Having Pho in the US is always something to look up to when traveling across the globe. Most Vietnamese (Pho) restaurants in the US have a common taste. Fresh roll is also something that goes well before the noodle. Vietnamese coffee is also a must. It's just not served in a dropping way of a local coffee would do. The inside is too dark from the curtains though.

On Friday evening, my boyfriend suggested Vietnamese for dinner. While he wanted Pho, I saw some photos of tasty vermicelli bowls that looked like they would hit the spot. After searching online, Heavenly Pho popped up in our search so we made our way slowly to the restaurant during rush hour traffic. The restaurant was decorated beautiful inside and we were greeted immediately upon entry and seated by our waiter. While our waiter took our drink orders, we browsed the menu and I decided to dine on the Vermicelli Chicken bowl that included an eggroll and shrimp, while my boyfriend selected the Pho special and an order of Crispy Calamari. Our waiter came out often to check on us and even warmed my noodles at my request for my Vermicelli bowl. While I understand we are dealing with inflation, I wasn't pleased to count 5 pieces of chicken and see 2 pieces of shrimp heaped on a bowl of noodles and bean sprouts. After viewing other restaurants and seeing what was in placed in front of me, I started to doubt our choice to dine here. I for one love eating at home and my boyfriend loves eating out, but if you are going to raise prices to around $14 a bowl, 1/3 cup of meat should at least be the standard to serve to your guest. I also wasn't pleased with the poorly cleaned shrimp with the dirt line that glowed on the plate in front of me. I felt a bit slighted as he dined on his Pho so I ended up tasting his selection, which was seasoned to perfection. He also ordered a Banh Mi to go and we paid our tab. For nearly $64 with a tip, I do believe I could have found a meal that I felt was worth the trip and cost elsewhere. When I eat out, I like to find restaurants that have ingredients that I normally don't cook with so that I feel like it was worth the trip, labor and cost. My meal, I feel I definitely could have prepared off of a YouTube tutorial and enjoyed more at home. I felt like they tried to disguise the protein under the vegetables to make you think you were getting more than you were (sigh). I will continue looking around San Antonio for other selections.

We showed up 15 minutes early for our 12 o'clock reservation on Christmas Day and were greeted and sat promptly! We were sat at a small table in the back corner near the stage which was fine with us. Minute or so later our waiter came over and explained the menu to us and took our drink orders. He quickly came back and we placed our appetizer orders. Short few minutes later our orders started to arrive. First we got the bougie egg drop soup. It was warm and pretty hardy but no flavor at all... so I had to ask for salt n pepper and that definitely helped. Next we got the soup dumplings and they were amazing! Next was the Chengdu wontons in the bangin garlic sauce and they were bangin!! We then received the duck and smashed Cucumbers. The duck was tender and juicy and my wife really enjoyed it, the Cucumbers were unique to say the least... very sour like made with vinegar and there was tofu skin that was strange to me but I still ate them all! Once I was able to get my waiters attention again we ordered cold garlic noodles and sal and pepper fish and another tea. He took my cup and never returned, we did get the rest of the food from someone else and the noodles were great and the fish was amazing! Maybe we were too hidden away in the corner but service was not the greatest... we had a good time, the food was good, and it was reasonably priced but I would not travel back the 40 minutes it took us to get there.

I absolutely enjoyed our meal. Plates were coming so fast that I didn't even get to take pics of everything. My favorite things were the spicy eggplant and the pork belly. A big surprise was how delicious the boy choy side dish was. They looked plain, but the flavor kissed my taste buds like it was my husband. The fried rice was really good too, they add a lot of veggies to it. Their alcoholic drink menu did not disappoint! I highly recommend this place if you enjoy Szechuan style Chinese food. Oh, and the portions are huge and made for sharing, family style.

