Poke In The Bowl
the place was very aesthetically pleasing and my bowl was very fresh and yummy! i got half white rice and salad with crab meat, salmon, shrimp, cucumber, corn, green onions, radish and topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce. the flavors together were so good. the workers also very nice. i would definitely go back to try their burrito and add more toppings!
This was my first time trying poke, and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were so fresh and well-balanced—it definitely exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
China Express
My wife and I have been looking for a NEW place to order from ever since Tan's (Dairy Ashford) permanently closed. We decided to give this place a shot and we haven't been let down yet. They're no Tan's but they're a lot better than other restaurants around the area. If I had to nitpick their Sweet & Sour sauce is too sweet almost like cherry flavored syrup but besides that I definitely recommend.
I really enjoyed my dinner here! I ordered the fried rice, fried fish, jalapeno shrimp, and egg roll. I feel so good now, and stuffed. Great food for a great price!
Triple Pepper 川三椒 重庆江湖菜
Love the Szechuan food here! Quite authentic and very flavorful. I am especially happy to be able to find the bone-in pepper chicken (辣子鸡) here, very close to the taste I’ve been missing for a long time! Most dishes are good as well - we are trying to come back every weekend since our first visit - this is how much I love their food. However, personally, I found their dry pot series to be quite mediocre… wouldn’t recommend ordering those.
The ambience in the restaurant was phenomenal. I’d like the quiet setting and the nice decorations reminded me I’m going to go in China The servers were very nice and helpful, they changed the plates and brought in water as soon as I finished make up. One gripe that I have about this place is the spiciness level. I think that this is not somewhere where you should go if you do not have a tolerance for spice. Every single dish I had except for the green beans were spicy. The top foods in order : 1. Spicy pork belly. 9/10 2. Cauliflower beef 3. Chicken feet

Stopped by to eat some amazing food! The Generals Chicken, House Lo Mein, and the dumplings were on point! Very fresh and packed with flavour! Didn't expect this level of amazing food inside of an HMart! Will definitely come back!
I wasn't planning to eat while in H-Mart but a downpour of rain changed my mind. I had the beef & broccoli with steamed rice. The service was friendly & the portion was pretty good for the price which just edged this from a 3 to 4 star review. The broccoli was cooked perfectly but the sauce was pretty bland. It may be because the food was not loaded with msg (?) which is a good thing. I did have to put a heavy dose of Sriracha on it to help the flavor.
Mama Chang
It's a pretty decent place kind of hit or miss with some of the food depending on what time of day you come in. the only problem i have with this place is that made to order meals can be customize one day then cant the next and it makes zero sense. Like I've gotten the same meal several times without vegetables and then all of a sudden you can't take the vegetables out even though it's made to order? It makes it that much harder for people with food allergies
The best Chinese food in Spring Branch! They started inside the Fiesta in wirt rd and now they have two restaurants! That just shows the food quality ! Keep up the great work Mama Chang ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Niu Yi Zui
Certainly an interesting looking restaurant, nice and modern and a break from the norm. The menu is very limited certainly in regards to warm offerings. There is an emphasis placed on hand made noodles that vary in size, and they are certainly are nice. However, the beef offered is rather poor, dry and chewy. In addition the dish I ordered was presented warm and became cold very quickly. Great service and sensible pricing, for me the menu offering is just to sparse and the meat just too cheap.
A little disappointed since I saw great reviews. The noodles were fresh but when they are stuck together, it was quite frustrating to eat. I got the oil splashed noodles with pork. By the way if you must try this place, get the pork. My friends got the beef and it was cold meat from the fridge. Seriously. You are welcome. The sauce was good but I wanted more. When I asked for more she pointed to the vinegar and Chili oil, which I guess made sense. But it just lacked volume and taste. I wish my review was different. I also got the beef hamburger. It was different for sure. Tasted okay, but not something that wowed me. I probably wouldn't come back. To be honest, the service was great and surprisingly clean here, but food was subpar. 3 stars for okay.
TJ Food (Food Truck)
Absolutely delicious 煎饼 (pancake)! Authentic taste - comparable to the taste from China. Recommend to take soy bean milk with it - perfect pairing. Also silky tofu soup was tasty!
