absolutely nothing disappointed. The boiled dumplings were great, as was the sweet silk pork plate that we got. The staff was so hospitable too (,: We finished off with the tiramisu toast which was sooooo good and the perfect serving size. Love that you guys are so much closer to home! ❤️

This new restaurant in the heights is a must try! Food and atmosphere were great. My friend and I were lucky enough to meet the real ‘cooking girl’. Will definitely be back!

Good smell very sour, got rice mixed with shrimp and noodles. That food been sitting out to long cause it should not smell like bad (old).

The people are very kind and always load you up. Best amount of food for your dollar. Also their love mein and orange chicken is deliciousss.

It's the day before Valentine's so we stopped in for a yummy lunch. The atmosphere is very nice and clean. We were sat immediately with no wait. We ordered and our apps were brought out within 10 min. Food was delicious and our waiter attentive. We will be back

I made a to go order. But when I walked in I wish I had just pulled a seat to the bar. Very relaxing environment. The food was really good. Next time I'll make an arrangement with a beautiful lady on my arm. 😇

Food was very good and if you are looking for a quiet environment while eating this place is perfect for that.

A reminder to my readers. My ratings are based on same type of places/restaurants. The food smell and appear fresh, the portion is reasonable in the price is very competitive. The food is tasty, and delicious. I had a takeout which was quick and well packed. The inside appeared cleaned and modern and well kept. No strange orders. Staff was accommodating and friendly. This was my first time there and I will be going back.

The shrimp egg freon was very tasty. The chicken with broccoli comes with the white sauce which is my preference. The chicken with garlic sauce tasted like it was missing the garlic sauce. It was very bland with a lot of bamboo shoots in it. The age of soup had too much cornstarch in it and it was kind of thick. The shrimp fried rice was tasty.

This is a small but very bright gem of a Chinese restaurant. When my husband and I first moved to Tomball, we actively looked for a restaurant to order from. I like to think everyone looks for good and comforting Chinese food to indulge in right? Well we found it! The price point is very reasonable, the portions are perfect, but the most important thing is the quality and taste.. They NAIL it! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who is looking for Chinese food that hits the spot! I always order delivery and the food has always been HOT and FRESH. The delivery is very fast and I love how easy it is to order on the website. Another plus is, you get to choose your delivery time as well. Other Chinese establishments do not compare.

From entering inside establishment, the smell is enticing and ambience is comfortable. The food looks fresh, the prices are perfect, and the customer service is exceptional! If I had one note of feedback, it would be to turn the AC on in the dining area. It was a little warm. The food was very well portioned. We had left overs for later. Restrooms were well maintained and very clean. Super friendly staff!! We will be back and recommend others!

For the price they offer the food is amazing! If you go in unsure about the options, the option to sample them is there! Every time I go there, I find a new dish that I end up loving. The portions are very generous, and the customer service is really nice. Definitely a to go spot for Chinese food for me. Favorites: Salt & Pepper Shrimp and Bourbon chicken

I love this place! Been coming here whenever I'm craving for Asian food. They already know what I usually get. Best service in the area with great food. Highly recommend this if you're in cypress area

Went here upon recommendation from another foodie friend. Very small and unassuming little space. We were greeted promptly and seated. Minimalist decor and very clean establishment. We just had a couple items to try and they were excellent is taste and presentation. We had the beef wrap, lamb with cumin and the Taiwanese noodle soup. Beef wrap consisted of thinly sliced beef with scallions and cilantro wrapped in a tortilla. It wasn't served with a sauce and that was a bit disappointing. It definitely needs a dipping sauce. The lamb with cumin was spicy and delicious. The fragrance and taste of the spice was telling. Lamb was tender. Onions a bit overcooked for my preference but overall a very tasty dish. Not something that you find at any Asian restaurants... will try the beef with cumin next time. And now..drum roll please...the Taiwanese noodle soup was awesome and really hit the spot for me. They have 3 levels of spicy and I chose number 2. You are forewarned that it is extremely spicy and contains ghost pepper. It was well seasoned and I got about 5 chunks of beef. I did miss not having a bit more veggies to go with the soup. For a fiery spice addict such as myself... it was something to remember. I couldn't drink all the broth because it was a bit overwhelming after some time. All in all, super pleasant experience, awesome food and pleasant service. Will definitely be returning. Do give it a try.