Important note, this is a Korean and Japanese restaurant, not just a Sushi restaurant. The name can be misleading or make some think they only serve sushi. Came for dinner on a Saturday evening and it was not crowded, so was immediately seated. Olivia immediately came over for drink and appetizer orders. She did a great job throughout the evening. For the appetizer, ordered the Tornado Potato, Tempura Sampler. Mussels, and Yellow Tail sushi. Food was brought out as they were ready, so ranged between 5 and minutes for all. Everything was good, but my favorite was the simplest dish of the Tornado Potato. Had a nice crisp and went with the salt only flavoring. Sushi was a nice cut of fresh yellow tail. The Tempura Sampler had a few undercooked items that left the vegetables a little hard. The mussels were good, but the toppings overpowered the mussels flavor. For the meal, ordered the Galbi-Tang and Spicy Squid. Both of these dishes were very good. I slightly preferred the soup, but both were good. Galbi-Tang contained large chunks of short ribs and the broth was perfect. The Spicy Squid had good sized pieces of squid in a spicy base mixed with other vegetables. For dessert, finished with the banana tempura which was bananas fried in tempura batter drizzled with a fruit puree and chocolate sauce served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It wasn't too heavy or too sweet. Overall, good Korean food with some Japanese dishes and good service.

Ordered dinner tonight from Sushi Express and boy they did not disappoint! We ordered a California roll, Scorpion roll, Rainbow roll & Rowdy roll and they were all absolutely delicious. Also ordered 2 egg rolls that were super tasty! All of the food was fresh, the rolls were neatly put together, and the food was packaged perfectly. Very much enjoyed tonights meal and will certainly be back to try more rolls!

Excellent service, I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Atmosphere is spacious and very clean environment. During my visit the service was great and consistent throughout the whole restaurant. I ordered orange chicken and it was amazing. The chicken was cooked and crispy and the breading was just right. A lot of repeat customers walked in while I was here and it shows why. I will have to come again to try everything else. Would definitely recommend.

Chris is the absolute man! He remembered me, and I hadn’t been here in 4 years. I just moved back to town and had to get these spring rolls. They are THE BEST SPRING ROLLS IN SAN ANTONIO. I will fight you if you say otherwise, lol. Also, the pho is epic, and I’m a massive fan of the chicken lemon grass. You’ve got to try this place out. Ask to be in Chris’ section.

I've been coming here for years, and they have consistently the best food. This is what you want when you're thinking about Chinese food. I've seen the same people working at this location for years, and they have never sold me something I wasn't satisfied with. I drive an hour round-trip for this craving. Lg Orange chicken dinner special with pork fried rice, small wanton soup, and 5 rangoons comes in just under $20 and leaves some for the next day even if I'm HUNGRY.

Tried this place after seeing that many of the reviews were good. Disappointing. The girl at the counter did not speak or acknowledge me. I ordered and paid. She gave me my food and did not respond to my “thank you.” I got the chicken with vegetables and the sauce had an odd flavor, almost like too much jasmine or some other seasoning. There was very little chicken—the dish was mostly very bland rice and tough broccoli.

First time eating here and my last! The place looked dirty and questionable. The employees didn’t even acknowledge my presence while waiting to get my order. I asked for ALL WHITE MEAT so they charged me extra. I didn’t mind paying extra but once I received my entree majority of it was all dark meat. I informed them of the issue and they said “we would not get that wrong.” I even offered to show them and they still didn’t believe me. Food was gross, employees rude and can’t get orders right and place did not look clean.

Went In with mediocre customer service. Used restroom to find out there was no toilet paper in the stall. i texted my girlfriend who told my waitress (who did her job wonderfully) the situation. five minutes later the manager comes in laughing about it making a joke about why the restrooms weren’t restocked because of a shirt i was wearing. Come back to find out order was missing sides and got excuses. i understand a lack of restock completely but making little jokes instead of an apology seems out of place for the manager.

I've been going here for roughly two decades. The value and location are unbeatable. I know it's not one of those restaurants where you ask for a secret menu and get the Authentic experience or whatever, but who cares? In what's basically 20 years of dining here their Lo Mein and egg rolls have always been excellent.