Nut allergy friendly for what I ordered! A small food truck located in a nondescript plaza, Lau's Kitchen is a hidden gem! On a nice day, you'll notice people waiting in their cars with the window down waiting for their orders to be called. Order to Ready: 6 Minutes We got a Laus Pancake Wrap with spam for three people to have a snack. It comes with two fluffy crepe-like wraps that are an explosion of sweet, spicy, crispy, and soft all at once. One is enough for a snack and two is a full meal, and the spam adds some protein and extra texture. The value is great for the portions you get!
Alan's Deli
One of the best places to get char siu, roast pork and roast duck in Houston. Don’t be fooled by the appearance of this hole in the wall their roast meats are top notch. As with other places you order by the pound and they will chop it for you. The roast pork is best enjoyed fresh. It’s just not the same even if you air fry it. They actually have a fairly extensive menu of rice plates with various combinations of meats although I didn’t enjoy the other meat dishes from the pans as much as their main meats. They are located in the back of the shopping center, tucked away kind of out of sight. Parking is notoriously bad as there are a number of popular restaurants with a shared parking lot.
Alan’s Deli, located in Dun Huang Plaza, has become one of my go-to spots, and after several visits, I can confidently say it’s very good. My favorite dish has to be the roasted duck—it’s incredibly flavorful, with a perfectly crispy skin that complements the tender meat. The sauce pairs wonderfully with the duck, though I’d recommend asking for a bit extra if you’re ordering half a duck, as the standard portion of sauce can feel a bit light. While the menu doesn’t offer a huge variety, you can choose from a selection of vegetables and meats. However, for the price, I think they could offer more value by allowing customers to pick two meats and two veggies instead of just 3. They also have convenient pre-packed items, which are always fresh and a great deal for takeout. The staff at Alan’s Deli are consistently friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their offerings.
Wanfu Cafe
This restaurant is the only Chinese restaurant I order from when I'm at work. I have tried other Chinese restaurants, in the area, and none can hold a candle to Wanfu Cafe. I am very picky about what I eat, how the food looks, the texture of the food, and the flavor. It has to be worth my money and very delicious. I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken, Pepper Steak, and Curry Chicken. All dishes were served hot and were amazingly, flavorful. I will continue to order from Wanfu Cafe and tell all my friends and family. Well my coworkers already order delivery from here all the time, so that's that. The staff at Wanfu Cafe always have a smile on their faces and greet each customer when they walk in. They are very welcoming and this is much appreciated. Thank you guys.
Been here many times, might as well review. I always get the orange chicken with fried rice, always been delicious. Also got a mocha slush, which was also great. Will continue to go whenever I'm feeling like good food. I do wish they had the AC on, it was a little stuffy inside.
Hong Kong Development
Mall still in development some progress need to complete.
Hunan King
First time eating at this restaurant. The guy that took our order has a great attitude and made helpful suggestions on the selection. We ordered the orange chicken, general tsp’s chicken, chicken lo mein, chicken fried rice, pork dumplings & egg rolls. Every single item was perfect! This does not feel or taste like the typical rubbery frozen chicken. All selections had a clean, fresh & very delicious taste. This will definitely be a new favorite place to go to. Don’t hesitate to try them out.
oh my GOD this is my MUST GO TO when im in houston. the orange chicken with jalapeños and cheese puffs are a must try. they were big portions at such an incredible price with amazing taste. best chinese food ive had. at the end of my meal i got the chance to get a free egg roll after following the instagram. looking forward to coming back soon😋😋
DimSumKing express
Don’t confuse DimSumKing Express with the old restaurant Dim Sum King — this is a completely new restaurant on Bellaire. The new place is modern and very clean. Everything I ordered was delicious and did not disappoint. A big plus is the free hot tea and hot or cold water. Since you serve yourself drinks and condiments like soy sauce and chili sauce, there’s no pressure to leave a tip on the bill. This is the newest dim sum spot in Chinatown, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
I came to Dim Sum King Express for a small gathering. We ordered just about everything on the menu, which was smaller than the original Dim Sum King. The service style is a fast food restaurant, just order from the counter and food is brought to the tables. I like the dim sum at Dim Sum King. The food is always made fresh and service is always good. I have been back for noodle soup. Just have to wait for an open seat.