The pork lo mein was great as was the shrimp fried rice. Huge portions of each, too. The prices are more than fair. Wish I could take this place everywhere I go!

I don’t write reviews but I love this place and I see people not being truthful. Saying the combo plate is $15 for just chicken and rice is a FAT LIE. You get everything I showed in the picture for less than $10. General Tso combination comes w/ 1. More than 6 pieces of chicken (as it shows 2. Big scoop of rice 3. Egg roll 4. Choice of soup Buy $18 worth and u get it delivered for free. I always tip because I’m getting such a huge amount of food for cheap. They take an hour AT MAX. Usually 30 minutes tho (I’m not super far, 15 min max) Food is amazing and every time I ask for it to be prepared a certain way they do it.

A very solid Chinese restaurant serving freshly cooked Szechuan style cuisine. We took our family of 7 there and everyone enjoyed the different dishes. The flavors were great! with the egg noodles in the lo mein was freshly made because there’s a significant difference in flavor. The quantity was good for the amount of price you paid. The reason why this restaurant doesn’t get a 5-STAR is because there are a couple Szechuan locations throughout Houston that are cranking out five star Szechuan cuisine. Also the service is a four star. although there’s only three tables, the server was very busy to give good quality attention to filling water and being attentive to the dining in patrons. Maybe the to-go orders were keeping her very busy. overall atmosphere is a three star. When you have no paper towels and no hand dryer and the urinal has a trash bag over it your restaurant gets docked points. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

The house special Singapore noodles were delicious. Love the wonton soup. Wasn’t soggy and falling apart. The wings were fried to perfection. The only pointer I would give is the wings don’t have a specific flavor. I would suggest putting some salt and pepper on the side at minimum. Overall, really tasty. Definitely will be back.

I called in my order over the phone and when I arrived my food was ready. This is one of my favorite Asian restaurants to go to the service is always prompt and fast! The staff is friendly and helpful!

We came here the other day as a party of 4. The place is clean and has a chill atmosphere, it's a little bare inside with basically no pictures or wall decor which made it feel a little too much like a fast food chain. They offer pickup and drive thru which is nice. Despite being understaffed a server sat us down as soon as we entered. I will give along of credit to our server she was doing everything from serving us to cleaning tables and working the drive thru, I was impressed. Their menu had a good selection of food and the portions are rather generous and the price is reasonable. I had sweet and sour chicken and it was more Americanized than traditional. The chicken was a little under salted and the batter could have been crispier. Other than that it was okay. The fried rice was tasty. I would say all in all it is a good place to eat.

China 9 is family owned and everyone is friendly and welcoming. Food always rocks, and lunch and dinner specials are definitely worth it. Honey walnut chicken is great. Crab puffs are me and my coworkers’ fave. I come here like once a week. 😙

This place is the best in the area. As a kid growing up Chinese food was comfort food and this place brings back the nostalgia. This is the quintessential Chinese food place with a relaxing atmosphere and overall comforting vibe. The prices are reasonable and the food is always great and consistent. The customer service is fantastic. I placed an order to-go and it was ready in about five minutes. Not really sure what else you could ask for, but I hope this place sticks around forever.

Very good. Loved the Orange chicken, very flavorful and crunchy. The hot and sour soup was really good, wasn't watered down I always hope for more tofu but either way was very delicious. Not a fan of the rice, I think it was brown rice I will order fried rice separate next time to see if I ordered the wrong thing by mistake? Anyway yummy! My mouth, taste buds and stomach are happy, coming back!! Love the year of the pig too very beautiful