This was our first time trying it. My wife ordered the pepper steak with fried rice and wonton soup. I ordered the beef fried rice ala carte. It was delicious and found my new Chinese spot. My wife also loved the egg rolls. Great customer service as well.

Love the pho and vermicelli!! Not only was the food good, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. We were the only ones in there and they were quick and friendly. Will definitely be back!

Overall okay. Portions are normal size even for the large. The meat isn’t raw when put into the broth like traditional pho. The serving size for a large is more like a medium for $14.99 (anything over $11 a bowl is disrespectful in USA) prefer 2 other places with better pho and bigger portions but I am gonna gate keep🤫

This is the owner’s 3rd location that I am aware of! By far one of the best pho in San Antonio! I had the Super Pho, a ridiculously sized portion of pho, the dang bowl is bigger than chopsticks laid across! And it was super delicious! Spring rolls are also a hit, unlike most places. This location’s spring rolls are packed with meat!

I have nothing but great things to say about this location, I am hooked! The staff here on Evans is always very friendly and attentive, even when it's busy. The environment is very comfy and family friendly, so don't hesitate to bring the whole group! Food is always tasteful and fresh, whether it be just an appetizer or your actual entrée and they also have weekly specials. 10/10 recommend for anyone who's looking for a new pho place to try out or to make their "home."

Been a regular of Mr. Ramen since they’ve opened. Best ramen in San Antonio. We ordered carry out today and it’s still good. I got the tonkotsu ramen with gyoza and med. thick noodles. It’s my usual order and it’s so delicious every time.

Both broths were just ok. Lacking flavor. The main disappointment was the proteins. Both chicken and pork were over cooked, tough and tasted old. I will not be returning there for ramen. Waitress was very nice and it restaurant was clean.

We dined in for dinner & the place was nice, mainly because we were the only people in the place. Seemed to be more to go orders than dine in orders. We enjoyed the nice quiet restaurant & relaxing atmosphere. The waitresses were pleasant & happy to help recommend plates & explained the spice levels. We told our waitress we don’t eat spicy food & it’s no coincidence our food was at a low spice & perfect for us. Food was delicious & we will go back to try more plates. We ordered a couple different appetizers. The steamed dumplings were delicious. Also tried the lemongrass combination appetizer plate. It comes with 2 egg rolls, 2 winter shrimp, 2 cheese rolls (similar to cream cheese rangoons), 2 gyoza & 2 spring rolls. The sweet chili sauce served with it was a little different from other places, but very good & we liked it. We also had a tasty soup that was on the specials board when you walk in, it had wide noodles, shrimp, squid & tofu. Then we ordered the Pad Thai noodles. I think we are happier with a different restaurant for Pad Thai so this one wasn’t impressive, but it was still good. We really liked all the food as a whole & hope to go back soon to try more.

Monday 1130am. Nice and quite. Alot of togo order's here. 1st time for me. Tried the Thai dumplings appetizer. Very light, not to much flavor but good, not overcooked, steamed to perfection. Tried lunch Num Prik Pao Sauce with very light slightly fried tofu, not overly cooked like some places do. Tofu soft to bite. Great flavor here and I ordered spicy level 5 from 1-10 choice. My lips were a little numb after but it was good. Hot ans sour soup was good. Nice peppery and slight vinegar taste which I found tasty. Give them a try 😉

I've been here multiple times, today we tried the beef spicy ramen, crispy chicken to katsu ramen, spring rolls and the ramen comes with lots of noodles but not enough broth. I asked for extra spicy. It has no spice at all! And the broth was too salty and the beef also tasted dry and salty. The spring rolls tasted like frozen ones that were not cooked enough. Don't order extra ramen like I did, that was too much. The crispy chicken was decent but needed a spicy sauce.

Huge bowl of poke! Fresh fish and toppings were plentiful! So good! Will definitely be back.
